The "hard drive not detected in Windows" error is a serious issue that can be resolved easily. A hard drive is required for your PC to store local data such as your files, applications (including the Windows operating system), and other critical data. It's time to fix this error if Windows isn't recognizing your Hard drive or SSD.
It's possible that your internal hard disc isn't showing up because it hasn't been formatted or hasn't been initialized. Ensure that the SATA cable connecting your drive to the motherboard is correctly attached. Some BIOS settings may prevent your HDD from being displayed in Windows. Hard drives might abruptly stop showing up in File Explorer or Disk Management, whether they are new or old, internal or external. i tried to update it myself but apparently its not as easy as it seems, even the dudes told me they were searching online all day long on how to update my Bios lol

I was having so many problems and was finding it impossible to actually get the ssd i had back, i have spent hours, tried all kinds of videos and forums and even troubleshooting but this was the only thing to acctually work, number four! you are a life saver, thank you so much!

It's not showing up in the first place..
For all with the issue that the HDDs are not showing up in disk management AT ALL, this fixed my problem: on the motherboard I switched spots for the SATA cables from the one where it said sata6g_56 to the one where it said sata6g_12. So my suggestion, try different SATA slots on the motherboard! I don't know why cause I'm no expert but could not find this suggestion anywhere, simple trial and error.

My Harddrive SSD at first worked perfectly for two days till it stopped showing up. And in that Time I obviously saved data in it. Now when I give it a letter it does not let me use my entire storage and doesnt give me access to my old data too. When I look it up I do see the entire Storage and how much its already used but still doesnt have access to the stuff iI saved in. What should I do?

Clone one your current ssd to your new one then it should pop up im disk manager from there just format it again to clean the drive and have all your storage without losing anything

I am facing issue of reboot and select proper boot device when i try to enter in bios my nvme ssd is not showing as well i opened my cpu and cleaned my nvme ssd too but still not showing what to do my pc is working perfectly from 1 year but today suddenly rebooted and having this issue what to do help me

At the first option , still didn't get the solution . then when i try the second option . ITS WORKS ! . thankyou very much but i still confusing why need format to get detected my HDD ? by the way , thankyou so much . recommend bcs have more option to get the solution XD
