Breakfast club! I just turned 32 yrs and I had no idea this pervert was doing this. I was too young for Aaliyah & R. K’s stardom. I watched the documentaries of this trash & it made me realize that maybe I should confront my parents about the abuse I got from a close family member. I’m still thinking about taking it to my grave, like what Lisa Van said “everyone reacts to abuse differently.”I never told no one about what was happening to me for 6months. I’m glad there’s more awareness and people are listening.

So I'm completely confused....because in episode 3 of Surviving R. Kelly Lisa Van Allen says and I quote, " I came across the tape of me, him, and the 14 year old on it." She then goes on to say she took the tape. According to Surviving R. Kelly the same tape she took made it's way to the Chicago Sun-Times. The tape in question has her on it and cuts to the 14 year old by herself with R. Kelly. My confusion is as to why she would tell the Breakfast Club that she was not on the tape that went to trial question @ 1:37 in this interview...but she admits in Surviving R. Kelly the tape that the Chicago Sun-Times received is what went to trial. 🤔

A person don’t have to be shackled down physically but those chain could be emotionally or mentally. I was being abused by my father for 10 years. My mom wouldn’t leave because she too was hurt so that type of crap was almost normal to her. I was free Going back and forth to school, but I wanted out so bad but didn’t know how. So I ran away and they found me and brought me back and it was really worse for me after that. It came to the point that One of us was going to lose our lives but God intervene through a teacher who saw something going on with me(I acted out in school). It moved like clockwork I was out of there and never dealt with my father who later committed suicide. I hurted for him because he was my dad even though he hurt me I was now older to know if he was perfect he wouldn’t done that. I am still affected from my childhood but want to support those still in it not take your life and it’s not your fault.
The world’s condition is not how the creator designed it but we have to make the best of it until the change that was promised comes(his spiritual cleansing). Stay in prayer for yourself and others who may battling a disease.
