Most of the videos you comment on, I've already seen before but I love the way you break things down and the thoughts you add. I really appreciate your ministry. This is why Jesus Christ said that you must be born again.

@@Lauren-vd4qe I am not talking about tribulation saints in my reply to the OP. I am talking about church-age saints. We all know (or we should all know) that a huge influx of saints will happen during the tribulation. But many church age saints come to faith via a severe health crisis or other such devastation. I've known many to come that way. My own case was a personal crisis but not health related. It sometimes involves being driven to one's knees or being driven to the end of one's self to actually look up and see God. Not always but a lot of times it does. I say whatever it takes, I am good with it as long as it gets one to faith in Christ. And even if it takes some going thru the tribulation. Better they go thru that and get Christ than to go thru that and be eternally lost.

I bring up a point that addresses many of the questions in this video.
I'm currently at the point where Hovier asks, "So God interacts with things how could he exist outside of space and time but interact within space and time?"
I always point to the theoretical physics narrative in The Flatlands. Brief summary: a man in the second dimension sees a 3rd dimensional ball pass through his paperesc world. But, since he is 2 dimensional he only sees an expanding circle. The depth of the ball is beyond his perception because of his dimensional constraints.
On the same not a circle in the 3rd dimension is a 3rd dimensional representation of a second dimensional object. Higher dimensions can become objects of lower dimensions but lower dimensions are only components of higher dimensions.
Assuming that God is real and has no dimensional constraints he exists with depths that aren't even fathomable from our 3rd dimension point of view. God could reach into the 3rd dimension and effect and be represented in a 3rd dimensional way but we, as limited beings could not reach upward into higher levels.
We could only rise as representations of ourselves. A component of us could increase in dimensional steps but God could extend himself to all percievable degrees within the limitations of the lower dimension into the lower dimensions.
He can see all of this around us. It is simple by comparison. We cannot see upward to the 4th 5th or 6th dimension because our physical eyes cannot percieve. Although our math can prove some of it theoretically.

    • @IchNachtLiebe
      @IchNachtLiebe 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

@@mesplin3I think that the Christian implication would be that God exist beyond the 4th as well. He would be in double digit dimensions and beyond while simultaneously being able to exist within each expansion of dimensions if he willed to be.
I see your point in the context of God being in the dimension directly above us. But if he existed in all dimensions beyond that as well and all of those levels were as simplistic to him as a single circumferance circle of a ball is to us his ability to understand and manipulate anything existing in those finite constraints would be limitless.
My main point, of course, was just to address the guy in the video asking the question essentially: if God can reach his hand into our physical world would that not imply that he is constrained in some way or tethered to this world?
I'd suggest the answer is no because the downward effects of higher plains to lower plains is a one way street. Higher spaces can effect lower ones without limit but lower ones can't change their state of being to exist in higher ones
I appreciate your feedback to my original comment. Also, I only contemplate these types of ideas and don't test them mathematically like a physicist might. So, my perspective could be totally wrong and totally assumptive

It's more than just destabilizing for atheist arguments, if one can hear him with honesty. He's each time poking that common belief among skeptics, that logic/science and faith are incompatible, which is nonsensical (I also love John Lennox and his view on that particular subject). Let's rejoice ourselves that God made such eloquent people among us, grounded in logic, to also bravely bear the cross for us on the frontline. Because it really is a fierce spiritual battle. It gives me hope, knowing that among those who really open their hearts, and listen to them with honesty, some will hear the call, and choose to answer. Love to you all, brothers and sisters. I can relate with the objector in this video so much.
Historically I’ve held tacitly to the notion that it’s solely up to God to change my mind, change my will, and change my desires in general. Even today I am often so strongly tempted to resort to this comfortable, but nefarious belief.
When we find ourselves slipping into this belief of “it’s not up to me, but up to someone else to convince me or change me,” it becomes exceptionally difficult for anything or anyone to have any influential impact on us, other than our own strong desire to believe what we already are currently wanting to believe, which, is usually so tacitly held that we don’t realize we’re doing it.
When we truly begin to submit ourselves to the idea that something else or someone else has a better explanation for how something works, or how things are, that’s when we begin to open ourselves up to being convinced otherwise.
It’s usually an uncomfortable feeling to say the least.

KNOWING my Father exist is not the same as believing he exist. KNOWING places you in a position where it becomes possible to deny his holy spirit for the spirit of Satan instead
KNOWING places one in a very dangerous position. It's why few are given KNOWLEDGE of him. My Father won't give it unless he feels it's safe to do so.
It's best to let most believe he exist only. Belief allows a second chance if Satan is chosen.
All believers will have doubts regardless of what they confess if they are without real life experience of a spirit realm.
My Father will reveal himself to all in time. If you refuse his offer, he won't prevent you from entering the grave of no conscious thought. I can't see anyone refusing.

Once you open the door a tiny crack to a transcendent being who created the universe, the inescapable conclusion is that you are accountable to that being. That's what Javier was fighting against in that video, and why he wasn't willing to answer even just the hypothetical "If it were true, would you believe?" question. Fundamentally, unbelief is not due to lack of evidence. It's due to our willful rebellion against the Creator's authority over us.

He doesn't have any counterpoints; his response to all the questions asked was, "Show me proof." He couldn't even prove they were having that conversation at that moment. If humanity adopted Javier's disregard for evidence, thousands of rapists and killers would be at large because the courts wouldn't have the necessary proof. However, they were able to use logic and deduction to determine responsibility. He was just trying to be a smart @$$ and didn't want to apply logic. Which effectively turned this convo into a grown up trying to explain algebra to a 5 years old.

That's quite an interesting way to put it. He is concealed just enough to be merciful to those who don't want Him, but is always there at the door.
The problem for some, I suppose, is are they really honest when they say they were seeking God? Like do they actually want Him? Because after many interactions with some, it becomes quite clear the reasons why they would not want Him. Whether they see it or not. I normally deduce it back to something they are not willing to give up.

So my argument on the first point comes from my training as an artist. I can render an object on a piece of paper to look as though it has three dimensions. I can create an illusion of 3d space on what we know to be functionally a 2d surface. Supposing I could somehow give life to this drawing, and the objects within could interact with each other. They could either accept that there is a being beyond their world, that is someone or something outside of their world that is giving them form. I am not part of the paper nor, if it's possible, the world of the objects I've drawn. But my existence caused all the relations in that drawing to exist. I set the framework by which the things in the drawing exist.
