Mr Schmee, you can fill up your car at both sides at the pump no matter what side your fuel filler cap is. Just pull out the hose from the pump and you can reach both sides of your car.
Glad to see the red monster back in the stable. I had the good fortune of seeing it at Goodwood in summer 2018. Its changed quite a bit since then fair play ! Few more horses under the hood 😎
400 ponies exiting such little car must be fun. wasn't expecting much,but the view inside the engine coffin is something .the carbon parts and the work done seems like pristine.
"That triangle" exposed. That triangle is a trim piece on the new DBX that I noticed could be customized when I was building one. I built the car silver and placed that trim piece as black--to me, it gives the DBX an entirely different look, and makes it look longer and lower in the front. I like your decision for skinning those fenders where you explained!
You know cars are all about passion and fun when Shmee has a Senna, AMG GTR Pro etc ect and still laughs and smiles the same amount driving an affordable hot hatch
Honestly the Aston and the focus have been some of my favorite projects just because of how crazy they look and mods and all that. I love all the cars but the focus with watching this crazy build I just love it

design wise, i think you should do the bonnet like you're doing the fenders. paint match it all race red but just leave the louvers and scoops as exposed carbon. would be a smart approach
Your RS is looking significantly better. 500hp from a small and light car is quite a lot as well. I bet it's torque # is even higher. Any word on what that is? Can't wait to see what it can do on dry pavement.
Finally getting that bonnet done, my 2pence.... just have the vents showing in carbon, same as how you mentioned on the front wings, although surely the rear ones will need to be done also? Some good old bonding on there or get them smoothed into the original rear quarter and painted 😉
I would love to be able to drive one of these one day, let alone one like this! I don’t have shmee $ to spend but I had a 2007 STI when in Michigan years ago, was such a fun car and super good in the snow with snow tires. Always felt hatchback would be the way to go. Like shmee I collect 1/18 scale model cars, I have the 1/18 version of this car but wish I had the original! Keep up the great work Tim

Always thought the carbon bonnet made it look a bit shit. Mostly red with some bits of exposed carbon left on show would look spot on.
Anytime you want to really deal with crazy traffic come visit the east coast of the USA any of the big cities here have massive traffic headaches no matter the weather!
Tim you should bring the RS over to south Spain. I have an edition here and some of the roads here are a dream for the RS. Estepona MA8301, Gaucin/San Pedro to Rhonda, Tarifa and many more.

Nice car but I think the wheels also need upgrading , something more dominant is needed to make it stand out more & especially after the wider carbon arches are installed , I’m sure you will get it spot on

Helped my friend install a carbon fiber hood on his 350Z. Turned out the stock plastic hood was lighter. Bare carbon looked so much better though
I once had a chance to look at a carbon fiber bicycle and it was really really really really really light.

If you went to buy them all new from the OEMs that would be kinda expensive for sure; fortunately the come with the cars normally

Those pops and bangs 💥 are engineered into the map. Sound a bit tacky tbh mate. You could ask them to dial them back a bit.
You can actually just change the setting if you don't want them, but for entertainment purposes why not
