Thanks for the perspective on SF. I’m 25 and planning on going into security forces. I’ve been doing some research and it’s nice to hear a positive perspective.
Positive outlook young man. You have many great suggestions for the way you live your life and the perspectives that could help others. Hope you are still serving and remain in love with your job.
The Asvab requirement for security guard forces ties with becoming a cook. It's where they dump people who flunk other tech schools. You'll guard parked aircraft, ammo bunkers, and missiles which never moved. You'll work gates and check the same ID cards. That's the same work minimum-waged guards at my condo do. Sometimes you write fellow airmen cheesy tickers. I got K9 right after tech school. I walked the perimeter of bases in arctic-cold weather. We were cops as much as school crossing guards. The job was painfully boring. Tell me, how many arrests have you made? Have you ever participated in a Grand Jury investigation, or met with prosecutors in conference? Nope. Guard work does not help you become a real cop.
Thank you so much! I leave to basic on Sept 17 and I chose SF! so many people have talked down on this job but I'm such a positive person, this video has definitely made me feel better!!
You have a great attitude about your job, bro. Keep up the good work and stay safe. I was a Security Policeman in the late 1970's. Before it's being called Security Forces. 18th SPS, Kadena Air Base Okinawa, Japan. The Rock.. I liked my duties, especially guarding or patrolling top secret reconnaissance aircraft. I have nothing negative to say about the job. Wish I'd stayed in now that I'm a senior citizen. It's the greatest feeling when you graduate Air Base Ground Defence course and you receive your beret!! If your qualifications are up to par..you can apply for your base's Emergency Response Team. S.W.A.T. It used to be called TNT (Tactical Neutralization Team) But I don't know what it's called today..
Hey man, I find your content to be great and am wondering how you are and if you will be making more content? Hope all is well and stay blessed brother.
I’m in SF tech school and it’s not as hard as everyone says lol, they do some petty stuff like accountability every night lol but it gets better as you progress
@@t8368 I know this comment was 3 years ago, so I just wanted to comment that I think It's the opposite now. My daughter graduated bmt Sept 2022, graduated SF Tech school Dec 2022, got to her first duty station in the beginning of this January 2023, and finally just had to get tazed 2 weeks ago during her base training (mid February 2023). Did not have to get sprayed, but did have to get tazed. Every base is different. Some have you do 1 or the other.
Min is 33 right now according to my recruiter I got a 68 overall on my practice, but I was about to piss myself because I thought I could hold it for 25 minutes... Then there was a question about showers vs tubs filled with water.
I just want to let you k ow that you are an inspiration and have an awesome channel. I am 36 and looking to joing ANG for SF. Do you have any tips for getting in shape/diet prior? Do you have any ASVAB tips? God bless you and keep up the great work.
I’m shipping out in October for BMT but I’m signed for SF. The only thing I know for sure is it depends on what your bases mission is, and where they place you once you ship to your first installation. You don’t have a say but i THINK you can try to sway towards BDG or LE once you’re settled in for lack of better words.
Ive been in for a few years now and all i have to say is keep that outlook don't let anyone change it. learn from other peoples mistakes. A wise person once told me, "its ok to mess up, just don't FLUFF (profanity )up" I see you doing great things so seriously keep it up!
It’s definitely a balancing act keeping up between the two, but working with your supervisor and having the motivation to do it, there’s no doubt time for both.
No offence but isn’t security forces just about securing the military base your stationed at? Drunks, suicidal and car crashes aren’t they meant for police officers??
I wore the blue beret for 20 years, im proud of you man and would soldier with you anytime. Security forces are the unsung heroes of america🐯
Thanks for the perspective on SF. I’m 25 and planning on going into security forces. I’ve been doing some research and it’s nice to hear a positive perspective.
I am in the exact same position. However I think I have decided to go TACP.
Me too
High Altitude Productions trying to decide between the both my self

And also wasting time by standing around
zRam camp bullis was fun as hell but it is a lot of hurry up and wait
Can you do a video about security tech school really interested because that's the job I want after I graduate
Most definitely, stay tuned.
This makes me feel better about going this route too. I wanna know your experience on getting pepper sprayed & tazed
While you will still get pepper sprayed you no longer have to get tazed

Good stuff bro ! I leave for BMT this month and I am going into security forces
Good positivity man keep it up! Subscribed.
What did you score on your asvab to join security forces unit?
Omar Henderson you need a 31 in general score
The minimum asvab score for security forces is a 36. However I have heard of people getting waivers if they scored a little lower.
Thanks so much!

Lol okay last time I took the asvab I scored a 30
Can you talk about TRF????
Thanks bro
September 24. Is my shipping date .
My last question ...
Would I be able to Go to school while on active ? And if so how difficult will it be .
Ziggy Boo I leave on that day to!!

i’m sf in tech school now 😳
Great video man!
Lol no wonder everyone I know from my HS that joined the airforce are security forces 😂😂😂
I’m leaving for BMT soon and I chose Security Forces. Do you have time for school and work?
It’s definitely a balancing act keeping up between the two, but working with your supervisor and having the motivation to do it, there’s no doubt time for both.
Wearing glasses doesn’t matter for security forces?
Definitely not. As long as you can see while wearing your glasses/contacts you can become a security forces member.
No offence but isn’t security forces just about securing the military base your stationed at? Drunks, suicidal and car crashes aren’t they meant for police officers??
Security forces doubles as base security and LE (law enforcement), so both jobs belong to us.
Why do people talk so bad about the job it doesn’t seem that bad
I had a blast. ❤
Gotcha you bro
That’s my boiii
Cool🔥🔥🔥
