Thank you took me over an hour to figure out why my M.2 wasn't working and it was literally just needing to format it in data management. This is something that really should be a part of the instruction booklet for those of us who aren't CS majors.
note: i had to activate the m.2 slot first, and then had to format it. so you and someone else on youtube saved me 200€ because i thought i had a faulty ssd. thank you very much

Guys remember to click the tab where it says (Primary Partition) not the left tab. I thought the "new volume" option was greyed out it turns out I just right clicked the wrong part of the Disk Management interface. Anyways, this helped a lot! thank you. You have my subscription

Watched the video to help out with a missing nvme drive that was working and stopped, and thankfully the advice provided worked, specifically the ATA Uninstall and restart. Re-downloaded the nvme samsung driver and was good to go again, so thank you for the help.
Spent an hour looking through articles and BIOS settings trying to figure out why I couldn't find my new m2, your video fixed all my problems within 2 minutes. Thanks!

You are a life saver. Why the hell wasn't any of this in the Corsair M600 documentation? You'd think spending over £210 on a 2tb state of the art drive would give you more than just "insert into MB and screw down"
I just wanted to thank you for this video. I was having tons of trouble getting my computer to detect a second m.2, I had no idea that the slots could be different. I spent 2 hours wrestling with BIOS trying to figure it out before coming here, and your suggestion of checking the slots was what fixed it. I swapped them around and it was instantly solved.

Thanks for this - always find installing new hardware so stressful and putting a M.2 into an 8 year old PC with unclear specifications was no exception. Of course once installed I boot into Win 10 and see no new drive, but luckily I knew enough to check device manager and to my relief it was present in there. Though at this point i'd forgotten what the next steps were so your video was invaluable. Opening DiskManagement automatically asked me to initialise the disk, and then it could be formated and all is good.
When I usually scroll through comments of videos to solve problems like these, I assume most of them are bots, as it doesn't ever help me, but this tutorial was very quick, simple, and straight to the point. Thank you very much!
