It’s not just for people who aren’t raising their kids. It can also be for single parents whose partner has passed away and they need extra help. It can also be for busy parents who spend time for their kids but still need someone there just in case something happens. Not all people who buy these apartments are just neglectful parents who don’t want to rase their children.
Thank you for this thoughtful comment. For us, it is a nice way to have our child at home for his first few years without having to go to daycare. Since we both work for ourselves, we can pop in and see him throughout the day, and that is really special. Also, one day (hopefully long time from now) if we needed a live-in caregiver as elderly adults, we could use the apartment for that purpose too!

If you aren't going to RAISE kids- dont have kids. People need to stop talking about HAVING kids and start talking about RAISING them.
