I was molested from age 8 until I was 13. I popped pills, suicide thoughts. I was told whatever goes on in this house stays in this house. I turned my life over to God and he healed my heart. I am grateful for salvation. I had a lot of bitterness and unforgiveness but God heal my heart. This is serious. I pray for him and the girls as well.

@@luv4ever101 I did not say he was not wrong what I said was that every one is so quick to point the finger at R Kelly but have yet to point the finger at those who enabled him and those who abused him. We have got to stop pointing fingers and be accountable for our actions. R Kelly is sick very sick and he should be held accountable but also those who worked with and enabled this behavior. Abuse is a cycle and hurt people hurt people fact. But in the black community we have that what's done in this house stays in this house so as a result those abused are stagnated are don't grow beyond the age of when abuse began. So as we sit here and discuss who right and wrong let us first look at ourselves and really get a clear understanding of what is going on here.

And you are 100 percent right it has always been older guys that would do things with young girls. I also remember some older women and teenage boys. A friend of mine was molested as a young age and although he never did the underage thing it has definitely been something that changed his life forever. With R Kelly it was a perfect storm of him not getting the help, and then becoming the absolute king of R and B which gave him not only extreme access but control as well. His brother discussed in an interview that when Robert came into the industry that's when his attitude changed. I believe that is also when it started to change in other ways as well. If people are loved correctly as a kid/teen and treated right, they won't grow up fucked up in he head and start seeking love in negative ways. that last caller needed to share more info. From the sound of her voice , the shaky ness, the word finding, I feel that the abuser is still in the family and is still around, and now she has a two year old daughter and is worried she will not be able to protect her the same way her mom didn’t protect her. The nervousness in that callers voice, the way she blew off the sexual abuse by saying the emotional abuse was worst makes me fear for her little daughter. She used the word “whatever” after describing her counseling experience. I can almost bet that abuser is still in that family, maybe a dad, stepdad. Maybe the mom is still with the person because she mentioned the mom has not healed. That caller needed more help in my opinion.

agree with you. the caller may also have to remove herself from the environment to further her healing process. still sounds troubling, probably suffering from depression and low self esteem. the things that we go through as kids do have an effect on us as adults. it's praying time 🙏🏽

I think i hear her saying that she isnt equipped to help him, bc its a situation that requires more then he is capable of participating in. She said he went to her. But he wasnt capable of putting in the wrk that she needs to help him. And that if she were to attempt it; it wouldnt be productive, it would only be veiwed by others as just entertainment. And that wasnt her calling. Her calling was healing not entertaining!

First they have to acknowledgment, then be willing, to talk, raw truth, accountability, he has this entity, and has done this "thing" for over 20 decades, there is no way in hail, R. Kelly spirit is right. This will be a long journey, for him and his victims, if they're willing to be honest, and take that journey, to heal.

Too many secrets. Who abuse his sister? That hasn't been disclosed and it probably won't be. R.Kelly will not speak his truth because he's ashamed on some level and afraid of the repercussions. He cannot admit to what he has done because it's alot worse than we think! There were two 12-year-olds that we know were introduced to him -- one of those 12-years-olds called him her "best friend" and married him when she was 15, and the other was in a sex-tape with him and another female when she was 14-years-old! It doesn't take 2 or 3 years to earn the trust of a child, so you figure out how young his youngest victim was. 🤢

I honestly think Rkelly wanting to meet iyanla, was simply to do damage control. He knew this doc was coming and wanted to do interviews with different people to make the audience feel sorry for him. Now knowing who he truly is and what he is capable of , iyanla would’ve got in his ass and would not be able to handle HIS OWN truth. He didn’t past her test because he wasn’t being honest on what his true intentions would be. And she knew.

People are always quick to say they didn’t go through slavery not knowing the shit is running through our dna 🧬.. I’m not making excuses for RKelly but we as people been getting rape and molested since slavery.

You have been my hero since I read The Value in the Valley so many years ago. Thank you for being you and know your spirit transcend. I still read Acts of Faith daily and purchased your new edition in paperback and Kindle. May I be so blessed to be in your presence one day.

I brought my first copy of Acts of Faith in 1995 and I gave away three of them because the wisdom in this little purple book was so powerful. As I learned to embrace what she taught, I shared it with my children and all the children around me who are now in their 30's and early 40's who still remember me always saying people come into your life for a reason, season or lifetime. Which were the affirmations in the month of July. Value in the Valley is still my go to book, it's a book I gave to one of my sisters and it gave her the courage to take her children and leave an abusive relationship. I thank God for blessing us with Ms Iyanla

Iamlaurengill I’m not muting R.Kelly because of bad parenting, terrible friends, and money hungry THOTS!!!! I won’t stop listening to R.Kelly until there’s a docu series on Catholic Priest messing with little boys, Law enforcement gunning down unarmed black people, and Harvey Weinstein. I’m not about to just focus on R.Kelly when there’s plenty wrong being done out here. They took down Bill Cosby and now their focus on R. Kelly and I heard that they have a docu series in the works to exposed Michael Jackson. I hope you see the trend and wake up. Wrong is wrong but don’t just pick and choose what wrong to shed light on.
