I was totally not feeling Sparkle when I first heard her story. However, over time, I have begun to really respect, believe and actually like her. I feel she's being honest & genuine. I hope and pray for many good things for her. I hope she's able to heal and live her best life. 🙏❤
I think she thought once she introduced her niece & family to R. Kelly, her sis & brother in law would have the common sense & responsibility, to cover their own child through the process of her up coming career.
My thing is if she cared so much and was worried enough to call child protection why didn’t she use her connection with robert to catch her niece there and then drag her ass out and let her know that this monster just wants to use her as an instrument for his pleasure only nothing more. However her parents have the most blame, sparkle just didn’t care as much at the time until it could benefit her she testified because she felt guilty herself. She’s doing this now because she doesn’t have anything else to loose. Moral of the story don’t trust other people to love your children like you do and actions speak louder than words.

She said she didn't get to sing for him and there was no interaction with him at all from 1989 to 1992 BUT, she used to see him out in clubs? WHAT CLUBS WERE SHE GOING TO AT THE AGES OF 14,15 or 16 and where were her parents? Also, she said she and R Kelly NEVER dated but if that's true then why did she get so angry with him when she seen it was Andrea Kelly knocking on the door? Btw the guy Sparkle dated from the group was *Earl Robinson* her ex husband from the group "R Kelly and Public Announcement" I heard she was being a thot and left her husband for R Kelly only to later find out that R Kelly was already secretly married to Andrea Kelly. Sparkle was pissed! She felt betrayed so she got with R Kelly's ex manager Barry Hankerson and 2 others from R Kelly's camp and they plotted to extort R Kelly and take him down with that sex tape but it didn't work. It’s sad that people are demanding more answers from the victims than they are from R Kelly. She shouldn’t have had to explain anything, to be honest. She is not the perpetrator. Also the parents failed that child. They fed her right to the predator. I wouldn’t be surprised if money was involved. The only reason they stopped associating with him (or they hid it) was because that tape got exposed to the world.

I feel like she knew he was messing with little girls but never thought he would take it there with her family hence the fact she basically didn’t trust him alone with her nor did she approve of him going behind her back to contact her family for these “studio sessions” I think she feels guilty for being associated with this situation and is making light of the horrors of his studio filled with young underaged girls being sexually and physically abused.
