    Note on Pikaia:
    After further reading, i found out that it's named after the Pika Peak in Alberta, Canada.
    The Pika Peak itself is named after Pika the animal.

    In case you were wondering: in modern variants of Paleozoics the best main deck Paleozoic traps are actually Marella and Leanchoilia because they can respectively send and recycle "Transaction Rollback" to your graveyard. Transaction Rollback is a trap that you can banish from your graveyard in order to activate the effect of any other trap card in your graveyard (circumventing it's cost), which is absurdly powerful. Olenoides, Dinomischus and Canadia are also played because for one their effects decent, but their main purpose is being extra bodies you can summon from grave to facilitate getting your XYZ Paleos asap. Eldonia, Halucigenia and Pikaia see no play since their effects are awful.

    • @lucaslennan3356
      @lucaslennan3356 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      I always feel bad for Pikaia because it used to be really good but modern Yugioh just didn't give it a chance.
      It's just a bit too slow, a bit too restrictive, a bit too nonimpactful.

      I'd say either pikmin 1 or 4 are the best ones to start with.
      1 still holds up as a great standalone game, but it's the shortest one. I think it delivers being "the first pikmin experience", having fun creatures and puzzles.
      4 has more stuff to do in general and is easier, also with a lot of neat quality of life stuff. It's a lot longer but that means it has a lot more creatures.

    I can't remember what I first saw you cover, maybe Ark or Monster Hunter, but I definitely didn't expect you to dive into YuGiOh! (no pun intended)
    I absolutely adore Paleos, in both visual design and card design. They're the reason I researched the Paleozoic time period because of how strange and otherworldly they seemed. Still a fan favorite deck that is entirely unique in it's playstyle, which is hard to come by since the game has been out for 25+ years lol

    where are the fossils of Laundry Dragonmaid?

      The reason why Hallucigenia is still upside down in game is because Laundry dropped the fossil while she was on her way to bring it to the researchers.

    12:48 the reason why canadia book their opponent, is because it is a reference to the famous catchphrase of the canadian streamer felix "xQc" lengyel during his famous gambling stream "BOOK, BOOK, BOOK"
