lol this video just made me wish I chose active duty so I could live on base 😭. Plus this is the nicest dorm I’ve seen so far.
They really appreciate the videos you made. I have a suggestion for one. You should do a day in the life at your base by what your job is and oh day today it’s operated.
Much nicer than when I was in the dorms. Back in the day, you didn't get a single room until you were an E-5.

So I heard as a dental assistant, you don't travel as much. Is that true? Also, how does the process of getting a car work in the military?
Can you have like a self heating pot and pan to cook your own food In or is it not allowed . Cuz if it is imma be making some money off some hot plates 😂😂😂 if not then I figured but no provoke in asking to make sure.

Goood Lord, that’s how the Air Force Do?! Marine Corp Barracks have painted Center blocks an an a metal stand for your Rack, no ceiling fan, an a 2 foot mini fridge!

from January-June. i was in tech school longer than expected due to medical reasons, but still not too long! :)

Where are you stationed at? I am about to leave January 16th for BMT. I'm a lot older so I'm sure my experience will be different than most people but I come from a huge military family and live in San Antonio already so. Thanks for the videos. My AFSC is Structural 3E331
Where do you prepare your meals?
i eat at the DEFAC, and we have a kitchen that we share with everyone on my floor, if i want to prepare food. it is towards the end of the video!

How was it going to BMT and Tech School with a boyfriend? How often did you get to talk?
BMT was so hectic i didn’t even really have time to think about my boyfriend😂 we did get to write letters back and forth and everytime we got a phone call i called him. BMT goes by quick and the letters and phone calls help. the first couple of weeks will be the hardest and you will miss your family/boyfriend the most and then it gets easier. in tech school we got to talk a lot more, but my tech school specifically couldn’t have phones during the school day. so we could only talk before or after school. it was hard but we had the weekends to talk and spend time together on facetime.

You have to live in the dorms if you have only been in active service for less than 3 years. After that, speak to someone higher about it
you don’t have any roomates ? like everyone gets a room to themselves ?
i have a suite mate. which means we share a bathroom, but no roommate! every base is different. i’ve seen bases with quads (where you share a kitchen with 4 people but you get your own room and bathroom) and some bases have suite mates where you share a bathroom andddd kitchen with one person. but i share a bathroom with one person and everyone on the same floor as me shares a kitchen. :)
Can you have a belly button piercing in BMT?
Hi, did you get your job through an open contract or you got it directly and how long were you in DEP before getting your job.
hi i got my job directly. i literally shipped out for BMT 3 weeks after my first meet with my recruiter. it was a super fast process, i had no medical problems, and i told her i wanted the first job available. and the first job available happened to be dental assistant:)

@@sierra1481 ummm so at my base specifically we are pretty busy. i think at any base you will be super busy as a dental assistant. we see a lot of patients and sometimes we don’t get time to eat lunch or we might stay super late, but it all depends on the day and the procedures we are doing🤷🏻♀️ sometimes procedures run late and take longer than expected and when that happens it does get hectic. but it’s not a super stressful job, overall super chill and worth it! but it can get hectic at times:) but not too bad
