Hello, so my problem started while I ran ccleaner, I did a clean and after I did that it was as if it deleted my disk D entirely. Once I restarted the computer it was there again, though after trying to run an application on my disk D it stopped responding and it automatically closed my file browser. Hi, quick question that I understand you may not have the answer to but I thought I'd ask. I was messing around with my computer a few days ago and installed a Linux Distro on a drive I don't use, and unplugged both windows boot drive and extra D drive for files to make sure I wasn't accidentally installing the software on those. I went about my business and decided I wanted to use windows again, and upon booting back up, I saw that the time zone on my pc changed to multiple hours ahead (4 if that helps) and that all of my drives, and any drives I put into the computer now are undetected, and can't have their drive letters changed in disk manager. I have a feeling like windows locked itself up or something but am quite unsure what's going on. I did the disk drill scan and it looks like all of my files are still on the D drive, and my windows drive works fine. Hopefully someone has a solution to this, but if not no worries. @@RRRRRRRRR33 It looks like in both of your cases, your PC/Laptop can't deliver enough power and that's why your drive doesn't boot. If the issue persists, try the drive on another computer or consult a professional for hardware issues.
okey i got u so it happened after i update my windows 10 to 11 soo i think there is no problem with physical connection . in addition I didn't even touch the UEFI settings, maybe it changed automatically?
I found a solution. By copying and pasting (transfering) the files from the SD card unto the laptop SSD internal drive, I was able to access the files in safe mode, albeit not being able to delete the files regardless of it being safe mode or not because the error turned out to be that several files were corrupted. Only the folder can be deleted regardless of it being in safe mode. The only solution is to file recovery with a recovery service since the corrupted files are zipped. I plan to delete some files and recover the rest of the files someday, although the recovery service is too expensive. Thanks for your help, though.

Inspect the drive for physical damage and make sure it is properly inserted, try a different port or computer. Check if it appears in Disk Management (Windows) or Disk Utility (Mac), and update drivers if necessary. If accessible, consider formatting the card, but be aware this erases all data. @@cleverfiles What worked was doing a windows update, then it was back, it was weird, but now I'm backing up!!!!
hii on disk drives section dont showing me my hard (toshiba) what can i do
Check physical connections and try different ports or cables. Access BIOS/UEFI settings to ensure the drive is detected. Use Disk Management to initialize or format the drive if it appears unallocated, and update or reinstall drivers via Device Manager. If the issue persists, try the drive on another computer or consult a professional for hardware issues.
okey i got u so it happened after i update my windows 10 to 11 soo i think there is no problem with physical connection . in addition I didn't even touch the UEFI
settings, maybe it changed automatically?
n u said reinstall drivers via Device Manager in this section has only my SSD
thank you very much
I can't find my D drive (SD card) on Windows 11 Safe Mode.
Please contact us at help@cleverfiles.com for further assistance.
@@RaffaelloLorenzusSayde how did u copy paste files from sd card to ssd drive?
@pedrochen3586 through the sd card slot. I have on my laptop. I transferred files from it unto the laptop's internal SD storage using file explorer.
@@RaffaelloLorenzusSayde but the thing is my sd card isnt showing on file explorer , because of it i cant tranfer the files from it into the internal storage
Thanks man i fixed it with reinstalling the driver ❤❤ you got a sub 😊😊
Thanks for the sub!
lol none of these worked for me. D drive is simply gone from every list. My disk management just shows my 500gb ssd (c drive) working fine, and then 3 empty partitions all called (Disk 0 Partition) 1, 2, and 3. So weird. I had a 1tb D drive that has disappeared. Ever since, my laptop takes ages to load into windows. Which is odd because windows is on my ssd. I have no clue whats going on lol

I'm having the exact same issue as you describe. My PC got turned off by a powercut and when I booted it went into an automatic update. Now when it boots there's no D: drive. Have you been able to solve it?
@@bobarotsUnfortunately not. Still have no idea what happened.
@@TheDeepSharePodcast I'm sorry to hear that. I've managed to get Device Manager to see my D: drive as an 'unknown drive' (not much help) but Disk Management is prompting me to Initialise my D: drive, as though it's new (which I'm hesitant to do as I may wipe the drive!)
@@bobarotsWell that certainly seems like a step in the right direction at least! Might want to ask someone whether it will wipe the drive or not. I gotta take mine so someone who knows more lol being stuck with 500gb for gaming and audio engineering is awful haha
Hey bro i need your help regarding my PC current performance and it's specs can you please guide me through it?

We offer a free recovery of up to 500 MB of your data if you use Disk Drill for Windows. Unfortunately, this option is not available for Mac users at this time.
We do guarantee the recovery of the files you can fully preview in the free version.

None of these are solutions... just clean the yellow copper of your disk with an eraser and the problem will disappear.👍

Thanks, I fixed, seems that it has to do with Bose Pc speakers self muting, once I unplugged power cable from Bose speakers, plugged back, all came Ok, that drive was internal backup SSD, strange and true, BTW, that Bose Pc speakers keeps disconnecting/muting itself. Thanks again@@cleverfiles
