I know the backstory of G1 Skyfire. A scientist who was friends with Starscream before the war. They explored earth but Skyfire got lost in a snow storm. And the part where he was founded by the Decepticons years later, he joined them, but later on switched to the Autobot side and etc etc etc. The Siege toy is accurate to G1 cartoon Skyfire. But I'm not really a fan of the guy being bigger then the other Transformers. I grew up during the Transformers Unicron trilogy, it was just some cartoons that just happened to be on TV, not knowing it was so much more then that, where Jetfire was the same size of other Transformers. And I preferred that size scaling ever since. Of course when I got interested in collecting Transformers during the WFC trilogy when Earthrise hit toy shelves. I did eventually get his Siege figure. To be honest, despite the mechanical designs on his body, he looked kind of plain. His weapon pieces and chest armor that can store together to be some kind of drone, not really a fan of that either. Wish it could have been stored in his red backpack when not in use. But since it can all be used for Jetfire's battle mode, with blast effects, I display him weaponized his with his blasters and missiles and armored up with his chest armor and battlemask. He honestly looks better that way to me. So in my headcanon, I gave him the G1 toy commercial backstory. Of the Autobots creating him as the ultimate robot jet to fight the Decepticons in the sky. It also justify his bigger height too.
You know I didn't think of it as a missed opportunity to use his back pack as a back pack until now. As for the other Jetfire stuff. Those are just completely different characters so I think it's fine for them to be different scales.

I am so happy that this thing was reissued. This has been one of my CHUG grails for a long time and I was unbelievably happy when I found out that BBTS was putting him up for pre-order (even happier when I was recently emailed that the order would be processed soon). Also, no rush, but I feel like a top 10 list for both the best and worst figures of the WFC would do really well.
Animated jetfire: wasn’t trying to be it was a trademark thing, I’m sure a proper version of the character would have appeared in season four, albeit probably named skyfire
@@PerspectiveEnd how you referring to the g1 character as skyfire, and not jetfire because all of the characters claiming to be jetfire are completely different
Yeah it took me like a day of constant fiddling to figure that out my self I can't remember what tipped me off, but I remember it being a "Holy Shit" moment.
I got an online reissue of this guy for retail price and now he's my second favourite commander. My personal ranking is: 1, Ultra magnus (I found him for voyager price) 2, Skyfire (The biggest and most chunky out of the ones I own) 3, Magmatron (Dinosaur orgy) 4, Armada prime (pretty great) 5, Rodimus (pretty good) 6, Motomaster (only good for menasor) I don't own Skylinx or SS86 prime.
DAAAAMN How did you get magnus for Voyager? Sadly I don't even think Motormaster is good for Mensor any more because the last two members of the team suck so bad. Glad you are enjoying Skyfire so much.
This guy is fantastic, easily the best of the commanders if you ask me. Siege had tons of good figures but out of all of them this guy is my favourite, he has such a presence on a shelf.
welp, you convinced me to get this guy... eventually, eitheir when he gets a reissue or I can find a cheaper KO version, cause I've seen the price he goes for and the 250 euros he goes for is unreasonable even for a commander class (who usually go for 110 where I'm from)
@@PerspectiveEnd good to know. commander class really seems like a big step up from leader but so far alot of them don't interest me or have 1 flaw (Magnus's thighs being restricted) that keep me away from them
Glad I could either summarize your thoughts, or explain something you didn't know, it wasn't clear from what you said which is the reason you appreciated this.
Hey I have to really thank you on this one in particular I originally wasn't going to get this guy if it was re-released (even when the sg one was revealed) but I decided to get to pick one up and godamn I can't put him down so I really thank you!
In IDW comics they always called him Jetfire, in the Italian version he was called "Aquila" ("eagle", back in the day they changed almost all names here, sometimes into other english names for whatever reason) so to me it's Jetfire because it's with the IDW comics I reconnected with the character in my adulthood. Regarding the feel of the plastic, one thing I noticed is that often some sturdy plastics aren't the best-feeling plastics. I'm into spacesims and I remember when discussing joysticks many complained that one of the brands that made particularly solid stuff "felt like a toy" while many of the brands that used more premium-feeling plastic instead had a tendency to either break or getting visibly worn-out in a relatively short time.
That makes sense, I guess the Skyfire Debacle wouldn't be a world wide issue since it's all about American Licensing rights. I love the IDW comics, but I never really remember Jetfire being in them much. Why are you bringing up the plastic. I don't remember talking about that in this video... Man you'd think I'd have a better memory considering it's only a couple days old.
I feel like a kid the day before Christmas. I was a broke kid starting my second year of College when I got into collecting Transformers, and ER was already out even if I could afford him. Now I have a bit more liquid cash and with the reissue on Entertainment Earth finally hitting, he's finally arriving tomorrow (Wednesday), rather than May like I expected. Fun fact about Jetfire, due to Europe's different licensing deals, Hasbro couldn't sell Optimus Prime toys until another Company's Diaclone license expired. Thus they needed a leader for the Autobots until they could acquire the rights and chose Jetfire.
I wouldn't really say the OG character had a Duality to him. He was only on the Con's side because he was tricked, and it only lasted like an afternoon.
Sad to say so far they haven't. Skylynx was really cool but his tolerances were terrible, a Rodimus... Well lets not talk about him. I just hope as Commander Combiners become a thing the Knock it out of the park.
I absolutely love this mold once I got it! I preordered it years ago so I got the first wave of figures, and have admired it ever since. I still regret not getting another one when I saw it for $50 on Amazon. But I did get the Shattered Glass version, BUT I've been an SG fan for YEARS, so I know all about the FunPub lore along with the short IDW one. My arm blades make him look soooo complete too though.
Nice. I had the SG version preordered but then Hasbro Pulse had an aneurism and they just slowly canceled all my preorders over the course of several months.
@@PerspectiveEnd OUCH. That's messed up man. Target, Walmart, Pulse, and even Amazon have really been sketchy on their preorders in the last couple years. After Amazon cancelled my medic pack I've been shopping there less. I mean it's bad enough that they sticker up or put our packages through a gang initiation beatdown before delivering it to us, but the cancellations are just BRUTAL :/
3:51 That statement was flipped on its head in the most hilarious way possible because of, well, y'know. "They agree with me, THEY AGREE WITH ME" *Perspectives then laughs with unrestrained validation*
Hey PE, I’ve been checking out your older vids as I recently found you while looking for Transformers reviewers. I’m glad to hear you have a positive review of this figure. I missed him first go around, and I’m hoping to pick him up upon the coming rerelease
Sorry it took me so long to respond to this one. Normally I get around to stuff like this on the first day, but I've been working on one of the more intensely hard videos in my channels history this last week, so I was a bit held up. Yeah no this thing is great. I love it. You should check out my WTB Skyfire video. He's in that one too.
I just got my copy of this guy from China and I didn't get scammed! I've played around with him for a while and I can safely say that he is my favourite figure from War For Cybertron too! (I now have every commander class figure and can't wait to get the rumored 86 Commander Ultra Magnus if he is real!)
This figure definitely makes me question why we’re even getting a masterpiece to begin with. I’ve always wanted to get this guy but always been snubbed with each chance I got. I heard he’s going to be in the SG line, he’s going to be the last figure announced apparently, and if that’s the case, that’s probably gonna be the one I get since I already planned to complete the SG line to begin with.
I don't know what they are thinking with the MP, they could have just upscaled this and retooled it a bit to get the MP version. The SG version will be in Skywarp colors to be clear.
@@PerspectiveEnd Are you going to be picking up the Skyfire MP that comes out in February? It's fairly expensive but as far as MPs go, 270 aint that bad
Man, seeing you doing a review on this figure made it look easy, then I did my review, and while I do like the figure, it was really hard to film because of how big he is
In addition with that harmony gold statement, yet it was that and also the fact that takara couldn't sell the toy so even internally hasbro was compelled to change the toy so thst both of them could profit
The armor looks good, wish they just add the antennas on the helmet, I mean they did it for generations so it should be no problem, I also find the visor to be a bit off, I always see his visor as like a wide V shape or arrow shape, kinda like what the toy version of bumblebee was going for, I also heard cyberverse might be in legacy and if any character from that show should be in that line, it's jetfire, I mean they managed to make the skyfire design look cool in my eyes, sure it's not exact but close enough, maybe it could be a retool or maybe a new mold to fit at a scale to fit with the cyberverse deluxes because honestly I would buy a cyberverse deluxe jetfire if I had money and a drivers licence, man wasn't the cyberverse cartoon good from S2 and onwards
I think they weren't going for the actual Valkyrie design, just like that Heavy Pack or what ever it was called, and they really only wanted to be Reminiscent of it.
When I got this it made me so excited for the future of commander class because it’s so amazingly good It was a very nice reminder for me to never get too hopeful with hasbro
acquired recently the KO oversized one (not sure how much bigger he is, he might be MP scale) and yeah, apqrt from a few joint tolerances that are wonky, some tabs (mainly the wheels and the chest pieces) that are eitheir too tight or don't hold well (the one for the hands). it's a pretty interesting bot. also mine has diecast feets and apqrently some gaps fillers.
I love this guy! I saw 3 in a comic shop 1 year ago, and Christmas I decided to check if they were still there. 2 were left, I picked one up without hesitation. 2020 and it was still normal, list price. It's one of my better reviews.
Nice. It was hard to find these guys normally, and now it's an absolute agony for most people to locate one that's not at least 50% more expensive than it should be.
I got this guy just the other day. Phenomenal figure, so much fun and a fantastic display piece, I've got Buzzworthy Bumblebee and Spike sitting on his shoulders while pumping a fist in the air and goddamn does he look cool. Even the fanmade combined mode with Optimus is fun. Took me a while to figure out you have to pull his side skirts forward to pop out the handles on his hips. The only reason he doesn't beat out SS86 Grimlock as my favorite of my collection is simply because I love Grimlock that much, but damn, it is a CLOSE race.
Growing up, I just called him Jetfire, I didn't watch the episode of the G1 cartoon he was in where he was referred to as "Skyfire." Plus, most Transformers media just called him Jetfire, even if they were nothing alike. Also, based off your descriptions as a kid of Jetfire/Skyfire being the "biggest thing ever!" Makes me kinda want an MP scaled titan that can fit all of the MP characters and feel like a real base. Impossible, maybe. But, I'd love to see it. His design in Stormbringer is still my favorite to this day.
The one in Stormbringer is a heavily Coolified version of his Classics toy. He was actually called Skyfire for all of G1 not just 1 episode. I've always wondered why no titans fold out like a Mighty Max playset.
My series jetfire is gonna be a former seeker like revenge of the fallen (don’t worry that’s the only inspiration from that version he’s not gonna be hunchbacked or anything) he and starscream both tried to takeout megatron because they both agreed he didn’t have a lot of the cons best interests at heart, however he found out starscreams plan for them gaining leadership would sacrifice lives in the process, megatron found out about this plan and tried to execute both of them but the autobots saved jetfire, though afterwords jetfire was teleported to earth in the ice age and was thawed out either but human researchers or global warming
i like to look at the name mind-frickery like this: he was called skyfire before he crashed on earth, and then later changed it to jetfire later on when he joined the autobots
@PerspectiveEnd some of the figures don't look too bad with the battle damage . Depending on their colour scheme I think jet fire looks better without it
Thank you I'm glad I wasn't the only one who saw skyfire and jetfire as different characters. Not a fan of movie verse that thrust looking good though then again I'm a sucker for that green
You forgot one thing aside from Harmony Gold suing Hasbro for the Macross design. In Japan, it cannot be sold as Transformers toy (G1 Jetfire/Skyfire) because the original Macross toy was made by Takatoku Toys which is sold (or owned) by Bandai, Takara's (now Takara Tomy) rival and competitor.
Yeah but that wouldn't explain the Name change which was what I was going for. I feel like it's been a really long time since I saw you leave a comment.
Man I'm sorry to hear that, I don't mean to poop on your parade, but had you not heard they are re-releasing him soon? I'm also happy for you but sorry for the extra 20 you lost.
just got him today, honestly surprised for this price point how much they used to pack with him. I mean he is my biggest figure now and yet has all this other stuff with him
The height you gave skyfire is similar to how I interpreted the double zeta gundam's height. Given the double zeta's bulk and muscular build, I thought that he towered over the nu gundam (which in my interpretation the nu gundam only came up to double zeta's underbelly) the ground combat type, Alex, rx-78-2, zeta, Mark-2 aeug, Mark-2 titans, zephyranthes, phylias, stamen, ez-8, guncannon, guntank, gm1, gm2, gm custom, Rick dias, hyaku shiki, Nemo and other early uc aeug and feddie mobile suits from og to char's counterattack.
I never really realized that Zeta's height is supposed to be more than a normal gundam. Based on all the images I've ever seen of it, it seemed about the same size as normal gundams.
When it comes to my version of this character. It's like he has 2 sparks. Giving him 2 personalities. Skyfire (the show character) the scientist and jetfire the warior. Jetfire is a little unhinged and will attack his own team if it means his agenda is filled
I would like to say this harmony gold had nothing do with sky fires name they only changed his name cause takara didn’t want hasbro advertising a competitors, toy so they made the show model look different from the toy and changed the name so it would be unrelated to the jet fire toy so hasbro’s contract with takara could be kept
I've never heard it told that way, but I wouldn't be surprised that you are right. Though I don't know why calling it a different name was required since that has nothing to do with the Valkyrie toy, regardless if it's Hasbro or Harmony Gold that made the call.
I was recently watching g1 on tubi, and I believe that (j/s)fire did carry prime and his buddies, at least during one of the first times, then scalled down.
I Definitely Agree! Jetfire is in my Top list of Transformers and he nails it! Now... As for the name, for me he is Jetfire, it was his Original name, and it´s called that way in the Marvel Comics, the cartoon is the only place he was Skyfire. So for me, they are still one and the same. I can respect the people who call him Skyfire, I grew with Skyfire too, and wondered why he was Jetfire in the comics, after knowing Jetfire was the name he suppose to have, he is Jetfire for me.
Personally I always say the intent doesn't matter what you do is what matters, and what they did was call him Skyfire. And hell Skyfire was a way different person than even the Jetfire of the Marvel Comics who didn't have the same origin or personality. They may have been forced to call him Skyfire, but it still wound up being a Distinct name for a Distinct Identity.
@@PerspectiveEnd All Jet Fires including Skyfire have different personalities, remember in the Japanese Series Superlink, (Energon in the US) he was also Skyfire. So yeah... they have been playing with the name. Still love all his incarnations Jetfire is one of my favorite characters, the only Jetfire I don´t see much as a Jetfire... is The Animated one... Jetfire/Skyfire is always meant to be a huge plane, not a small hot headed one, I don´t hate that guy in a way he is cool, But I don´t see him as another Jetfire, he goes too far from what is expected.
Just got the shattered glass version and it’s just magnificent, love the gimmicks on it. Also I saw a rodimus prime for $70 and I was wondering if you think that’s a good price?
Idk if they will again, but this past year, Amazon had it on sale for a bit for only $45. If the deal isn't going away any time soon, it might be worth keeping an eye on those sites or even mercari/eBay as that sale led to people selling the figure a lot cheaper due to reduced demand.
Personally I'd keep him the same, if it's supposed to be a new incarnation of the same dude. Weirdly large over built scientist, who accidentally missed out on the whole war and has to come to terms with discovering it happened in his absence.
9:25 those are called wing flaps, they're used in order to slow down planes when they are getting ready to land or take off or just reduce the wind being blown at them.
The head platform can actually shift down so he can look downward (looks much better than when seige megatron does it) also his arm mounted canons can split into shields and double barrelled guns
WHAT IS THIS MADNESS AND HOW HAVE I NEVER NOTICED IT BEFORE!!! The head took some force but not so much that I shouldn't have noticed this before. but the arm cannon, Yeah that wasn't easy to separate.
The glowing forehead is some leftover DNA from the Japanese history of the franchise. Specifically from the Gundam inspiration many of the cartoon models took. The front and back squares are cameras that provide the pilot with a greater range of view for battle. Siege/ER Optimus also has a back camera. Oh and the things on the wings are called Ailerons. They control the roll of the aircraft.
@@PerspectiveEnd Well it's never been confirmed for Transformers, it's just leftover DNA/ references in the toys to other Japanese mecha. Kind of fitting, as both the original Optimus and Jetfire toys were mechs being piloted by smaller beings.

Problem is in G1 he was only a Con for about an Afternoon. He woke up from being in a Coma since before the war, and the Decepticons were the ones there so he joined up with them, basically the second he ran into the autobot's he realized they were the good guys and joined up with them.
NICE! Congratulations. I'd not heard the reissue was happening already.
That could be cool yes.
Animated jetfire: wasn’t trying to be it was a trademark thing, I’m sure a proper version of the character would have appeared in season four, albeit probably named skyfire
What is this in response to? It's been so long since I made the video.
@@PerspectiveEnd how you referring to the g1 character as skyfire, and not jetfire because all of the characters claiming to be jetfire are completely different
Had this guy for like 2 years. Only now I discover that the long missles can disassemble into 2 separate guns. Thank you my friend!
Yeah it took me like a day of constant fiddling to figure that out my self I can't remember what tipped me off, but I remember it being a "Holy Shit" moment.
You are the only reviewer on TH-cam who has shown the opening back cockpit. At this point I thought he didn’t have 1
And I did it in a video about a third as long as any other channel's on the subject.
@@PerspectiveEnd Yes, and it wasn’t stolen like PrimevsPrime or TonTon
Man, I'm all kinds of impressive.
@@PerspectiveEnd yes you are
I got an online reissue of this guy for retail price and now he's my second favourite commander.
My personal ranking is:
1, Ultra magnus (I found him for voyager price)
2, Skyfire (The biggest and most chunky out of the ones I own)
3, Magmatron (Dinosaur orgy)
4, Armada prime (pretty great)
5, Rodimus (pretty good)
6, Motomaster (only good for menasor)
I don't own Skylinx or SS86 prime.
DAAAAMN How did you get magnus for Voyager?
Sadly I don't even think Motormaster is good for Mensor any more because the last two members of the team suck so bad.
Glad you are enjoying Skyfire so much.
@@PerspectiveEnd One of my local stores needed to get rid of excess stock after Christmas.
This guy is fantastic, easily the best of the commanders if you ask me. Siege had tons of good figures but out of all of them this guy is my favourite, he has such a presence on a shelf.
I agree with everything you just said. Absolutely. He is the best of the Commanders, and my favorite of Siege, which had a ton of absolute stunners.
Skyfire looks amazing almost perfect to me, definitly getting this guy when I can afford him
Hope you can find one when that time comes. It was always hard to get a hold of even when it should have been on shelves.
7 left on amazon... idk if they restock or not
welp, you convinced me to get this guy... eventually, eitheir when he gets a reissue or I can find a cheaper KO version, cause I've seen the price he goes for and the 250 euros he goes for is unreasonable even for a commander class (who usually go for 110 where I'm from)
This boi has been reissued like twice now. Hopefully they do a third one. And yes a Ko is comming. Though I think it might already be out.
@@PerspectiveEnd good to know. commander class really seems like a big step up from leader but so far alot of them don't interest me or have 1 flaw (Magnus's thighs being restricted) that keep me away from them
Finally, an intro of why Jetfire and Skyfire are different and not the same. Thank God for you P.E.
I'm stoked to hear that I conviced you to grab this awesome thing. It's so much fun.
@@PerspectiveEnd You talked about the plastic used for the shoulders.
Saved up to get this guy by this review! Super excited!
Oh really? Nice. I expect that you will enjoy it quite a bit.
@@PerspectiveEnd As a fellow Siege > ER advocate I feel like your high praises are worth taking. Plus, he just looks awesome. And big!!
The way how you briefly fanboyed around Skyfire is the same way how I fan boy over my first transformer toy (Movie Optimus) back on 2009 XD
Glad I could dredge up those memories for you.
The flipable insignia is the best part for me, really does a good job showing the duality of the character
I wouldn't really say the OG character had a Duality to him. He was only on the Con's side because he was tricked, and it only lasted like an afternoon.
So glad I was able to get this guy, definitely a good way to kick off commander class. Let's hope the future of the class can live up to this.

That statement was flipped on its head in the most hilarious way possible because of, well, y'know.
"They agree with me, THEY AGREE WITH ME"

That'd be weird if true considering they already made multiples of him the last few years.
@@PerspectiveEnd I’m perfectly fine with that, I love skywarp’s colors
This guy is getting a reissue in January 2023, one of the best figures Hasbro has ever made
Indeed it is, and I'm happy for all the people getting a fresh chance at him.
@@PerspectiveEnd Are you going to be picking up the Skyfire MP that comes out in February? It's fairly expensive but as far as MPs go, 270 aint that bad
I love the history lesson on jetfire I also want this a ton
Happy to educate you.
@@PerspectiveEnd lol
Just got the reissue. I fucking love this shit.
Oh? It's out now! Excellent! I'm glad you are so happy with it.
@@PerspectiveEnd and not yellowed, too!
Man, seeing you doing a review on this figure made it look easy, then I did my review, and while I do like the figure, it was really hard to film because of how big he is
Oh believe me it SUCKED working on this, having to reach my arms so much for everything was exhausting, and getting what I needed in frame was a PAIN.
In addition with that harmony gold statement, yet it was that and also the fact that takara couldn't sell the toy so even internally hasbro was compelled to change the toy so thst both of them could profit
That intro is just so informative!🤔
Glad to hear it, I was worried it'd bore people.
@@PerspectiveEnd nah your style doesn't makes anything in your videos boring!
Pre-order the re-issue of this figure a couple days ago can’t wait to get it
I'm so glad they are doing that for all the people who never got a chance.
When I got this it made me so excited for the future of commander class because it’s so amazingly good
It was a very nice reminder for me to never get too hopeful with hasbro
Yeah it was kind of a Down Hill Slide after this. Skylynx is awesome but with bad QC, and Rodimus is... Rodimus...
@@PerspectiveEnd happy you made this review though, about a week ago I was contemplating requesting it
@@SamHesitation Nice. Glad I beat you to it.
acquired recently the KO oversized one (not sure how much bigger he is, he might be MP scale)
and yeah, apqrt from a few joint tolerances that are wonky, some tabs (mainly the wheels and the chest pieces) that are eitheir too tight or don't hold well (the one for the hands). it's a pretty interesting bot.
also mine has diecast feets and apqrently some gaps fillers.
@@PerspectiveEnd It surprised me too.
That's how good he is, he requires some other FANTASTIC figure to be your favorite to lose.
The fire in the week
Great video 👌👍🤙🤟✌👏🇲🇽⭐
That's an interesting suggestion.
If I was to crap on the concept of light piping... I would have to have chipotle for breakfast lunch and dinner.
That's a great quote. Thank you.
Because of what you said about your childhood head canon, I may add Skyfire into my transformers fan fic as a new Autobot Titan.
Feel free. I always loved the idea that Skyfire wasn't just a bit larger than normal.
Skyfire just sounds better in general
I think so too.
After my house burnt down about a month ago and with my leftover insurance I bought this
I'm so sorry about your house. I don't know that a Skyfire is a worth while recompense.
@@PerspectiveEnd he’s something I’m only getting with a little of my money
The extra armour is a reference to the IDW comics
I don't remember him ever looking like that in IDW?
My series jetfire is gonna be a former seeker like revenge of the fallen (don’t worry that’s the only inspiration from that version he’s not gonna be hunchbacked or anything) he and starscream both tried to takeout megatron because they both agreed he didn’t have a lot of the cons best interests at heart, however he found out starscreams plan for them gaining leadership would sacrifice lives in the process, megatron found out about this plan and tried to execute both of them but the autobots saved jetfire, though afterwords jetfire was teleported to earth in the ice age and was thawed out either but human researchers or global warming
Well seeker implies that he has the Starscream body type, as seeker isn't just a Decepticon jetformer.
i like to look at the name mind-frickery like this: he was called skyfire before he crashed on earth, and then later changed it to jetfire later on when he joined the autobots
I don't like doing that, because Jetfire is a name so associated with Armada, it's it's own dude.
I can’t wait for the “what’s the best: Jetfire/Skyfire” video.
It comes but maybe a little later than people think.
Yep picked up the reissue at Comic-Con is an absolute beast and he doesn't seem to have any of the battle damage from the original
So how do you like the figure without the Battle damage?
@PerspectiveEnd some of the figures don't look too bad with the battle damage . Depending on their colour scheme I think jet fire looks better without it
I feel like in the modern day just to crap on whats left of harmony gold hasbro likes to sneek in valkry esk componets for thier jetfire/skyfire toys
When Commander Class was amazing
Indeed it was.
Thank you I'm glad I wasn't the only one who saw skyfire and jetfire as different characters.
Not a fan of movie verse that thrust looking good though then again I'm a sucker for that green
The movie version of Jetfire is practically them trying to insult the character.
Im pretty sure they’re just called wing flaps
I just looked it up, and apparently they are called ailerons.
@@PerspectiveEnd oh, neat
A 4 foot Fortress Maximus? That is compensating for something. Also, love the Seige skyfire
Yeah, it will be impressive, but I don't see how that's going to be enjoyable to handle in any way.

I just ordered one of these from ebay for 100 bucks which isnt that bad on the secondary market and i absolutely cant wait to get my hands on him!
Man I'm sorry to hear that, I don't mean to poop on your parade, but had you not heard they are re-releasing him soon?
I'm also happy for you but sorry for the extra 20 you lost.
just got him today, honestly surprised for this price point how much they used to pack with him. I mean he is my biggest figure now and yet has all this other stuff with him
I'm glad to hear you are so pleased with it.
*slaps the alt-mode
this bad boy can fit so much fucking autobot in it
I forgot that meme existed. That was a Good one.
This figure was my Second siege, figure
First, being siege, Optimus
Those are two great firsts.
Based on all the images I've ever seen of it, it seemed about the same size as normal gundams.
danger zone from top gun increasses
I don't know this guy is much of a Fighter Jet.
I really love skyfire’s charcter in G1, but in siege, he just felt like that’s he HAD to be in there.
How do you mean?
@@PerspectiveEnd He means Skyfire/Jetfire is just there for the sake of it not for understandable reason.
@@devilishprime1987 I took the exact opposite meaning. Like the show would be incomplete without him,

@@PerspectiveEnd yeah
I want to see them recolor this into jetstorm. I know he looks nothing like beast machines jetstorm, but they share a body design in animated
When it comes to my version of this character. It's like he has 2 sparks. Giving him 2 personalities. Skyfire (the show character) the scientist and jetfire the warior. Jetfire is a little unhinged and will attack his own team if it means his agenda is filled
Or you could just reconcile it as them being two different characters.
@@PerspectiveEnd that too.
He didn't carry prime, but he did Carry, Bumblebee, Brawn, Ironhide, and I think the last one was Jazz but I could be wrong about that.
I'm hoping to get him or his Shattered Glass version from Comic-Con end of October in London
Best of luck, I think if you can find one you will love it.
9:08 Eeexcuse me while I just ruin this for everyone. Achem...
*_Fortshite glider._*
Ahh, I kind of get it.
My head cannon for his name is that he doesn't care enough to correct anyone so he just rolls with both because he has more important things to do
The thing is Jetfire is really only Associated with the UT Guy, and Skyfire is Associated with this guy. And they are not the same dude.
He's definitely second for me being Beat by galvatron
Happy to hear that. I love this figure my self.
Just got the shattered glass version and it’s just magnificent, love the gimmicks on it. Also I saw a rodimus prime for $70 and I was wondering if you think that’s a good price?
That's a pretty good price, I usually recommended people grab that for 65 if they can, so 70 is reasonable.
Idk if they will again, but this past year, Amazon had it on sale for a bit for only $45. If the deal isn't going away any time soon, it might be worth keeping an eye on those sites or even mercari/eBay as that sale led to people selling the figure a lot cheaper due to reduced demand.
If you were to make an new incarnation of skyfire how would you write him, both in backstory and personality
Personally I'd keep him the same, if it's supposed to be a new incarnation of the same dude. Weirdly large over built scientist, who accidentally missed out on the whole war and has to come to terms with discovering it happened in his absence.
And The shattered glass painted The eyes
A correct decision on their behalf.
9:25 those are called wing flaps, they're used in order to slow down planes when they are getting ready to land or take off or just reduce the wind being blown at them.
Wing flaps are different. These are apparently called Ailerons, and they are what steers the plane up and down.
@@PerspectiveEnd Ahhh, I knew I may have gotten it mixed up, I should have known.
Jetfire’s big rifle vaguely reminds of the twin buster rifle from gundam wing
The head platform can actually shift down so he can look downward (looks much better than when seige megatron does it) also his arm mounted canons can split into shields and double barrelled guns
WHAT IS THIS MADNESS AND HOW HAVE I NEVER NOTICED IT BEFORE!!!
The head took some force but not so much that I shouldn't have noticed this before. but the arm cannon, Yeah that wasn't easy to separate.
This is my mp skyfire, he fits in really good

Still a good name for a week of vids
Edit: love the new background and new lense
Thank you. And unfortunately I forgot to continue the bit in today's episode... I am a failure.
@@PerspectiveEnd hey, you're human just like us, we all make mistakes, big deal, you still have awesome videos
Wait they have cameras in their heads that aren't eyes? Thas weird.
@@PerspectiveEnd Well it's never been confirmed for Transformers, it's just leftover DNA/ references in the toys to other Japanese mecha. Kind of fitting, as both the original Optimus and Jetfire toys were mechs being piloted by smaller beings.
