Yeah, the Earthrise toyline section of the WFC trilogy was decent. It had a interesting roster of characters. But should have been made better and lasted longer. -The distribution sucked, with these exclusives and store retell quantity.
Completely agree with you man, a completely mixed bag of a line. The seekers were probably my biggest disappointment out of the whole thing, though I’m happy we got new Grapple and Hoist figures. Those two were the best thing to come out of earthrise.
I think earthrise is like the weird middle sibling of the war for Cybertron trio, siege was awesome, kingdom was great with the beast wars figures and the fossilisers were kinda cool, but i feel like earthrise was trying too hard to meet the standards that siege set and QC kinda got thrown out the window. See I feel like it wasn't trying hard enough. I feel like ER felt like it could rest on it's laurels because it was G1 and that's all it needed to be. So QC and engineering could go down the Drain people will still buy it.
I had received Wheeljack as an early Christmas presents, one of those that you can’t open until the actual Christmas Day so you have to only stare at them for like two weeks. And when the day finally came I was so excited to open him and mess with it, but his leg windshield pieces were both the left one, so he couldn’t transform well. I tried reaching out with Hasbro but they told me to see it with the store i bought him and after some talk with the manager they got the faulty Wheeljack and I was able to grab another one free from the store. Unfortunately everyone had bought the other Wheeljacks in the store and the only Earthrise figures were Ironworks, Hoist and Cliffjumper, and I grabbed the Cliff. I know the figure isn’t perfect and I despise the Partsforming but thanks to that history I cannot bring myself to dislike it, he was some type of consolation price but I still like him a lot and will be forever one of the most important figures in my collection. If anyone read all of this, thank you for listening me :)
Man that story hurt my soul. Sorry to hear that you had to be taunted for so long by an incomplete figure. Honestly Hoist was probably the figure I would have gone with, and at least you got some payback, but my channel is like a Love Letter to Cliffjumper Abuse. So I think you probably know where I stand on it.
@@PerspectiveEnd oh, thank you for actually reading all of this :D. Yeah, maybe the Hoist was better but I never knew anything about the character and the figure didn’t interested me, while I actually knew Cliffjumper, have good memories of playing as him in Fall Of Cybertron and I actually really like both the modes on the figure, I just don’t like partsforming
lol I remember that episode. I also subscribed to you the day I saw it because your feelings towards Earthrise matched mine. Though my main complaint is that there are never enough Seige Ports. lol
These are my criticisms of my er figs Grapple: it’s ok Smokescreen: the gun broke in half and very hard to get out of hand Sun streaker: just wish it had an actual gun Wheel jack: it’s ok Double dealer: the legs suck Starscream: nose cone Airwaves: great Allicon: it’s ok
Thank you I was super proud of that, though the joke is a little sabotaged by the fact that I forgot to do the set up, where I noticed it had blast effect ports on the side.
He's got actual Earth Modes though. Like even the more Earthy looking Siege figures didn't go as far as directing recreating the details of actually existing vehicles, that was Earthrise's thing.
i really feel like the WFC figures have had WILDLY inconsistent quality. sometimes they have been bangers, sometimes they have been... well..shampoo bottle plastic dollar tree quality. this isn't even factoring the chaotic QC.
Honestly yeah. We started out amazingly with Siege, though that line did have some problems then transitioned into the inconsistent Earthrise then kingdom lines.
So 7 months in, I'm starting to fall under the spell of the design of Smokescreen/Barricade mold, and, with no hope of an evergreen-based Generations Barricade figure, I'm gravitating towards the Earthrise one. Except, of course, the issue of the plastic in general, especially the clear legs and KNEES. That still worries me like hellllllll. I know the Siege is sturdier, and has better colors, but I just can't shake the preference of that design out of my mind. And if I was gonna get only one of the ER Datsuns, it would be Barricade. Plus, I'm sitting on a good deal for the set for $32, though I still want to sell off P/CP to someone else. Really torn here, though leaning towards set on getting said set. What do you think?
I would say don't do it, I've heard many a story of that figure snapping in half. I don't wanna see you wasting your money on something that will break and disappoint you like the tollway world constructor disappoints me
When it comes to earthrise, if you want the best figure in the line, you’ve gotta learn to love some niche designs, completely unknown characters, and prime.
@@PerspectiveEnd if you want the best quality from earthrise, you need to learn to love some niche designs (skylynx, scorponok, ironworks, snapdragon (to an extent). Ok, that bit with CliffJumper getting hit by DoubleDealer’s rocket made me laugh. That was pretty funny. Also, great video and I really enjoyed the week of Big BOIS.
Thank you. I'm glad that part got you, I was real proud of that, though I did forget to bring up the fact that the rocket has 5mm ports on the side. And thank you. The Week of Big Bois was hard to make so I'm glad it went over so well.
Hey, I just discovered your channel and while I may not agree with a lot of what you say, I admire that you say what you think. A lot of reviewers backtrack or go with the common opinion but you don't, and I admire that.
Thank you very much. I am so fortunate to have found so many people who understand and respect views that are not their own. And you can rely on me to never just say what I think is going to be the popular thing. If I say the popular consensus great, if I don't great, I say what I say because I NEED to say it.
I don't think Earthrise in its entirety is meh, in fact I still think it's really good, it's just easily the weakest out of the 3, but siege and kingdom have been some of the best toylines in Transformers history. I honestly think if it had more of a chance with distribution and quality control, this line would be almost as good as the others, because a lot of the best and coolest figures were exclusives or had bad QC issues, and if those were fixed then really the only weak figures would be a slightly worse version of the best megatron, the alliconz and quintessons, which are harmless and weird figures, and Arcee, which at least has a good robot mode even if it's not that good overall.
I think even if this had Perfect QC and good Distribution it would still go down as the worst of the three because several of the figures are just Engineered badly, like ERcee, MERgatron, CliffjumpER. So it would still have some LOW points worse than any of the other 2 lines. Honestly stuff like The Alicon, ERcee, CliffjumpER, and Quinteson just feel incredibly lazy. The bare minimum they had to do to sell a figure of this thing. And better QC wouldn't change those. But that would really help make it a decent line.
The only ones I'm 100% keen on getting are Wheeljack, maybe Sunstreaker, Cliffjumper because he'll be a just decent substitute. I have Megatron, and though I hate the back panel that partsforms just to fill out the back and don't care for using the turret in robot mode, I think he's decent. And I think he looks great in a gun mode. But that is because it is a retool of Siege, which I'm getting.
@@PerspectiveEnd Cliffjumper because it is the closest thing I'll have to a Cliffjumper that doesn't cost $100 bucks. I don't like partsforming, and it looks NOTHING like G1, but it is at least a Cliffjumper. And there are ways to get Siege/Earthrise Megs into a gun mode. And the fan mode is my preferred alt mode for ER Megatron. I'll have the Siege be the tank once I get it.
Enjoyed the retrospective. On my copy of Sky Lynx to fix his QC's, I put some primer and gunmetal paint on the stubby base mode tabs to better keep it locked together, also helps keep his shuttle butt tabbed in. I've joined those that swear by it, and put some of the pledge floor polish on the wings, not directly on the mushroom peg, but where the wing and joint slide against each other for added friction, without stressing the peg. Much sturdier now than dry spaghetti noodle. And funny enough, his box art does show his mouth unhinged.
I really like the earthrise Optimus prime cause for so long I've been looking for a g1 accurate Optimus that I didn't need to sell my kidneys for and this was practically perfect except for part of the back wheel assembly being bent straight out of the box and the trailer is great for storing weapons I stored so many weapons in it I called it the weapon storage trailer cause I stored weapons from g1 to AOE
Yeah, most of the figures is actually not that bad but the QC's issues make them bad. The plastic quality and the engineering is far when compared to the Siege toyline. I think the nostalgia that people have is so high that they didn't really mind the problem that those figures have. Anyway, great video.
Thank you very much. And yeah, that's kind of one of Earthrise's biggest downfalls, when it had good figures they tended to be ruined by QC, or general unavailability. Nostalgia really blinded people this time.
Thank you. And yeah, that's one of the two moments that people bring up as their favorite from the video. I was quite proud of both, I've known how they were both going to work for months now, so it's real gratifying to see people single them both out as being funny.
I actually like the line more than the title might imply, but I do vehemently disagree about the Bumblebee. It's just the Masterpiece but worse. It's not even like the Cliffjumper where it at least looks different.
For me siege was worse. Mainly cause of the Optimus, here we go. Loose legs, stress marks everywhere, loose head, janky as hell wheel, loose hands, and kibble. As for ER Optimus: paint chipping, loose waist, and a crack in vehicle mode. So here is my ranking: S Optimus: 4/10. ER Optimus: 8/10
FINALLY! Someone who shares my point of view on this series. I didn't feel like I could trust any of the toy reviewers on their opinions on Earthrise because they were so biased on how good the figures looked, they wouldn't address any of the QC or parts-forming issues they had! To put it in perspective, before I got Wheeljack, I was watching numerous reviews on the figure and I remember Prime Vs Prime saying it was one of the most solid figures he had gotten from the first wave. Then I got the figure and he felt so light and cheap!. Shortly after, I got Siege Sideswipe and after thinking he might disappoint me the same way, he was actually incredibly solid and looked amazing! Since then, I have declared Siege my favorite TF Toyline because most of the figures I have collected from it have been significantly more solid than my Earthrise Wheeljack and they still look just as good.
Fun Fact, I have 5K subs, entirely due to the fact that people HATED me for not liking ER for a good while. They'd show up to my videos just to tell me I'm an idiot and downvote me. That's SUPER Charged my growth. Siege was great ER is only popular cause it looked like G1 and people were trying REALLY hard to ignore it's flaws.
@@PerspectiveEnd Ha Ha!!! That's awesome. Well I'm glad to hear that your channel is growing. I for one recently subscribed and I've enjoyed so many of your vids. Thanks for the refreshing opinions and I'm looking forward to more content!
It was a mixed bag imo. Had some that I loved/liked in DD, Lynx, Sunny, Cliff, Grapple, Hoistbreaker, and OP. But there were also some really terrible ones that either didn't need to exist, like Astrotrain and Megatron, or were shamelessly awful: Allicon, Arcee, and the Seekers. Also there was that filmy grey zone that was neither bad or good, with Wheeljack, Snapdragon, all the Modulators, and some others that I probably forgot existed...
@@PerspectiveEnd nothing with Astrotrain himself, just that he didn't need to appear in Earthrise having already gotten him in Siege. Not sure if it had something to do with poor distribution of the Siege version or not, but he just felt like a filler that could have been a new character.
would you be interested in doing a full review of ER Starscream one day? I know you outlined your main points on why it sucks, but I’d like to hear your full thoughts on it
The lazy eyebrow basically confirmed it to me that er starscream is the generations mold upscaled to voyager. When he showed on his review of the seeker mold, there is a metal pin on starscream’s back that was supposed to act as a butt flap, but the plastic was already molded in with the rest of the body. Hasbro couldnt even be bothered to add that to the figure.
Yeah no that guy who came at me with that was so unbelievably off base it's kind of nuts. He was so confident that I believed him until I actually looked at it. He must be someone who doesn't understand that a thing doesn't have to be literally the exact same to be the exact same.
I was proud of that moment. Also the absolute stupidity of Cliffjumbers explosion, though I forgot to establish why the rocket was flying sideways. So I kick my self for that every time I think of it.
Thank you very much. I'm hearing, that they are 1 doing away with Titan Class, and 2 doing away with Trilogies, from what I hear it's supposed to get even more loosy goosey than Kingdom, where it's just going to be what ever they want to put out. So we could see more Beast Wars in there, maybe some Animated love for once, get those UT figs people have been asking for including that Optimus they showed off for ever ago, maybe more IDW stuff? Who knows.
@@PerspectiveEnd that sounds really great. For a long time now, Hasbro has limited transformers figures (tv shows included) to about three years at a time. It would be great if they can be even more loose with the format. Keeps things creative
Hoist brings back some memories. He was the first EVER full-sized G1 Transformer I bought when I was a kid. Technically, my Very First Transformer figure was Huffer. The only other thing like them I could afford were Gobots!
That's actually kind of funny considering the last two videos. Weren't Gobots More expensive back then? For me my first was either G1 Slag, or G1 Optimus Prime.
@@PerspectiveEnd Not sure about the prices in America, but in the UK in the 80's, Gobots were always classed as the 'Pocket Money' alternative to Transformers and had the cheaper RRP. At my, now long gone, Zodiac Toys store, the regular small sized Gobots were all around £1.99 (roughly $2.20) each. The Transformers Mini-cons, despite being mainly plastic and not die-cast, had the higher price point of around £2.99 to £3.50 each.
Well it's an ok line they had some perfect figures ( fight me) but some of them sucked ( arcee elita etc) Edit: there goes another cliffjumper death again😂 Edit 2: IT BROKE THAT CLIFFJUMPER HATES YOU! Edit 3: if you had a po box I would send you another one because I'm evil
Indeed. I forgot to talk about the fact that the rocket has 5mm ports on the sides for some reason, so I don't know if the joke landed as well as I wanted it to. And I do say at the end that the line was mixed but not necessarily bad.
Now this, this is the overall review I had wanted ever since that original one. A fix and something which is actually agreeable. No more needless whining, no more overly angry ranting and no more not pointing out the positives and being just negative. Thank you, you've earned yourself a sub and I'm now fully on board your train And while I do still like some of your least favourites from this line, such as the cliffjumper, I still respect and understand your point. Well done and I hope to see more of your reviews soon
Glad I was able to turn you around, and thank you. I've been meaning to do this one for a while now. I've released a few addendum videos to the first Earthrise video over the last 7 months, but like I said at the start of this one, that was literally an angry rant fueled by the fact that I was pretty the first person out there criticizing Earthrise. The sequel was going to be more even handed, if only because I'm not the only one criticizing the line any more, so I'm not brimming with frustration at being the only person to point out the issues.
@@PerspectiveEnd I'm glad you feel happy with it too. And I hope your critism comes a long way and helps the future lines improve overall as well. Good luck with future content And while I don't really know if it's a good thing to ask or not, were you really the only person who criticised this line and everyone else loved it cause G1? Cause honestly most reviews on the matter which I watch do have positives but also negatives to point out
That's kind of what I always intended the message of the first video to be. "We've gotten better before so we shouldn't settle for less again just because it looks G1." And at the time I made the video I'm pretty sure I was one of the only people willing to speak out against Earthrise. I of course didn't see every video made by everyone, but all of the ones I did see were either unrealistically positive, or they'd list a flaw, then say that the flaw doesn't matter because the figure looked so good.
@@PerspectiveEnd I understand then. Well I am glad you remade the video which hoenstly was bringing your channel down and made it much better. Let's hope any future line holds more merits than Earthrise. Kingdom already looking like they're overtaking earthrise
I mean, I came out of this video saying that I like the line more than I did, and that it's not bad but Mixed? And I mean the point of what I do here is to be a Harsh Critic.
Hi welcome to the world of reviews, where we can't only just say the good things about something, and have to acknowledge the shit with the icing. And it's not his fault that this line cloner resembled a clogged toilet than a chocolate cake.
Honestly, I love the cliffjumper mold. I have the netflix Bumblebee and I find posing and transforming it quite enjoyable. I also don't really mind the parts-forming back as the "shield" mode I think looks pretty good on it.
That's fine if you enjoy that don't let me convince you to stop, but there isn't really much argument to be had that partsforming isn't a less well engineered design. Personally when I see stuff like that, I feel taken for granted, like Hasbro feels entitled to my patronage.
Concerning the Sky Lynx halves connecting, have you snapped it it? There should be a click sound from the back tab. I had a similar issue with before figuring it out.
Yes. I absolutely get the click from the back. It's still stupidly simple to give it a light yank and pop the two apart. I'd say it takes more force to separate the pegs from Grapples feet than it is to get Skylynx in half.
I have a question. How come you hammer ER Prime and (somewhat) Siege/ER Astrotrain for not being worth leader price when Siege Shockwave does the exact same thing?
Because Siege Astrotrain is giving us our moneys worth. It's not just size that can do that. Optimus Prime is a Solid Voyager, but that Trailer it worth NOTHING. Astrotrain is a Tripple Changer, with more paint than optimus and his Tender is more complex than Optimus's trailer even at 1/3rd the size and it has WAY nicer materials and more paint. The whole figure is made of nicer materials honestly, and it doesn't have the QC problems. Astrotrain feels like a voyager that falls JUST short of leader, but like it was trying. Optimus feels like it wasn't trying but wanted your money anyways.
@@PerspectiveEnd alright. I see where your coming from. But what about Siege Shockwave? I think that figure isn’t worth a leader, even more so that ER Prime.
@@BunnyGirlMet I also think he's pulling off leader way better, He is way denser, but each piece of his armor is all way better than Primes Trailer, and it all combines well. Though yeah, he is not pulling his weight like he should.
I will agree with the fact that siege prime has way better kibble because although it has more of it, it feels a lot better managed, like I'd rather take a nice jetpack that doesn't intrude on any articulation and flip out arm guns than some clumsy wheels on the back that not only break up the silhouette, but hugely hampers articulation and doesn't look like anything other than just kibble, not to mention the sacrifice in the robot mode's sculpt to get rid of as much kibble as possible is also a bit of a downgrade.
Absolutely agreed. It's not a bad figure but the Siege was a Soul Shredding Guitar Solo, and the fear of Kibble is overblown. More does not equal Worse.
I agree with the comment below mine, perspective, do you think I should get my brother double dealer for his birthday? I’d love to see a review for him.
I don't know what the comment below yours is. Double dealer is Ok, but I wouldn't hype on him. If you want him for your birthday, I think it's decent to get but it won't blow you away.
I ordered air wave from Amazon two years ago and I transformed it once an when I put him back together he just kept falling apart to the point I had to return him which was annoying cause I think he looks kinda cool
I really wanted to love that Sunstreaker mold, but every instance of it I experienced was a struggle to transform because of the windscreen not wanting to tab in, and the fact his knees clip in when he's in vehicle mode resulted in me getting stress marks on every single version of that mold's knee hinges. I wanted to love that mold, especially the Diaclone recolors, but consistently I had a horrible time trying to transform him and it just depressed me to no end considering how much I liked it upon first viewing.
So hey update again lmao Just got a new Smokescreen and this time the arms didn’t fall off so at least o finally have a decent Smokescreen other then the CW one
You need to have Krunk’s arms facing straight out when he is snapdragon’s dragon head, that’s what those pink triangles are for, they fill in the eye holes

Though my main complaint is that there are never enough Seige Ports. lol
You do love you some Siege ports. Thank you for being here from the beginning.
These are my criticisms of my er figs
Grapple: it’s ok
Smokescreen: the gun broke in half and very hard to get out of hand
Sun streaker: just wish it had an actual gun
Wheel jack: it’s ok
Double dealer: the legs suck
Starscream: nose cone
Airwaves: great
Allicon: it’s ok
Why is Airwave in there? I didn't crap on that one.
@@PerspectiveEnd i think its for all of his ER figs bad or great
@@PerspectiveEnd there the ones in his collection
That missile hitting cliffjumper part was hilarious 😂
Thank you I was super proud of that, though the joke is a little sabotaged by the fact that I forgot to do the set up, where I noticed it had blast effect ports on the side.
@@PerspectiveEnd I’m still in hysterics when I think if the joke
Astrotrain IS a Siege figure. He was released in the tail end of Siege and got rereleased in Earthrise.
Nah. He was meant to be in Earthrise, but was released in SIege at the very tail-end
Yeah I know that, that's why he's a Siege Figure to me, even though he's in Earthrise. My copy is even the Siege version.
I disagree, he was announced Early on for Siege, I'd say he was just so late the put him in both.
He's got actual Earth Modes though. Like even the more Earthy looking Siege figures didn't go as far as directing recreating the details of actually existing vehicles, that was Earthrise's thing.
front of truck and back of truck with canon are the heros we never asked for,but needed
Indeed they are. Tiny Heros.
i really feel like the WFC figures have had WILDLY inconsistent quality.
sometimes they have been bangers, sometimes they have been... well..shampoo bottle plastic dollar tree quality.
this isn't even factoring the chaotic QC.
Honestly yeah. We started out amazingly with Siege, though that line did have some problems then transitioned into the inconsistent Earthrise then kingdom lines.
Honestly, even if the ER Wheeljack is not perfect, I still want it.
I hope you like it then.
@@PerspectiveEnd honestly, I hope I do
So 7 months in, I'm starting to fall under the spell of the design of Smokescreen/Barricade mold, and, with no hope of an evergreen-based Generations Barricade figure, I'm gravitating towards the Earthrise one.
I don't wanna see you wasting your money on something that will break and disappoint you like the tollway world constructor disappoints me
I think a lot of people think of Cliff as a straight copy of bee.
He's not a Straight copy, but he is is an altered one.
@@PerspectiveEnd agreed
When it comes to earthrise, if you want the best figure in the line, you’ve gotta learn to love some niche designs, completely unknown characters, and prime.
I'm not quite sure what you mean by that?
@@PerspectiveEnd if you want the best quality from earthrise, you need to learn to love
some niche designs (skylynx, scorponok, ironworks, snapdragon (to an extent).
Completely unknown characters (iron works, air wave, most of the weaponizers that are actually based on g1 characters)
And prime (Self explanatory)
Wow, THANK YOU for your HONESTY! I always had doubts n' suspicions about the earthrise line and now I know - and knowing is half the battle! :D
You are more than welcome. I'm glad you found the sincerity of what I was saying here appealing.
All the dislikes on this are just Earthrise Figures and their alts.
Hey if it is, then I'd like to thank them because it still only helps the video to down vote them.
Most people: watch perspectiveend for the quality content
Me: more cliffjumper abuse
I mean that's a VERY Valid reason. It's one of the core tenants of my channel.
Also when the rocket took off, did you see it coming?
@@PerspectiveEnd every time
Hey, I just discovered your channel and while I may not agree with a lot of what you say, I admire that you say what you think.
My main takeaway from this video is
Just buy kingdom stuff lol
Na it should be, buy Sunstreaker.
@@PerspectiveEnd yes, him too
Also, that franken siegER Prime looks sick.
If i ever get bored of ER optimus, i might just do that
Thanks for that tip about combining the hammer dude with Soundwave's gun!
Now it truly looks great!
No problem, I'm full of tips like that.
I was looking forward to Arcee, and when I got her I realized I prefer my MMC reformatted/ocular max stuff.
The ER one? Oh man that thing was such a let down. I mean man that cant even hold a candle to the WORST MMC Figure.
@@PerspectiveEnd yeah ER. I have the MMC Reformatted Elita-1, her articulation and kibble put ER Arcee to shame. Her proportions are better too.
I found your channel from the siege and earthrise toyline videos and im happy i checked out more of your stuff!
Did that first ER video put you off a bit. It sounds like it might have. I understand if it did, that's the story for many people.
@@PerspectiveEnd nah it didnt i thought it was good so i checked out the prime wars and siege video
I'm glad. Most people saw that one first, and then wrote off the whole channel.
It took me this long to realise that it's a plane crashing in the thumbnail.
I was always worried that that wasn't clear. Is it more clear on the Original thumbnail?
@@PerspectiveEnd It's the same to me. I guess I just got bad eyes and never really tried to see what it really was.
Nah, I think it's just hard to discern.
I like Sunstreaker, but Come on man Cliffjumper? CLIFFJUMPER!!!!
Gun mode?
I'll try those's thanks.
I filled that trailer with the Weaponizers my self.
i love how this video's thumbnail is the same thumbnail of the other vid but with a new backround
Had to do it. But there are a few differences. Prime is further right, there are some question marks now, and my logo is in the corner.
@@PerspectiveEnd XD best thumbnail
Grapple is probably my favourite in the line
But he's so ORANGE!!!
We completely agree on Runamuck. It and Runabout may be the best Earthrise figures.
Yeah it's up there for the line.
Great vid man. I died at Arcee's appearance
Thank you. And yeah, that's one of the two moments that people bring up as their favorite from the video. I was quite proud of both, I've known how they were both going to work for months now, so it's real gratifying to see people single them both out as being funny.
We need more huff
I can accept that some figures weren't good, but figures like ER prime and bumblebee were near perfect
ER Optimus: 8/10
for me it would go something like ER optimus 7/10 and siege 7/10 mainly cause they're basically the same figure
ER Soundwave was also amazing!
@@prototypeoswald1140 you're joking right?
@@PerspectiveEnd
I guess it's because some people who hated you are brainwashed perfectionists/geewunners (no offense, just saying imo)
I do say it was a mixed bag at the end of the video, but hold up, what's wrong with AstroTrain? I love that figure.
@@PerspectiveEnd nothing with Astrotrain himself, just that he didn't need to appear in Earthrise having already gotten him in Siege. Not sure if it had something to do with poor distribution of the Siege version or not, but he just felt like a filler that could have been a new character.
@@windowbewbs9064 I get you, and I think it's just due to the fact that he only came out in like the last 2 or 3 weeks of Siege before ER started.
Are you going to make a perspective on the kingdom toy-line and how you feel about it
Yes I will make a Retrospective on it, once I've reviewed every figure from the line.
Is the small tank and poo car a dr. Lockdown reference?
I don't know what of his it would be referencing so no. It's just a Reference to an earlier video I did.
@@PerspectiveEnd oh ok, because in his micromaster waves 2,3 & 4 video he called them that.
@PerspectiveEnd Wait, his video came out after yours so he was probably referencing you!
would you be interested in doing a full review of ER Starscream one day? I know you outlined your main points on why it sucks, but I’d like to hear your full thoughts on it
Maybe but it's not a Priority for sure.
8:14 truly a wepon to surpass Metal Gear
I'd agree. An Aerodynamically misaligned missile is a better weapon than a Metal Gear.
I agree
Covid hit Arizona so bad that we only got wave 1 sunstreaker trailbreaker and runabout
That sucks. A lot of this was really REALLY hard to find in California too.
Because their new jacks and have no idea about G1 .....because they where not born YET!
New Jacks?
If Blurr was in Kingdom, you would be a Perfect voice for him
Thank you. I have been told this before.
That bit with Arcee killed me.
I was proud of that moment. Also the absolute stupidity of Cliffjumbers explosion, though I forgot to establish why the rocket was flying sideways. So I kick my self for that every time I think of it.
I’m just curious what’s going to happen when the Trilogy ends
Also good video as always
Yeah, I'm wondering the same thing myself. Another trilogy perhaps?
Thank you very much. I'm hearing, that they are 1 doing away with Titan Class, and 2 doing away with Trilogies, from what I hear it's supposed to get even more loosy goosey than Kingdom, where it's just going to be what ever they want to put out.
So we could see more Beast Wars in there, maybe some Animated love for once, get those UT figs people have been asking for including that Optimus they showed off for ever ago, maybe more IDW stuff?
Who knows.
I've heard that's not the direction they are planning on going. My info could be bad though.
@@PerspectiveEnd that sounds really great. For a long time now, Hasbro has limited transformers figures (tv shows included) to about three years at a time. It would be great if they can be even more loose with the format. Keeps things creative
I like the Trillogies, but I'd be quite interested to see what they come up with when not shackled to them.
Well it's an ok line they had some perfect figures ( fight me) but some of them sucked ( arcee elita etc)
Edit: there goes another cliffjumper death again😂
Edit 2: IT BROKE THAT CLIFFJUMPER HATES YOU!
@@PerspectiveEnd well I still laughed the explosion at the end is what cracked me up
@@PerspectiveEnd also when you showed the conversation we had I laughed to hard
Now this, this is the overall review I had wanted ever since that original one. A fix and something which is actually agreeable. No more needless whining, no more overly angry ranting and no more not pointing out the positives and being just negative. Thank you, you've earned yourself a sub and I'm now fully on board your train
And while I do still like some of your least favourites from this line, such as the cliffjumper, I still respect and understand your point.
Good luck with future content
And while I don't really know if it's a good thing to ask or not, were you really the only person who criticised this line and everyone else loved it cause G1? Cause honestly most reviews on the matter which I watch do have positives but also negatives to point out
That's kind of what I always intended the message of the first video to be. "We've gotten better before so we shouldn't settle for less again just because it looks G1."
And at the time I made the video I'm pretty sure I was one of the only people willing to speak out against Earthrise.
9:36 I just about fucking lost it
Glad so many are getting a chuckle out of that.
Earthrise Cliffs torture will never end and that's a good thing
Will it? Maybe that missile finally killed him for good.
Do you ever get tired of crying?? Or is that like your favorite hobby??
I mean, I came out of this video saying that I like the line more than I did, and that it's not bad but Mixed?
And I mean the point of what I do here is to be a Harsh Critic.
Hi welcome to the world of reviews, where we can't only just say the good things about something, and have to acknowledge the shit with the icing. And it's not his fault that this line cloner resembled a clogged toilet than a chocolate cake.
@@NexusProductions-rz1sv It's all good man, if he doesn't like me then he doesn't like me, I won't get bent out of shape over it.
Earthrise is like the middle child of the WFC trilogy, which makes sense in more ways than one. Still can’t get Runamuck anywhere though
It got the Hand Me Down's of Siege, and then gave Kingdom even more used Hand me downs... That makes too much sense.
Funny how I got an ad about Tinnitus after the Cliffjumper explosion.
Will you do another video about siege, like how you did with this one?
Probably not. I was fully informed about siege when I made the first video and I haven't changed my feelings towards it since.
Hey what was that wheeljack upgrade kit? Or like where can I find one?? I love the blue and the complete arc of the windshield on his chest
It’s an upgrade kit from monólogi o robotosh
Though yeah, he is not pulling his weight like he should.
i think at least 5 people i know respect you now that you made this video
by that i mean they hated your early earthrise toyline video
Nice. I'm glad I was able to win people over. That first video really did make a lot of enemies.
If you want him for your birthday, I think it's decent to get but it won't blow you away.
on my country i can only find the first wave of Earthrise, thanks Hasbro
Ouch, that's unfortunate cause it only got better in later waves. Here's hoping you find better stuff soon.
@@PerspectiveEnd The only Thing that i like from Earthrise Is that they sold The Astrotrain with a better distribution than The siege
That's better, much better tone, much less swearing out of angery, and much better analysis!
I'd say that comes from me not having written the video out of anger. I was able to take a much more even handed and thought out approach.
@@PerspectiveEnd yeh
I ordered air wave from Amazon two years ago and I transformed it once an when I put him back together he just kept falling apart to the point I had to return him which was annoying cause I think he looks kinda cool
Sorry to hear that, that sounds like my experience with Cog and Red Cog.
It has now been 7 months I ended up giving airwave one more chance and found a way to slightly tighten the pegs
The arcee bit killed me 💀
I'm proud to hear that.

You need to have Krunk’s arms facing straight out when he is snapdragon’s dragon head, that’s what those pink triangles are for, they fill in the eye holes

I saw the final wave of deluxes ONE time in Canada, glad I got them when I had a chance. But my daughter loves them so I over look many of the flaws.
The last wave was good. So I can see why she likes em.
I agree with you siege just made earth rise look worse than what it already was because it was good, but then we have the ones who think earth rise is the mini masterpiece line because as you said it was g1 and love your videos man great work
Thank you very much. Yeah being within proximity of Siege really hurt Earthrise even more. Also would Seeker Plex just be Trypticon... Think about it.
@@PerspectiveEnd I guess I will think about it
I must be the luckiest man on earth because none of the parts on any Earthrise figure that I own have broken off.
I'm about the same, though I've taken great care to avoid the stuff I know is weak.
i only had ss figures break on me and im worried for my ss ironhide his translucent arms have cracking ports and i cant find a replacement
I wouldn't know about that, since I don't buy those.
