These No Bake Oatmeal Energy Balls make a great afternoon snack and they're also perfect for lunch boxes. Add this recipe to your weekend meal prep so you have them ready to go for a busy week. xo-Dani
Made this tonight for breakfast for this week. Traded chia seeds for the flaxseed, then accidentally melted my chocolate chips because i needed to warm up my P.B. actually came out pretty great! !! Thanks for posting this recipe!!! ♡♡♡ Trying to get myself and my family to be healthier.
I just made these ! Mostly with molasses instead of honey and they turned out AMAZING ! They really remind me of chocolate chip cookie dough and they are incredibly convenient especially for students. Thanks you so much and lots of love from Germany !
These are amazing!!! I did 1/2 the amount of peanut butter and 1/2 with almond butter and wow!! So yummy! My 2 year old loves them too!! (I make Mini ones for him) and these paired with apple slices for a snack and OMG HEAVEN!!!!! It almost doesn't seem like it can be healthy because it tastes SO GOOD!!❤️❤️
Just made these, they tasted delicious! I tried to figure out the quantities in grams because I'm from Belgium and we don't have measuring cups, they did hold pretty nicely and now they're in the freezer, can't wait!
Decided to make these today, but I had to improvise to remain as quiet as possible during hubby’s zoom meeting! Rather than peanut butter, I had organic pumpkin seed butter to use up, then added pumpkin pie spice instead of vanilla because pumpkin seed, right? Couldn’t easily find ground flax seed in my freezer but found ground chia seeds! Used maple syrup rather than honey. And used Skor bits mixed half and half with choc chips. Thank you for a recipe that still works with many substitutes and is still delicious! I promise to make your original recipe in the future! I enjoy your videos and recipes, Dani. Stay well!
Watched the video four times. Then on the fifth time, I was making these balls while watching you. Literally followed you. 😁 Thank you for this great recipe! 👍🏼
I just saw this post tonight and it looked so amazing I thought I would try it so I gathered all my ingredients measured them out put them in the bowl I did add one mashed very ripe banana to the bowl and then I realized instead of using one third of a cup of honey I had used one half of a cup so to try to compensate I added a little extra oatmeal some hemp seeds and a scoop of protein powder vanilla mixed them up and made them and I cannot keep my hands out of them they are delicious they taste like a banana peanut butter bread cuz I have bananas and peanut butter and all the nuts and seeds and chocolate and I did put a spoon of cinnamon but these are unbelievably good anyone who hasn't tried them needs to, and don't be afraid to add things in or take things out make it your own Danny has the greatest ideals thanks Danny keep up the wonderful work you doing
We love these! Thanks for the recipe. I make them at least twice a month...except we replace the flex seeds with coconut shreds because flax really upsets our stomach. They are delicious!
These are perfect for right now during this pendemic. Have it all on hand and I'm also 4 weeks wheat free due to an allergy. Thought I needed banana to make these and so I thank you dearly‼️😇
This recipe is absolutely delicious. I used maple syrup for half the recipe and honey for the other half. I am partial to maple syrup but both were delicious. TFS
OK...so I made these for healthy me. Unfortunately, my son (22) and his friends discovered them. (not really. I shared!) I love, love, love sweets. And this was a great thing to have in my fridge for those times when I might look for something else. Then I got to thinking that I wanted to try cutting down on the sweetness - they are VERY sweet. So, I made them today and put half of the honey in and the other half, I substituted 4 figs, 2 prunes, and a little water. I threw that in my processor before adding it to the mix. And guess what? I LOVED it! These are just so good. They taste like oatmeal cookie dough. Thank you for the recipe! And a question; my local health food store has a peanut butter maker. You just buy the peanuts and put them in the machine and peanut butter comes out. Anything different I should do for that kind of peanut butter? Thanks again! PS I love seeing your cute life on Snapchat too!
Just found you today! I have a small scoop so was only able to make 13 from my batch, but that’s ok by me as I can easily make another batch. I freeze all nuts and seeds; I then grind them in batches and put the ground items in the freezer too. I ended up with a mixture of ground chia and flax seeds along with a few tablespoons of hemp seeds to make the 1/2 cup needed. Delicious; I will make again! Now I’m off to look at more of your recipes!
That would work on so many levels. Apricots and seeds, cacao powder and some raisins or cranberries, grated or dried apple and cinnamon, little bit of pumpkin spice maybe. Yes! This is a great base recipe, I imagine this would be a great breakfast bar too if you just did it flat and sliced it up.
This one girl I know used to make and sell these! Then stopped! I was so upset! With my classes I want to start selling stuff like this! Thank you for your time!
I love how you talk on the video and I also love how you take the time to write everything down in the comments section so I don't have to enter in here how long to keep in the freezer etcetera Etc. Thank you very much I'm going to use all your videos to help my family get healthy
I made these as well last fall with vitamin c powder added and used Stevia & Truvia instead of sugars & chocolate chips to knock out the colds my kids were fighting off. It worked! They loved them so much & didn't know they were so healthy for them. Ha! Thank you for spreading the word that eating this way is great! Also made some using Cranberrys, coconut oil & coconut milk with the seeds & natural sweeteners w the vitamin c powder. YUM!
These came out great- thank you for this awesome recipe. The only thing I did different was replace the peanut butter for powdered PB. It’s a lot less fat. ♥️
Hello Dani, love your recipes. I saw this recipe at the back of the Trader Joe's Flax seed meal. It's called No Bake Energy Bites. Did not realize it's your recipe. I did this few times and even used matcha tea powder. Came out pretty good. Love no bake oats or bars. Tried several with nuts and seeds too with unsweetened shredded coconut and use coconut oil
Hi, My name is Dana, I'm from Israel and I'm a big fan of your work. My son is 15 and an athlete, and I have been making him your PB energy ball for months. His whole team loves it and I just wanted to let you know that since we are here in Israel, and we love halava and tehini, I sometimes swap the peanut butter for tehini. Combined with the honey, they taste like halava, and they're absolutely well, clean & delicious. I try to use sprouted, whole seaseme tahini, for that extra iron and calcium, and I hope you try it too. it's an Israeli spin for your already wonderful energy balls. Sincerely, Dana.
Also, flax seed is high in PUFA oils which are highly susceptible to oxidation, especially when heated during cooking. Flax seed is highly estrogenic as well. Use oat bran or something else in place of that potentially rancid ingredient.
These are amazing. They taste super delicious. I made them today along side your video. Super easy and fast to make. You have some wonderful recipes. This is my second recipe of yours to make. The first was the three ingredient banana, chocolate chip, and oatmeal breakfast cookie. Would we loved as well. Can’t wait to try more of your super delicious recipes. Keep up the great work.
Seriously, thank you so much, from a lazy man-child(me). Making foods you show are both easy and make me appear more of an sophisticated adult to my friends.
I been looking for a healthy snack to make and take with me on a cruise we are going on next month, this looks great, easy to make. I will pack in my suitcase with a cold pack and then put in our refrigerator in our room. Thanks so much.
hi Dani, been watching your channel for a while and have never commented but my son and I made this recipe today and they're delicious!! really enjoy your channel!
Scott Gabelman , Idk if it's her husband, relative or coworker... he was just helping her out and she was kinda mean (or maybe I'm just too sweet, lol)
I've made these before - same exact recipe! I love these and store them in my freezer. I didn't know that it is better to grind up chia seeds. I will do that next time. I make chia pudding a lot. Should I grind the chia seeds for my chia pudding as well? Thanks - great video as always!!💛
Dani....stumbled upon your channel, as I was looking for a similar no-bake healthy and omega-3 rich snack. I have a bad case of sweet tooth. Loved this no-bake solution. Wonderful recipe and it sure looks clean and delicious !! Question please....can be these be left outside or in a closed jar or zip-lock bags in the refrigerator, and in each case, how long before they lose their nutritional value? Thanks and regards, Swarna
How long will these last in the fridge? And thank you for giving several tips for variations. I have very low energy and feel tired most of the time, not wanting to do much of anything due to the lack of energy. So I know I need to get nutrient dense foods in my system.
You did a great job and your husband wanted the best for the viewers. Not sure where people get the idea or thought that there was tension between you and the camera ( your husband) those are normally the people that always either start of a sentence or statement with something negative or after complimenting they use the infamous "but"......... It was great and I made my batch while listen to your video ( not the live version) I used coconut flakes instead of chocolate chips, I am more of a coconut freak than a chocolate freak. LOL... Also added walnuts instead of the chunky peanut butter ( I used creamy, but still wanted that added crunch thats where the chopped walnuts found their way into the mixing bowl... Keep up the great chemistry between you and the camera man aka hubby.... LOL hope to catch live video one day.... all the best from NJ
Okay, I just made these, and they taste like cookies! So delicious and will satisfy my 3pm cravings perfectly! Thanks! I made them a little bigger (I got 15) so I only have to pack one. And, I froze them on plastic wrap so I can wrap them individually. Thanks so much!
Was looking for a recipe for these no bake cookies. So enjoy your informative posts and various bits of sharing. Will get the ingredients and make a batch tomorrow. Thanks so much. By the way, thanks for the explanation in one of your comments about your sharp retort to your husband. It made me nervous....even though I assumed that you were trying to keep focused on a lot of things when you are filming live. Thanks so much for taking the time to explain.
Nut butter tip* When you first open a jar of real nut butter most of the oil sits on the top. Use a stirdy chinese chop stick to slowly but thoroughly mix in the oil. After you use the nut butter, store the jar upside down in a cool dark place. If you don''t stir up the nut butter each time you use it, then you''ll have more oil in the first couple of uses and the rest gets really hard to use and spread.
Fun idea. A well known doctor said 77% of honey in the market is stripped of its greatness and sugar is added causing problems to the gut so he recommended manuka honey.
Be nice to the hubby! He seems like he really cares and wants to help!!!
lol! Was I too hard on him? I adore him. And he does care! And he's amazing!!
she wasn't mean to him..... everyone needs to chill out you guys are acting like she was screaming at him or something
Abby Szpekman she just needs a tripod lol
@@samanthalang4877 She had an arrogant condescending tone similar to your post. Great cookies though. Good job on that.
@@samualcrocket1405 OH PLEASE!!! STOP RUDE COMMENTS!!!

I made this during my meal prep this weekend ; I'll mostly like eat them as my pre-workout snack (I go to a bootcamp/HIIT style workout).
Clean & Delicious can i use saran wrap instead of parchman paper
Hi. I prefer omitting chocolate chips. What can use instead? I don't like them in my cookies. Thxs
Clean & Deliciou
I don't have flaxseed anything. Can I use chia seeds, and if so how much?
Made this tonight for breakfast for this week. Traded chia seeds for the flaxseed, then accidentally melted my chocolate chips because i needed to warm up my P.B. actually came out pretty great! !!

I LOVE molasses!!! ❤️
I will trt
I. Make this without the flax seed, I use 2 T chia seeds and 1/2. Cup unsweetened coconut flakes. Then I roll in chopped peanuts.
That sounds SO good!!!
Chia seeds need to be soaked in liquid for better digestion. I wouldn’t put them in this recipe.
Sounds amazing!
sky scope8 Really GTK!
Thanks to your hubby for trying to prevent us from being blinded by the strange light situation. He seems to be a patient and helpful man. Kudos!
Chia seeds definitely work. I make it with them.
Candace Rothholz cool and thanks for sharing. I didn’t have flax!
Candace how much do you use?
1/4 cup? I have a lot of chia seeds that need to be used up.😊
can you use hemp seeds?
These are amazing!!! I did 1/2 the amount of peanut butter and 1/2 with almond butter and wow!! So yummy! My 2 year old loves them too!! For those who may be interested, I tried using wheat germ vs. ground flax seed & it worked out very well.

Made these during the Christmas holidays and they were gobbled up quickly! Excellent recipe, and my healthy husband loved them!
We love these! Thanks for the recipe. I make them at least twice a month...except we replace the flex seeds with coconut shreds because flax really upsets our stomach. They are delicious!

I love how you include calories and all nutrition info in your videos!! Great videos!
I made these today!! Yummy 😋. but instead of flaxseed I used chopped pistachios and creamy peanut butter.
I’m making them right now I’m using chia seeds stead and cocoa stead of chocolate chips wish me luck 😀😀they taste so yummy 😋
Enedelia, how much Chia seeds did you use in this recipe? I have some that need to be used up.😊

Want to thank the camera guy...thanks for thinking of the viewer when the screen goes bright white...
X V agreed. We can feel the tension..
X V yeah, if it wasn't for him we wouldn't be able to see her. Am I the only one who thinks that her attitude with the camera guy wasn't the best?

Fenton Quandt don't know just got the ingredients and had it go....she is pretty professional at her craft and probably didn't mean anything. peace
Fenton Quandt it's her husband and she seemed straight forward not really rude
I've made these before - same exact recipe! I love these and store them in my freezer.
I didn't know that it is better to grind up chia seeds. I will do that next time.
I make chia pudding a lot. Should I grind the chia seeds for my chia pudding as well?
Thanks - great video as always!!💛
Chia is different because they absorb a lot, so I don't think you need to grind them.
Clean & Delicious Ah! Thank you! I was mixing up flax and chia seeds😄
I used organic black chia seeds and they had no ill effect on the outcome. Delicious thanks for a great after gym snack Dani! Nice work camera man :)
This was delicious!! I was on crunch time and followed you step by step. Thank you so much for this super quick recipe 💜💜 y’all are awesomeee
" Thanks for sharing this recipe for No Bake Energy Balls with your viewers, Dani, @

Love the recipes. Add a touch of mindfulness. Patience and graduate
The great thing about this recipe is that you can add what ever you want. I added chopped raisins. Next time I am going to add coconut flakes.
What type of peanut butter are you using - regular or natural, unsweetened? looks yummy - i cant wait to try it out
How long will these last in the fridge? And thank you for giving several tips for variations. I have very low energy and feel tired most of the time, not wanting to do much of anything due to the lack of energy. So I know I need to get nutrient dense foods in my system.
Can you buy flax seed already ground? Looks very yummy definitely going to gives these a try.
Awesome recipe! I’m definitely going to try it! Thanks a million for sharing 😊
Thanks for mentioning the measurements of the recipe in the description box.
Can I use chia seeds instead of ground flax seeds? :) Thanks!
I just tried this recipe , It was great, Thanks so much

These look delicious! Can't wait to make them! How long will they keep in the fridge or freezer?
Okay, I just made these, and they taste like cookies! So delicious and will satisfy my 3pm cravings perfectly! Thanks!
I made them a little bigger (I got 15) so I only have to pack one. And, I froze them on plastic wrap so I can wrap them individually.
Thanks so much!
TIP: if you're fructose-free (as honey and maple syrup still have fructose), use rice malt syrup. 😊
JUST MADE THESE WITH YOUR VIDEO IN THE BACKGROUND! Turned out great! Thank you!
Wow you answered my question about the seeds as soon as I was typing lol
I really enjoy watching your videos. I learned a lot. Thank you very much.
I love this recipe ! My daughters and I love make healthy snacks after their naps! This is one of our favorite snack to do together
my yoga teacher made these for us at school they were so good!!!!!!!
I have no many Oats I have no idea why I have so much this is a great way to get rid of some since I don't like Oatmeal.
I use oats raisins chia seeds ground flaxseeds almonds u can use dates instead of raisins enough to give it its sweetness
That sounds great. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Dani can you share some more quick dinner ideas please!! I've been watching your channel for 7 years now, love you so much!!!!
yes!
Great ingredients and sound yummy! I'm going to have to try them out! 😊
Thanks for always sharing amazing recipes 👌👍😋
can we substitute quinoa flakes for the oats? I love your recipes and videos. I just made your buffalo chicken chili..delicious
I bet that would work.
I made this but modified the recipe and they are delicous
Can you use regular sized chocolate chips or does that make it harder to roll? These sound great and I want to make them since our oven is broken.
+Milfweed Furney great tip!! 😊
Thanks!
Love ! Is there a replacement for oats ? And isn’t dates a good replacement for sugar . Yum tho !!
They look so great I can't wait to try them. How many would you say is a serving? One or two?
2 of them would make a good little snack.
They are my favorite and Hubs too
Fun idea. A well known doctor said 77% of honey in the market is stripped of its greatness and sugar is added causing problems to the gut so he recommended manuka honey.
holistic79 definitely but few can actually afford Manuka- it’s extremely expensive
holistic79 most farmers markets have local, raw ,unrefined honey for those who can’t afford manuka.
Hi I made these! So quick and easy to make and delish!
Thank you for sharing they look delicious. And thank you for thinking about our eyes when it's to bright.
