It was an interesting take on Jetfire being remolded into the Seekers That Flew Into a War of Combiners. But it kind of makes sense if you consider Starscream's and Jetfire's relations and how big fighter jets should be compared to cars. Of course, to most, they're 'oversized and inaccurate' compared to the Geewun Earthrise seekers.
The ER Seekers aren't even good. They are a bad update to the Classics mold. But yes this was an interesting take, I just wish the quality were better.
I got one of these for retail a few years ago and customized it quite a bit. Some black and red paint goes a long way towards the finish. I even took TR Octane's "chair gun" and shaved down the back to approximate Jetfire's gun. Incidentally, the hollow part of the arms are supposed to be pointing straight down in jet mode to let you plug the arm guns into them. There's even two little divots in the arm so the guns don't wiggle, one straight for robot mode, and one at a slight angle for jet mode.
I loved the old Generations toyline. The IDW/Videogame/stylized G1 toys were (and still are) my absolute favorite. This figure had its ups and downs (mostly downs) but I just love the look of this figure and I might actually get this figure if I get the chance one day. What’s wild is that this figure is the very first leader class in the generations line. Especially the one to be labeled “leader class” and not ultra class. Look I know I’m commenting on a 6 month old video, but I really like more the look of this Jetfire than the siege figure. I’m planning on getting the Legends version to get rid of the horrid chrome paint and because there’s some actual paint on the legs. Great review as always.
Thank you very much, and if I wasn't so behind on comments, it would matter how old the video was, I'd see you commenting on it. It's fine if you prefer this, I will say that is not anywhere near of the same quality though.
I didn't mention it in the video but I actually love the Chrome. Staring at it, makes my lizard brain happy. I do think this looks cool, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't prefer the Siege's accurate look.
Thrilling 30 was so weird. I'm glad we've got the siege one now, for sure the best looking if you want g1 skyfire and I think classics just does the armored up look better than this, despite the small size
@@PerspectiveEnd I have classics jetfire/skyfire and his head is so tiny, so I always leave his helmet on to make it look normal even with it’s wonky Proportions
The return of the king ( man these videos are great and it's clearly seen the amount of erfort put into making them and that's greatly appreciated, but if you need a break dude than take it)
I respect you're opinion it truly is a nice figure but for me my personal preference would be Siege. (Hope I don't sound like a jerk I'm just giving my piece of mind also lol!)
And what makes you say that, because I'd argue that it's not accurate nearly at all if you are going for G1, and the materials here are so frustratingly... Ain't it Chief. So yeah, how does this Surpass the Siege?
Yes. Originally when Jetfire was set to Appear in G1, HarmonyGold the company that owned the rights to the Macross Saga, threatened to sue Hasbro(With no legal right to do so) so hasbro changed the appearance of Jetfire in the show. FOR SOME INEXPLICABLE REASON, HarmonyGold Threatened to sue them again even though they changed jetfire's Appearance if they didn't change his name too. A name Hasbro came up with, and never Resembled anything HarmonGold had the rights to. No one has any clue why HarmonyGold wanted the name changed. So in G1 Jetfire became Skyfire. All subsequent characters have been named Jetfire, but they almost never tend to be like the G1 Character, They Almost never look like him, they almost never have his backstory, and they almost never act like him. So I use the name Skyfire to refer to the G1 Character because he's unique like that.
Oh yeah. No one knows what they Hell Harmony Gold was pulling, but they finally lost the Lawsuit like a year before this figure came out. That's right it' was like a 30 year running lawsuit.
Actually might get the Jurassic Crossover looks interesting and looks like we were somewhat correct instead of either a car or dino we get both. Also I picked up the Netflix black Ironhide while it is a non character and the quintesson emblem is silly the black and silver looks so good on it in person. I wouldn't say it's a must buy I'm just saying if you like siege Ironhide mold you will enjoy the black Ironhide. Yes I call it black Ironhide because the Netflix story and calling it a army drone imo hurts this good repaint that I'm kinda surprised it isn't a selects figure.
I hope the T-Rex will be made out of some sterner stuff. I don't really need another version of that mold without a new head. I have the Ironhide, I have the Ratchet, and I have my Wheeljack, and I'm happy with them.
Glad to hear it, and I'm shocked I thought for sure you weren't going to use that one, I was positive you wanted something with a little more urgency but I did one without it just to cover my bases.
I like to think that this is from an alt timeline where jetfire/skyfire woke up in Macross's version of earth and scanned a Veritech Fighter for his alt mode
I remember coming across the Kmart exclusive, I often kick myself in the head for not picking it up. I don’t know why I’m just so in love with this figure, I think it’s just the fact that it reminds me of old figures from the 80s and 90s. Now this figure is ridiculously expensive. Amazon is asking $124 plus tax for it.
"you can force the backpack back, to gain a bit of that back though." Why is the sentence so interesting to me, especially in your sped up voice? Like I just listened to that single line about 5 times, for..... reasons. Nope I don't get why I think that is the most epic sentence ever sentenced at 125% speed.
@@PerspectiveEnd yeah, this guy's got nothing execpt accesories, size and a cool alt mode/reimagined character. def gonna stick with trying to get that siege commander one.
I had no idea the wrists were locked like that or that it felt cheap in hand. I love that it references the old Macross toy, pity that it falls so short. I voted for love it, but I totally understand your criticisms.
Yeah, if they just addressed some of the issues it could have been fine. Like if the Materials weren't so flimsy feeling, or it had better potability it could have been OK, but they just didn't put the effort in on this one.
Actually mine doesn't come undone on the shoulder once I tab the shoulder clip to the wing. It is solid as I move the arm. The legs shake a bit if I do what you do. If I don't do it he stands fine. And the leg doesn't come apart at the hip when I move the leg up sideways. The red paint at his booster pack flaked a bit but it is good for the most part. Despite it is almost 10 years old. He may have its flaws but I like him. Got him for 39.99 at kmart back in 2014.
Here from the distant future of TWO THOUSAND AND TWENTY FOUR saying thanks for this review! For obvious reasons, it's tough to find modern reviews of old figures, so this is real stroke of luck for me, although for me this is less about "Should I buy this?" than it is about having realistic expectations about its quality when I do. But yeah, I think you should review whatever you feel like, regardless of era. Sometimes it's neat to just look into the past and compare.
Ya know I just thought of something, I wonder how this guy would work as a “legends class” Jetfire to go along with Kingdom Prime, Soundwave, and that bunch
It’s crazy to think of an old leader class feeling cheap compared to a modern leader lmao. I guess that’s a compliment to ol Grimmy boy, that tough ol bot.
Ahhh, yesss...this abominamation. Can't believe TH-cam dug into your vault for this one. 😏😏😏 I don't know if you ever reviewed it, but there WAS another one before the Generations Leader class: Classics Voyager class Jetfire. Instead of a mask like the Generations Leader, Siege Commander, and even MP57 all went with, this apparently has an entire ass _helmet_ for the Valkyrie/Veritech head homage, that doubles as a gun turret on the underside of the jet. And instead of retooling it into shitty Seekers (the Leader class Seekers during Combiner Wars were straight up ASS. I'm not surprised that we never got Sunstorm or Acidstorm repaints, or Conehead retools), the Voyager was repainted to hell and back: the Blue Angels themed Treadshot (or Treadbolt, I can't remember which was which), the gorgeous Takara exclusive Henkei Dark Skyfire (a predominantly black affair that no doubt inspired the Shattered Glass Jetfire, right down to the green windows), a more show accurate but hellishly weird Japanese convention exclusive repaint that's got BOTH faction symbols on him...etc. But, just like the Leader, it doesn't really scale well with anything at all...maybe the Deluxe class Seeker mold in robot mode, but even that is a stretch, I think Starscream barely even came up to Skyfire's nuts in the cartoon. Oh! Legends sized stuff. The Magic Square & NewAge Skyfire offerings are about Voyager sized, but Legends scaled, and there's an oversized KO of Iron Factory's Skyfire offering that's Voyager sized. The Classics hits the right blend of looks (not as accurate as MS & NA, but better than IF KO) and price (a bit more expensive than IF KO, but at the low end, it's only a third the price of NA & MS).
Abomination? I don't think it's that bad. Yeah, ok that thing, I have seen, and I hate. I don't know man, they were based off this thing, and yeah they fauxform to hell and they don't look quite right, but I don't think they are all that bad. Scaling was an issue I suppose that's true.
The mask somewhat reminds me of Soundwave in a way. Because of how little this resembles Jetfire, you could probably repaint this dude to look like soundwave, with the faux cockpit doubling as a storage point for a casette like Laserbeak or something. Yes, I really like Soundwave, considering I'm always bringing him up when I comment.
Skyfire is supposed to be twice the size of the next tallest person. He's supposed to be a giant, that's why I call big figures, Skybiners because Skylynx and Skyfire were both giants.
Nice. That will be the Birthday of the Channel as well. I hope you can get one, they are a little out of stock everywhere at the moment, I think just about the only place you can find one is on Ebay.
@@PerspectiveEnd Thanks! I hope I find one I REALLLYYY want one. I'm gonna work off some money at some families house so I can get CW Devestator off of BBTS hopefully! My birthday is August 5th 3 days before the channel!
@@PerspectiveEnd I understand Jetfire is supposed to tower over other transformers like a monolith, and while he looks good with old Leaders and even some Masterpieces putting the Commander alongside my other Voyagers and Deluxes, I can’t help but think he’s too big.
Funny. My last Takara figure was a Floppy Floppy mess. So they can take a good hasbro mold and ruin the tolerances, and take a bad hasbro mold and fix them. I didn't know Takara came from the Bizzarro dimension.
So I've heard. Disappointing. At least there's going to be that Deformation Space Starscream. Hopefully that will finally do the stuff every other version of this should have done for years.
I'm sure this is biased purely by childhood nostalgia, but my fave Jetfire mold is actually the Classics Jetfire from over a decade ago, so I actually don't mind seeing the helmet or the giant thrusters on his back.
I always had a headcanon in my mind. Jetfire and Sky fire are two different characters. I always liked to think that Jetfire was the mysterious 6th member of the Aerialbots much like how the constructions had Hauler and the other guy.
@@PerspectiveEnd in the Early UK Comics, they had Jetfire as the leader of the Autobots, as they could not yet bring Optimus in stores (don't remember why). So I like to view Jetfire as Prime's predecessor.
My bad, it was actually a European comic, since another european toy company named Joustra had the license for Optimus Prime's toy, so they couldn't advertise him yet for legal reasons.
That Angry Birds figure is actually a telepod, it has a QR code on the bottom and if you use a telepod base to scan the telepod, you can get Deceptihog Thundercracker in the Angry Birds transformers game.
He does have some hollowness. The copy you have is likely loose from play. I don't have any loose joints. This figure was the giant "fuck you" Hasbro released after finally nailing HarmonyGold to a wall in court over rights of use, so it has a special place in my heart.
@@PerspectiveEnd Oh. That's some bad luck. I own two. One as Sky Fire, and the other is reprolabeled as Valkyrie Fighter. If or when I can afford to get a Commander Sky Fire, the previous Sky Fire is getting reprolabeled as a Sky Striker[GI Joe jet].
I believe some of the intentional inaccuracy in the Jetfire figures are due to Hasbro trying not to get sued again over something that happened back in the 80's since the original figure of the G1 Jetfire was being used by Takara technically illegally that caused Hasbro to be wrapped up in a legal battle that they barely were able to get out of only because the company that owned the mold of the G1 Jetfire was doing something similar to what they were accusing Hasbro of doing, which was why like about 15 years after G1 when Jetfire was brought back to the cartoons he was basically a jet like Cargo-plane.
Actually it wasn't Illegal, they had the Rights to the Jetfire toy, Harmony Gold had the rights to the Marcos Valkyrie in animation. And it's weird that those Leaches at Harmony Gold had a case at all when Hasbro started producing their own toys since it didn't look like their product at all.
@@PerspectiveEnd Ok I decided to look it up and yeah during G1 Hasbro did had the rights on the toy for Jetfire. Evidently the changes to him they made due to the awkwardness of not being able to sell his toy in Japan was still deemed too close to his his original counterpart so he was written out of the series. But Harmony Gold did tried suing Hasbro in 2013 over a Comic-Con release of a G.I. Joe crossover where the case was dropped
Glad I'm getting the Siege one (THANK YOU HASBRO AUG 2022 REISSUES), but I'll be honest, I still wanna get this one down the line. I know he's....not the best, but he still scratches many itches the Siege one isn't going to. Never been a nut for accuracy, so I kinda like the proportions (on the upper half, at least. Legs are too skinny) on this one, he's a Leader (Siege sometimes seems a tad too big), and he's more Valkyrie looking, even has the best mask of the three CHUG Jetfires even though he NEEDS a lot of work to look and feel remotely good. And he doesn't match the Classics/Henkei alt mode, which scratches my Valkyrie jet itch the most....at the expense of the aged AF robot. However, if the next or a later GI Joe Collaborative is basically revisiting the Jetfire Skystriker from 2013 (aka the Harmony Gold lawsuit killer) into a Leader figure of the same size as this, AND it does the Valkyrie look so much better, I'll go for that instead. And I hope they do!
@@PerspectiveEnd indeed. I'll only get this one IF we don't get a more Valkyrie-like Jetfire that's Leader and better than this. Perhaps taking that magical 2013 Jetfire Skystriker that finally killed Harmony Gold's power for good for the next G.I. Joe Collaborative and making it fully transform? Please Hasbro?
@@reyonXIII Not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for, but I gave this figure a more Valkyrie/ G1 Jetfire style custom look. Just made a video of it if your curious. 👍
I think 98% of the fandom can all agree that the siege jetfire is the best jetfire This generation mold is best until the siege comes out and take the spot
Yeah, it's funny how this used to be THE MOLD, and then the Siege came along, and made it so the only reason you'd want this is because it's inaccurate.
You know, i liked this scale compared to the siege, it's just, weird that jetfire is the same size as combiners, even though this jetfire is smaller than the new SS86 magnus, it scale well with other figures like ER/SS86 starscream
I wish legacy can do a figure off of this design, I like the design better than the skyfire animation model because when I think of jetfire, I think of a cool warrior with a hobby of science, and not some douche who managed to get trapped into ice
I’m so happy ebgames finally added the siege Jetfire to its transformers selection. I’ve been waiting for a good and affordable way to get him and hoping to see him in store cause there doesn’t seem to be website exclusive on the page and more expensive things linger for a bit longer than the deluxe and voyager figures. My local store still has siege shockwaves on the shelf

I got Generations Jetfire first, and it is the reason I didn't get Siege Jetfire 3 years ago. Though I do like Generations Jetfire, it makes me really sorry I made that choice.
@@PerspectiveEnd Well, if I really want him, I’ll have to get him for 1.5x the price now. This is what I get for thinking that 80 dollars for was too much for this figure lol. This guy did get restocked on Hasbropulse before, though, so there is a possibility that it may happen again, though probably not.
@@PerspectiveEnd Hey dude, have you heard that Siege Jetfire is getting restocked? Now I'm going to have both the regular and the Shattered Glass version lol. I'm going to use the SG version while he's a Decepticon and the Siege version when he's an Autobot. And he's going to be Skyfire, while Generations Jetfire is going to remain Jetfire who was always an Autobot and a separate character altogether.

If I recall correctly, this was the first new-mold leader made for Generations. He has a great design, it's just a shame about the way the actual quality of the figure, as T30 was a heck of a mixed bag. The Legends were perfect, the Voyagers were some of the best figures to ever grace the class (and also Blitzwing), if a little tall, while the Deluxes were undersized and often underwhelming representations of amazing designs. And the lone Leader of the bunch... really could've done with better quality. In many ways, T30 was Hasbro starting to move past the pit that was Fall of Cybertron. It's very apparent that whatever went wrong with FoC was still present for T30, and they were still recovering from it. Shame some of the figures suffered for it, I'd love to see a T30 that's given a do-over and brought up to modern standards. Same characters, same designs, better execution and maybe some reallocated size classes (Stealth Bomber Megs needs to be at least a Voyager).
i got the legends version of this figure (only difference is there is zero tacky chrome and the autobot symbol is visible) and yeah its not great but its fun (to me) its hollow as the person's skull who designed it but its not shit to handle (although mine has some fucking intense ratchets) and for me at least i believe it scales with chug figures (in my mind grimlock and jetfire were roughly the same height both being big as fuck due to them transforming into big alt modes) and i personally say i feel like i spent the right amount for him (i spent roughly $10 extra of what a voyager costs here in australia which is $49)
@@PerspectiveEnd Well, it may be more than 2 secs unlike Earthrise. But yeah, we already have Descepticons, Predacons and Evil Ultra Magnus. We don't need another villain.
I don't know that I can get behind that dude. It's a bit of a Dinosaur by this point. It's fine if that's your favorite, but "Best", I mean that would mean it would have to have less wonk proportions and better posting at the very least.
Here’s a fun fact there are these types of squares called alien squids that are really tall and we don’t know what the adults look like…and the young ones are taller than a human…and elephants and possibly a giraffes too so yeah this is my reason why I really wanna see a transformer of an alien squid

I have this very same figure and it isnt rattle-ly or loos and it surely doesn’t come apart. It stands on my living room mantle with Combiner Wars G2 Superion. G2 Superion is ratttle-ly and cannot stand on his own, however Generations Jetfire is so stiff it takes a little bit of effort to pose. I’ve never seen one as loose as the one in this video before. Maybe it’s because I’ve only transformed it a total of maybe 5 times since I bought it from Target about 10 years ago. I guess that means if you buy this figure used, be very careful, or don't buy it.

I feel like the Seeker retools were the worst ones to get. At least this one looks unique with it's helmet, and I think the mold isn't a lost cause. Like give it a better set of materials, and improve the posing, and this could have been solid.
I was considering buying this mold as seekers because surprisingly you can find all 3 of them on aliexpress pretty easily. That or mp11 KOs, both seem not great. Also his jet mode is supposed to be f14 I think
It does bear some resemblance to the F14. They are all very similar looking planes though. All I can say to this in the seekers, is I see even less point in those. This at least has the cool helmet, and the giant rocket booster letting you do use his as a different character. Those are kind of locked in, and can't do that, while they should also be suffering from this things other flaws. I don't think they would be a great choice.
JIBSIW (Jetfire is black, Skyfire is white) u know, as a reference to RIBFIR. also the way I see it, Jetfire and Skyfire are 2 separate characters like Jetfire is based on the rotf version and Skyfire is based on the G1 version

And what makes you say that, because I'd argue that it's not accurate nearly at all if you are going for G1, and the materials here are so frustratingly... Ain't it Chief.
So yeah, how does this Surpass the Siege?
What is the difference between there being a “jetfire” and a “skyfire”. Does he sometimes have a name change?
Also, thanks for the shoutout!
@@PerspectiveEnd wow, that is one heck of a dumb lawsuit.
Oh yeah. No one knows what they Hell Harmony Gold was pulling, but they finally lost the Lawsuit like a year before this figure came out.
That's right it' was like a 30 year running lawsuit.

What about Crosshairs?

What *about* Crosshairs?
I was so close to buying the repaint of this guy they released as starscream for around 15 dollars.
Regret not buying, seeing the resale value
15 bucks would have been a solid price to pay.
@@PerspectiveEnd but it was the starscream repaint which was regarded as a bad figure
I would say that it's the lesser version of the mold. At least this looks interesting.
T
Hanks for that Wheeljack voice. The last one was exactly what I needed
Glad to hear it, and I'm shocked I thought for sure you weren't going to use that one, I was positive you wanted something with a little more urgency but I did one without it just to cover my bases.
So glad we got Siege Jetfire
Yeah, it really kind of Erased the purpose of this.
Like I just listened to that single line about 5 times, for..... reasons. Nope I don't get why I think that is the most epic sentence ever sentenced at 125% speed.
really cool alt mode and I love how he tries to look but yeah, even for a deluxe he'd be disapointing.
You mean he'd be Disappointing if he was a deluxe?
I wonder what the next review will be about, SS Jetfire, RotF Jetfire, or a full review on Siege Skyfire.
Well let me tell you, it's not going to be Studio Series, or Revenge of the fallen. Come on. You know me.
Interesting. Good to know at least some versions of this hold together a little better.
Yk, there was a brief period of time that I actually wanted to get this figure just because he looks cool.
That's really the only reason to want this. It does look cool that's for sure.
It’s crazy to think of an old leader class feeling cheap compared to a modern leader lmao. I guess that’s a compliment to ol Grimmy boy, that tough ol bot.
Yeah Grimlock might be the best feeling Leader of all time. Hard to say though.
I mean who doesn't love Soundwave? Soundwave is awesome. And yes this could really make sense as a Soundwave.
Always love when a new video comes up!
Glad you feel that way.
This is the jetfire I have in my CHUG display. The siege is better by miles but it’s just way too big for jetfire. I also love the stylised jet mode
Skyfire is supposed to be twice the size of the next tallest person. He's supposed to be a giant, that's why I call big figures, Skybiners because Skylynx and Skyfire were both giants.
Nice! I am trying to get Siege Jetfire/Skyfire for my birthday haha! My birthday is coming up in August 😏. Haha!
Nice. That will be the Birthday of the Channel as well. I hope you can get one, they are a little out of stock everywhere at the moment, I think just about the only place you can find one is on Ebay.

I actually want this because I prefer how it scales to my other figures. At least until someone makes a KO Siege Jetfire at leader scale
Are all your figures Legends scale or something?
@@PerspectiveEnd I understand Jetfire is supposed to tower over other transformers like a monolith, and while he looks good with old Leaders and even some Masterpieces putting the Commander alongside my other Voyagers and Deluxes, I can’t help but think he’s too big.
@@kylelangdon6724 That's fair I suppose. Besides only one version of him has ever really been intended to be that big.
I liked the Thrilling 30s figures but they really do look out of place now with the war for cybertron.
I'm less worried about how they look and more that this one doesn't feel good. The look is honestly the best part of this guy.
I had the takara version of this Jetfire. I got it used but it was really durable and stayed togerher perfectly
Funny. My last Takara figure was a Floppy Floppy mess. So they can take a good hasbro mold and ruin the tolerances, and take a bad hasbro mold and fix them.
I didn't know Takara came from the Bizzarro dimension.
I had one of these and the leg snapped off at the hip lol
That does sound like this plastic quality.
@PerspectiveEnd you were right about the cockpit on Mp starscream there is a absolutely needless foeforming part there
So I've heard. Disappointing. At least there's going to be that Deformation Space Starscream. Hopefully that will finally do the stuff every other version of this should have done for years.
@@PerspectiveEnd yeh that thing looks awsome
I'm sure this is biased purely by childhood nostalgia, but my fave Jetfire mold is actually the Classics Jetfire from over a decade ago, so I actually don't mind seeing the helmet or the giant thrusters on his back.
I mean who minds the helmet. Helmet's cool, and you don't have to use it. And there is nothing that beats toys from your childhood.
God damn it, I for got to ask for a shout out to celebrate another year. Fuck me. Well, there's July...
I mean the 2 year anniversary isn't here yet.
I always had a headcanon in my mind. Jetfire and Sky fire are two different characters. I always liked to think that Jetfire was the mysterious 6th member of the Aerialbots much like how the constructions had Hauler and the other guy.
I've also always considered them different. Skyfire was the scientist who was frozen before the war, Jetfire, is literally everyone else.
It was kind of the same reason Jetfire had to have his look and his name changed. Someone else had the rights to the Optimus toy in Europe.
Yeah that.
That Angry Birds figure is actually a telepod, it has a QR code on the bottom and if you use a telepod base to scan the telepod, you can get Deceptihog Thundercracker in the Angry Birds transformers game.
Yeah I knew that, I think I threw away the telepod thing. But in general I don't remember what happened to that.
Jetfire was always one of my favourite transformers
Same. He's unique, and cool... And big. Which is important to small children, which I was when I found out about him.
This week Is Gonna Be Like You opening up Birthday presents.
Presents to my self, and presents to everyone else.
@@PerspectiveEnd Yee
He does have some hollowness. The copy you have is likely loose from play. I don't have any loose joints. This figure was the giant "fuck you" Hasbro released after finally nailing HarmonyGold to a wall in court over rights of use, so it has a special place in my heart.
Mine was new in box when I got it.
He's got some really cool qualities all his own, but the Commander Kicks the Crap out of this.
I think 98% of the fandom can all agree that the siege jetfire is the best jetfire
This generation mold is best until the siege comes out and take the spot
Yeah, it's funny how this used to be THE MOLD, and then the Siege came along, and made it so the only reason you'd want this is because it's inaccurate.
I prefer the Seeker version of this mold.
I love the Warp & TC figures I own. :)
I personally find those to be a lot less compelling than this. The look of them is a lot less interesting and unique.
Wasn’t expecting this but I’m guessing we’ll have a whats the best Jetfire next week.
Perhaps yes.
I don't see that happening, but I get why you'd prefer this, though the G1 Skyfire is my preferred design.

Skyfire Squadron
Air Force Jetfire
Skyjets
Those all could function.
Well who would each member be remolded out of, cause they don't have traditional Altmodes?
I don't think Hasbro could get away with making a figure that literally turns into a torture chair.
@@PerspectiveEnd tarn, could be a remold of Titans return blitzwing or any other tankformer
Helex does not even really have an alt mode so you just need a big and bulky figure for him
Vos could be a micro masters
Kaon well all you need to do for him is take a tall deluxe and form him into a chair
The rest you have to decide
I got Generations Jetfire first, and it is the reason I didn't get Siege Jetfire 3 years ago. Though I do like Generations Jetfire, it makes me really sorry I made that choice.
Oh man I'm sorry about that, you missed out on a great Jetfire update. Sorry that isn't really trying to Assuage your disappointment.
I also bought this after the siege figure just so I could custom paint it to look more like a macross valkyrie
I mean like I said, the reason to want this is not because it looks like Skyfire anymore, so that makes total sense.
And is your's of roughly equivalent quality to mine?

I do not own any Jetfire figures In my collection but this would probably be 1 of the 2 I would pick to put in my collection in the near future
I assume the other would be the Siege?
@@PerspectiveEnd you good sir are correct and let's be honest the prototype image of the masterpiece Jetfire that was revealed looked more like some titan oc gone wrong than an official transformer figure
What is a Titan Original Character?
And yes it looks awful.
@@PerspectiveEnd yeah exactly and mp Jetfire is a titan oc gone wrong
@@samsarex4318 What is Titan?
I remember when I got mine, Toys R Us was clearing them out for $29cnd so what? $3.50usd lol. But he was my placeholder till I got the Siege one.
Yeah. I heard about that thing in Canada where they mistakenly were selling these for 30 bucks from Vangelus. I spent more than double that to get this.
I guess Canadian Toy's R' Us's realized that this was totally a stretched out Voyager, and charged accordingly.
@@PerspectiveEnd my Toys R Us was the dumping ground for clearance for years, we even got a full aisle for that 20th anniversary Unicron which were cleared out at $39. Was insane but after renovations we became a bigger store so clearance was shipped out if not bought fast.
YEAH WEEK OF SKYFIRE, yes its SKYFIRE
It's not Jetfire! That's a completely different dude!
I own the CW Skywarp remold and it’s just… I like the weapons that comes with the figure. The jet mode is big and smooth. Honestly this mold is very meh.
What's funny is my very next video goes into detail on that exact subject.
I kinda want one or two of those angry birds figures, the game is really good
This is MADNESS!!!
@@PerspectiveEnd No. THIS. IS. SPARTA!
