This is not helpful. It is not showing up in disk management. This happened after I upgraded windows 10. My one tb harddrive was reducted to less than 250gbs. Now i can't find the rest of it.

Thank You! After using 500g drive to install windows it dropped capacity to 32gigs, searched everywhere for solution and your tutorial was perfect and fixed my drive, thank you so much.

Great job. I was doing something easy but the YTer didn't explain it's important to cover all of your new drive when migrating an OS. Because of that, it only kept the space I covered.
It took a second to notice. It just looked like I had two small drives and even gave them the same name because it copied everything, even the name, but not the drive letter or other information.
I had to migrate the new OS and stuff onto a third drive... clear the other two, fix my unallocated drive space, then probably have to migrate the OS back to the expanded drive on SSD, to get back where I was, with the memory on the right drive, and all of the space.
If I format or initialize before I expand to a middle drive, I will have no OS when reseting and expanding the main drive.

Great video. Mine is a 256g ssd that shows as 2g and unfortunately foesnt show the rest of the space. Didnt fix my issue but nice detailed video

Hi,
I bought new " Fanxiang S880 M.2 2tb " and when i installed it i opened my windows to format it but i couldn't when i click ' right click ' all options are closed ( i can't shrink,format,etc...) and it writes for me " Disk pool"
(and my laptop reads it well)

You Do not want to do that unless you know what you are doing, as the C drive has all the windows installation files on it
