I lucked out with my SF career. First duty station was Hickam AFB 09 in HI and got Raven qualified within the first few months being there. Only bc all the Ravens were deployed or PCS’s. Man everyone was pissed...lol following duty station was Cannon AFB 2012. First day in training during lunch I went straight to the DAGRE section introduced myself and gave my cert and experience. Next thing I was in the pipeline. I hardly did the the straight leg gig so my SF experience was lovely. I’m currently in the Army as an infantryman. I miss my beloved USAF 😂
So, basically a DAGRE will be defending an Air Force base somewhere far away from the US if Special Tactics guys are in that base??? Like a base with PJs? DAGRE will protect the Osprey and the PJs??
SF is an awesome lead in to work commersial CONUS nuclear power plant security. The average starting hourly rate in Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississipi is $23-$25 hourly and top out pay within 3 years is between $28 - $31 per hour. 12 hour shifts, all uniform, equipment and training paid. In house security with fortune 500 utility corporations. Excellent benefits, advancements and high performers get the best treatment. SF considering a EOS opportunities check in to it. Basics of operating nuclear power plant security are defined in 10 Code of Federal Regulation 73.55. Good luck. I retired after 26 years at one plant.... Stay safe.
To me its sounds like DAGRE and Raven do the same basic mission. Only difference is air frame, location, and advanced training, but same basic mission.
Kinda but not really, I don't know if DAGRE get their own unique number once they graduate. I do know that both of the schools will get your ass whupped lol
We are “elite” when it comes down to the things that we train on and known for. We are very versatile in the deployment aspect of things and our deployment ratio is a very high tempo. I can say that DAGREs are more experienced when it comes down to your regular Air Force security forces defender because we train day in and out on many special tactics.
Drake in Dagre

Do you have to go raven first or can you go straight for Dagre?
@@daveytrooper you can go straight to the DAGRE pipeline if you are stationed at an AFSOC base.
But, as a DAGRE, what did you do???
I don't really understand DAGRE
Thanks for your time.
When you went from AF to Army did u have to do any training or did you just change over
Bro are you from Oklahoma? I assume from your name you are! I'm thinking of going Air Force here in a few months.

When a DAGRE gets deployed, it is for several months or for one especific operation???
Several months
What's the selection process for dagre
Good question sucks no ones answered
I just recently finished and its through AMS now
DrgreenThumb xD what’s ams?
Is that navy?
AMS I think stands for assignment management system. And no its Air Force
could you do a q&a with a raven??
What questions do you have?
@@duelingglove3631 Are you a Raven?
Can women go DAGRE? I'm considering switching branches and Security forces is what stands out to me the most about the Air Force.
Yes woman can go DAGRE and so far I think there have been 2 who've made it through the course
Are dagre more Elite than AMPT?
How frequent is the deployment schedule for DAGRE?
I knew married guys in pararescue back in the 70s, it's rough on married life, so be aware.
is dagger dagre ?
Do you do airborne school for DAGRE?
4:57 he said they jump out of airplanes for training so I'd think so
@@prariedog7875 Airborne and air assualt are two different things. He said they repelled out of them.
Good video but the music was to loud in the back ground made it hard to understand
Great info but please don’t play music over the interview I couldn’t really hear what y’all were talking about
Love it 👌🏽🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

So, basically DAGREs are SF on steroids
Necromante Errante Not even close lmaoo
Necromante Errante Wait I’m sorry I thought you meant SF as green beret
Is DARGE a job you can be in when you become an mp in the airforce. For ex. Like k9 ,swat etc. or is it a completely different AFSC?
DAGRE is a shred of security forces. So yes it is within the same AFSC.
@@jalencroxton1471 It's technically more of a special duty. The only actual shreds are K9 and CATM.
But in reply to the OP, it's the same AFSC.
Jalen Croxton is it rare to get an opportunity to do DAGRE?
Can Air Force reserve get a job as DARGE and if so how ?
Yes
Yes, there’s only one reserve unit though.
There’s actually 2 guard/reserve units. 1 is Duke field, and the other is up north East.
What bases offer DAGRE training?
Snazzy Potato Only AFSOC bases offer DAGRE opportunities
@@mohammedkhan6593 Good to know, Thank you
@@snazzypotato4917 hurlburt field and cannon AFB
Overseas: Kadena AB & Mildenhall AFB
Is it true you do dagre for 2 years then go back to LE work
Negative. I did LE for 4 months when I got the my unit then did DAGRE the rest of my career for the rest of the 5 and a half years I needed to serve.
Jay Villain 👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾
Thats only k9 sadly i think
@@JayVillain hey bro can you answer any questions? I don’t have instagram or any of that shit just this and Facebook
@@emmanuelperez2366 I'm sorry I can't help, I've been out of the military for almost 2 years now and I'm not sure how much the program has changed.
Is their a lot of dagre women?
I only know of 1
So is a EST better than a DARGE??
no, hell no
Do you do airborne school for Raven?
You can but only in CRG units or if your Commander allows it.
What is sabc
bac mac Self Aid Buddy Care
Who Khan long time no see
Can you sign a Dagre security forces contract? Like for example you can sign a option 40 when going Army to attempt RASP school.
No you have to try out either be near the unit or get sent
@@ogbred thank you!
Can you be a DAGRE or RAVEN in the air national guard?
marqueemarq88 yes you can
So... is dagre spec ops or not, cuz everywhere I've looked it says dagre is spec ops but he said it's not. Help lol
If Dagre is spec ops then your average COD player is a SEAL
Its spec ops in the term of being part of afsoc but they are known as support air commandos so they support the actual special forces
Why so much hate
ROFLMAOOOOO! Nice interview!
Dagre is a bunch of cops larping as operators
LMAOOOO, uh, no!
This was very painful to watch ..
