Fantastic video, definitely not easy to pick 10 out of an amazing year of releases. The Aurora and the Forest green Mudmaster are visually my absolute favourites of the year, they are just absolutely gorgeous.
My favorite is the GWG B1000 Mudmaster. Absolutely love the watch. Casio just keeps the putting out the best watches. The Mudmaster brand everytime I see it makes me want to buy the newest version. Quality and styles ..
Love the Ninja-themed G in the honorable mentions. Wish G-Shock could pack all the cool features of the Mudman/Frogman into and small wrist-fitting square with the iconic electroluminescent backlight. Now that would be my dream watch.
I really liked the MTG-B2000YR-1AER Illumination City. I love the MTG-B2000 models & liked that it had that splash of colour to it. I can’t believe it didn’t even get a mention 😮. But my favourite was the MTG-B3000PRB-1AER. I just think it’s awesome. I love it anyway.
Brilliant watches ! I've been collecting mechanical watches for a while and in the past year I've switched on to Casio and G-Shock watches. Love my G-Shock GG-1000 Mudmaster, and GA-700 , but I plan to get more !!
A little surprised the other 40th anniversary MRG wasn't on this list given that it seemed to captivate G-Shock reviewers more. Then again it sold out a while back so I've never seen it in person. Meanwhile a local shop had the B2000SG-1A and a few weeks after seeing it I got it as a birthday gift to myself. I can see some people having reservations about the white rubber, but 1) the rubber strap fits my wrist much better than the MRG bracelets do 2) There are strong Byakko/Baifu/Legendary White Tiger mythology vibes with this one so white was really the only fitting option and 3) by all accounts I've read people have been able to just wipe/scrub white FKM rubber straps on other watches to keep them clean so I'm not terribly worried. I imagine it might be like keeping white shoes clean: not hard to do, you just need to remember to do it every now and then. We'll see how this goes down the line. In the meantime it's been sharing wrist time pretty evenly alongside a Grand Seiko as an entertaining compare and contrast of two approaches to high end Japanese watchmaking. I too also got a statement piece MTG last year but in my case it was the MTGB3000CXD9A. I normally am not a fan of gold tone watches, but I liked the dragon scale motif enough in this case. This one's already survived a whole lot of falls after I wore it to go ice skating with friends for the first time in forever.
Was browsing the other day in a shopping mall for G-Shock and stumbled on the Square G-Shock (no.7 in the list). I was surprised to see the price here in my country. It's beyond my means 😱 Honestly, I only can dream of owning it 😅 Anyway, your top 3 is awesome. I can see why, especially the number one 👍🏻
@@TimeDrops_ thanks! You’re from the UK right? Do you have any G shock Fire Package models? Apparently in Japan they come in special trunk boxes. From what I’ve heard, UK get a few of them as well. They’re Japan / UK exclusive.
