Hi Danny, you have helped me so many times with tips and recipes, it's time for me to return the favour. You should not dissolve the creatine in hot drinks. While hot drinks dissolve creatine very efficiently it also accelerates the degradation of creatine into creatinine, an inactive by-product. This process, known as thermal degradation, means that the longer creatine is exposed to heat, the more it degrades. So by adding it to your hot coffee and drinking it slowly you are basically not taking creatine. Cheers!
@@CleanandDeliciousDani I usually mix it with the yogurt that I use with my stove top granola (from your recipe). The granola is so rich in flavours and textures that the creatine is totally undetectable.
Hi Dani, this is my first time seeing your video, and I'm impressed! I just ordered the LMNT and got my freebies...thanks for that. I'm about to turn 68 and am diabetic and overweight. I'm planning to retire in two years and want to get healthy to enjoy my retirement. I'm raising my 20-yr-old grandson, who's also overweight. His mom passed away 3 years ago, so I'm his guardian. I'm gonna make more of an effort to exercise regularly, and make more healthier meals for us. I will be watching more of your videos to learn how to make healthier meals and snacks for us. I'm so happy that I found you and want to say thanks for sharing with us! 🙂
Hello there, I'm pretty OG viewer, 10 years ago, I weighed 50 kg more than I do now, and I watched your recipes then and I thought, I'd never be able to eat like that, 10 Years later seeing your videos now with this new lifestyle, you're genuinely one of the best channels to really eat to fuel and nurture your body.
I can't believe you're 48, you have the most beautiful skin I've ever seen! Im pushing 52 and in the best shape of my entire life. The second half can definitely be the best half! Thanks for all the great info.
I love your easy to understand and inspiring videos. I also love your mantra of being determined to feel better in the second half of your life than you did in the first. I'm already 68, so well passed my first half, but I'm always learning, and I exercise several times a week and do feel better than when I was younger.
Dani, you are 100% right. I honestly cant believe how since i started eating more clean, the more food ive actually been consuming a lot more food and its made me feel good instead of bad.
I love this! Im on my fitness journey as well. Obsessed with food preps and eating whole foods. My fibromyalgia pain and symptoms gone, IBS gone, i lost 16lbs and im muscled up and dang proud!!!!
Can I ask, what do you think helped the most in your transition from fibro and ibs? My doctors told me over 15 years ago no higher than 1% milk. The last 2 years I've stayed away from cow milk other than the occasional goat milk. Usually oat, almond or coconut. Removed many go to's that were highly processed, cancer causing ingredients along with corn starches/syrup additives. I'm still not figuring it out 🙈 Only thing that has helped.. is Mexico. After much research it's the tropical air along with high elevation.
This is so great! So many helpful tips and validation that eating whole, fresh food does not have to be time consuming and stressful. I love how you have adapted your meals around your kids busy schedules. You continue to be an inspiration…thank you for doing what you do. You have helped me so much. ❤
Great suggestions! I really like everything you recommended. However, it does seem like most people who do health and fitness videos don’t talk about having to get three kids awake, fed, lunches made, and get themselves out of the house and to their own jobs by eight in the morning.
Hey Dani thanks so much for sharing this. I'm 42 and have been struggling w hormonal weight gain. My 2 main focuses are eating more protein and produce and strength training. Do you share your strength training videos also?
I make your slow cooker shredded chicken every week, ever since you first posted the recipe. It's so simple and so versatile! This has quickly become a staple in my house.
Chicken causes colorectal cancer and fatty liver and diabetes and comes from agritortured gmo sentient baby franken animals. Just eat fresh fruits and veggies and nuts and seeds and melons and berries and seaweeds and lentils. Read Dr Michael Greger's books How Not to Die and How Not to Age.
I love this lady, you make eating, not only healthy, but also fun. It is exactly what I needed today, to get myself back on my journey to good health. Thank you for all the wonderful tips I gleaned from this video.
HI Dani! Thank-you so so much for making this video! I was trying to find ways to increase my protein because I'm lifting more weights as well but I find it difficult to eat over 100g of protein a day. So thank-you for the meal prep ideas...I want to give that big pancake a try! I also like how you prep it beforehand!
Same! It definitely takes some thought and planning to get all of the protein in (at least for me, it does!), but I am feeling really good, so it's worth the effort. As for the pancake, I recently tried Kodiak pancake mix as the base (in place of the Almond Flour Simple Mills brand I was using before!) and I think it's even or delicious! So if you plan to try it, you may want to keep that in mind. Enjoy!
I'm 47 but I'll be 48 soon. I've made the same decision to go into my 50's better as well! I've been struggling this past week with this new journey! I can't get in enough protein!! Thanks for this video! New sub! 😊
Just be aware that the protein from collagen powder is not a complete protein and should not count toward your daily protein goal. I used to do this too! Learned this from Autumn Bates, clinical nutritionist / human performance

I just found your channel and immediately subscribed after watching. I'm in my mid 50s and your protein and calorie goals are about the same as mine. I'm also determined to be healthier and more fit in this phase of my life. I like your food choices and love of coffee! I will be making that pancake for sure. Thanks for the great ideas.
I love these style of healthy eating videos! ❤ & I love LMNT I put half the chocolate salt in my coffee with a little maple syrup and splash of milk and it’s amazing!
Just got diagnosed with an autoimmune at 48 yrs (effects a lot more women). Already had hormone issues because of menopause . Had to cut out dairy , nightshades and gluten ! I’m all in on the healthy Whole Foods, but I will never use anything from a package / processed even minimally !
This was great and so realistic! My life ( and taste in food) is very similar to yours. I have a 14 and a 17 YO and I love the idea of packing a healthy container of food to bring with when on the go in the evenings. Thanks for the great videos! ❤❤❤
I’ve heard you can’t technically count collagen towards your daily protein intake, because it’s not a complete protein. ( Not a complete amino acid profile.) What are your thoughts? Thanks!
I count it - there are many foods that are non-complete proteins (ie. nuts, seeds beans, legumes) that I still count towards my protein goals- BUT - that's just me.
Thank you for this video! Your meals look delicious and colorful. I'm amazed at how much you eat, but like you said, when you eat whole, real food, you can eat more.
I'm 49. Doing intermittent fasting, high protein, low carb, whole foods, no ultra processed food, no refined sugars etc. I've chosen this lifestyle in order to lose 120lbs that crept on over 23 years of rheumatoid arthritis and accumulated joint damage. I'm eating between 140 and 180g of protein a day. I'm also doing some strength training, or at least as much as my joints can handle. I walk with crutches, so a lot of stuff I'd like to do is out, but I've been making progress. I've dropped about 36lb in 4 months and have found it relatively easy. One of my favourite meals is to cook up 170g of lean beef mince (5% fat) with some spices, mix it with 50g of kefir and wrap it in a plain 2 egg omelette. I might throw a bit of mozzarella in there too. I'll serve it with an avocado and leafy green salad with a drizzle of apple cider vinegar. If I have that for dinner around 6 or 7pm, I'm not even vaguely hungry until around 1pm or 2pm the next day.
Hey Dani, I don’t have an espresso maker. How would I make steamed half and half without equipment or with some other equipment? Sorry if I posted this twice. I’m an idiot with electronics. Thanks
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the "natural flavors" in the LMNT products aren't natural. It's a chemical compound that starts with an actual flavor, so there are artificial flavors in those products.
And the citric acid is MSG. Citric acid is one of the 50 secret names for MSG. A preservative. A neuron toxin to the nervous system. Companies think that they can secretly add this to their products. ITs deceiving I feel. This is my opinion. But most people do not truly know the ingredients.
Awesome, just wanted to add, I have seen some research that indicates you should not take creatinine with caffeine, as it reduces absorption? What are your thoughts on this ? Thank you .
I need to make your broccoli cheese casserole again soon - and I'll add the cottage cheese for sure! Also, that last plate you made with the popcorn and peppers, etc, looks SO good. I need to slice my peppers ahead of time and make that plate for my last meal of the day. Thanks!
Dani, you look absolutely radiant!! Thank you for this inspiring, encouraging video. I am so motivated to help my body during perimenopause - and it's astonishing just how much protein we need in this season! Please also share your strength training and skincare routines :)
I LOVE LMNT and although its expensive, I use 1 packet sometimes over 1-3 days. I can't do the entire packet, too salty so I can easily stretch out a 30-day supply. Love the Grapefruit!
Dani, so many great takeaways! I love your channel and recipes, they are always a hit. The biggest lesson from this video was PUT, IT, ON, A PLATE!!!!! Thank you again and be well.
Wow, I’m 48 and my son is 30! So Dani, I know we all have different lifestyles. I’m trying to increase my protein and I work an 8-5 job where I sit at a PC all day, but go directly to the park afterwards and walk until I finally hit 5,000 steps which takes about an hour. I’d love any suggestions on food to take on the go to the office. And I’m super excited to try that salty cafe mocha at work! Thanks for your videos ❤️
I was so impressed and surprised at how much food it was and way less calories than I expected. I like the idea of high protein but still getting in fruits and vegetables. I tried a high protein diet once and it limited those very basic needed elements. I also just ordered the LMNT. Thanks for the code. I can’t wait to try it.
I enjoyed this and it’s helpful! I would love to know what brand of collagen you’re using with your morning coffee. I’ve heard soooooo many differing opinions about collagen absorption, types, and brands-it’s confusing!
I have a loved one at home that likes to put every spice and sauce into their dishes. I love their enthusiasm and desire to cook but I often have to remind them that sometimes less is more. I love the salt, pepper and garlic powder tip! Great video!
Hi Dani, I just started watching you. I love your message. I love your recipes. Plus I am visual, so when I found out you had a cook book, I was excited. I ordered it and love it. I am taking your advice and not jumping in with both feet, instead, I am trying a recipe here and there till I clean up my act. We did your burrito bowl tonight and love it and I do feel full and satisfied. I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your ideas. I am 74 and I just need to get off the sugar and lose about 20 or 30 pounds. Maybe then I can get off the heart medicine.
I'm at my desk all day. Yes, I want to change that, but as of right now, I am too tired after work to exercise. Should you not eat this much protein if you are not exercising?
Hi Dani. Wondering if you could give me some advice. I'm an 81 year vegetarian and I know that I am low on the protein. I do eat some quorn products and baked beans and pulses. I'd be very grateful for any tips. Thank you x
WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE?!?!? I just found your channel tonight. Man, I have some catching up to do. You have some great content! Thanks for sharing all of these fantastic ideas!!
This was so helpful. Please share more videos like this….I will be watching again. Where are the pickles from? Yum to it all. Thank you for being so honest and real. ❤
Hi Dani, as always, great meal planning, great ideas, great sound advice. I also need to increase my protein intake so this is just perfect for me. I will check out LMNT. I don't drink enough water throughout the day so this can really help me. Thanks a bunch!! 😊
Watched your videos years ago but somehow lost track of you. Glad I found you again. Can you tell me what you think a good amount of protein intake should be for me, I’m a 78 year old grandmother in good health but I do want to lose some weight! Thanks
It has a lot to do with life style. I am very active (4-5 strength training sessions per week + 10-12K steps a day). You really want to focus on increasing protein, fat, and fiber and being mindful about carbohydrate intake if you are diabetic. I would ask your doctor for some resources - there are a lot of good ones out there.
Hi Dani, I bought your book on Amazon as soon as it came out. I love your videos. I love your ideas on Healthy Eating. And you look like you are 40 not 48. Wow. Obviously, your ideas work! Thank you for all the videos.😊😊😊
Love this video and can't wait to try the egg bake! I've bee trying to incorporate more protein into my diet as well. I'm transitioning from a plant-based diet. I've started to eat eggs, salmon, dairy again but I'm really struggling to get the requisite protein without weight gain. Appreciate you sharing your journey! More of this type of content would be fabulous!
Dani thank you for more great ways to eat, love them and easy for me to take to work and control weekend eating. Wow your children are teenagers that went too fast. Take care you look great. thank you for helping someone who is 63 years young feel better also.
I’d also like to see your workout plan. I need something I can do at home I think…as much as I’d like to do the gym, it’s just not feasible in my life right now. Thanks!!

Dani, excellent video! I make your shredded chicken often to simplify my week and appreciate the other meal prep ideas too! I appreciate the breakdown as I’m trying to reach 100g of protein per day and sometimes struggle. I’ll try the LMNT too because I’m working to increase my water intake. I’d love to hear more about your strength training breakdown across 4-5 days. I strength training 3 days per week (total body each time) because that works with my schedule (personal training with a coach 2x/week and then another session on my own. I absolutely love the confidence boost, goal setting and endorphin benefit of strength training. How do you incorporate a rest day and do you do other movement on the off days? Thanks again. Always love your content!
Hi Dani! What kind of turkey do you use? Also, I’ve always been confused about electrolytes because of the sodium. Can you explain that? Thank you, and have a great weekend!
Sodium gets a bad rap because of concerns about heart health and blood pressure. The government recommends consuming less than 2.3 grams of sodium daily, ostensibly for heart health. However, other studies found that 5 grams daily was the sweet spot for heart health. That said, most of the salt (over 70%) Americans consume comes from processed foods, which are also loaded with trans fats, sugars, and artificial ingredients. If you eat a diet high in processed food, consider your sodium intake is likely too high. But if you’re eating a whole-food diet, you probably need to add salt to your meals. Otherwise, you risk electrolyte imbalances and their unpleasant side effects. I always recommend you do your own research and make choices that feel best for you! XO
I paused the video at 5:23 min to hop online at LMNT to get my free sample pack. I've done before for another TH-camr's offer. It's such a good deal at only $20! it does taste salty. Wish I had that cute cup, Dani :) LMNT is the best hangover cure- Drink day before. No headache! :) :) :P
I can do this for me but what do you do about the rest of your family including husband for their breakfast and lunch and dinner? Do you prepare different food for them so you are preparing many different meals? I can’t nor do I want to do that. Is it all grab and go for each person? Please help! Thx! Love your videos and recipes and meal prep hints!
Im going to be 45 this year. Loved this video. One question. Do you use a tracking app? I started using one to track Macros but I feel like it can become an obsession for me especially when I'm tracking, and the scale doesn't move at all. I have been stuck at same weight since Jun 23rd (lost 5 initially), and I wonder if counting this stuff is making it harder on me mentally. I also struggled to get enough protein in for the day. Some days I would count, and be under my calories and not hungry. Some days I would be at my calories for the day and feeling too full. It's so confusing so should I stop all that and just enjoy clean eating and aim for protein at each meal/snack?

Thanks
The collegen isn’t a complete protein but it’s great for Hair and nails
Love your channel!
Don’t know how you drink coffee in the afternoon without waking at 3am
Meal prep is the answer!!🙌
I could drink coffee and go right to sleep - it doesn't really affect me. Strange, I know!
Thanks for sharing as I m on a high protein diet too and very healthy oriented so these ideas are gonna help with meal prepping
“The natural flavors are either from distilled or extracted fruits, roots, and spices….” This is what I found with a google search.
Thanks for this heads up re the natural flavors... in LNMT
@@mickimeeks118 don’t need to kill animals to have protein… the vegetables has enough protein and they give you a better health… 😮
@EbonyBrewer . Good looking out!
Don’t be sorry for speaking out.
Awesome, just wanted to add, I have seen some research that indicates you should not take creatinine with caffeine, as it reduces absorption? What are your thoughts on this ? Thank you .
Hey Dani, I'd love to see what your kids eat in a day or packed lunches for teenagers. Love from Germany
This is tough because they make much of their own food at this point, but perhaps I can share some lunches. I'll still pack those!
I need to make your broccoli cheese casserole again soon - and I'll add the cottage cheese for sure! Also, that last plate you made with the popcorn and peppers, etc, looks SO good. I need to slice my peppers ahead of time and make that plate for my last meal of the day. Thanks!
Very inspiring. I also love lmnt but was writes out by the chocolate flavors. But now I’m going to try it in a coffee and see!
Wow! So good to still see you on the tube. Due to the TH-cam algorithms I lost track of you and just now came across this video.
I'm at my desk all day. Yes, I want to change that, but as of right now, I am too tired after work to exercise. Should you not eat this much protein if you are not exercising?
You probably don' need this much if you are not actively trying to build muscle.
What collagen powder do you use? Mine comes in at 10 grams of protein per serving.
Love this video!! You look AMAZING. I am trying to plan a high protein meal prep! Thank you, please keep these coming. 😊
We're the same age!!! That makes me happy!
When fear comes knocking at your door, you must answer it with faith. Nothing else is effective against it.
Well said. 🙂

Faith over fear

Hi Dani. Wondering if you could give me some advice. I'm an 81 year vegetarian and I know that I am low on the protein. I do eat some quorn products and baked beans and pulses. I'd be very grateful for any tips. Thank you x
What collagen do you use? Please and thank you!
Thank you! I'm definitely fighting to hit that high protein goal for body recomp. Every tip is very much appreciated.
Hi Dani - do you know your total macro-nutrient breakdown for a day to go along with the 140g of protein?
It's my pleasure. I'm so glad it was helpful - and yes! While LMNhas MANY benefits, I like that it helps me to drink more water.
Is collagen protein a perfect protein? Can it be counted in your protein total?
First time I’ve watched and so happy I found you! Keep the high-protein meal ideas with prep coming❤
Love the noshing snack plate idea and the intention around it! Thank you for the ideas. Your coffees look amazing!
Too much caffeine imho. What about some matcha green tea occasionally
Looks great! Don’t be afraid of carbs-it’ll help with muscle growth and strength gains❤
Just turned 48 today, these recipes look great, I'll be trying these.
Watched your videos years ago but somehow lost track of you. Glad I found you again. Can you tell me what you think a good amount of protein intake should be for me, I’m a 78 year old grandmother in good health but I do want to lose some weight! Thanks
Is your food advice good for people who are pre-diabetic and diabetic ?
It has a lot to do with life style. I am very active (4-5 strength training sessions per week + 10-12K steps a day). You really want to focus on increasing protein, fat, and fiber and being mindful about carbohydrate intake if you are diabetic. I would ask your doctor for some resources - there are a lot of good ones out there.
Hi can you tell me more about the collagen you use?
Hi Dani, I bought your book on Amazon as soon as it came out. I love your videos. I love your ideas on Healthy Eating. And you look like you are 40 not 48. Wow. Obviously, your ideas work! Thank you for all the videos.😊😊😊
Latest bloodwork showed I'm on the diabetic pathway with my current diet..oh no way...this channel is fantastic and great motivation! Thank you!
which coffee to get more energy or any specific way to make it? and also how to avoid headache from frying food?(fume)
Hi Dani, love your videos. Do you mind telling me what protein powder you use in your morning coffee?
The collagen I am currently using is 1st Phorm.
Love this video and enjoy watching you on your journey! What creatine powder do you use? Thanks so much!
This is the one I am using -> amzn.to/3Yf1Amf
What kind of coffee machine is that that makes such a nice foam!!!!!????
Thanks!!
Thank you for another great video. I’ll definitely be making these recipes. They look delicious! What vanilla whey protein powder do you use?
I am always experimenting with different protein powders!

@@CleanandDeliciousDani Thank you!
XO
@@CleanandDeliciousDani thank you so much! I’ve never found a clear answer. This makes sense.
@@Ashley-jr1nm Also! As for turkey, I like Applegate.
Processed meat, unfortunately is the number one food cause of cancer. I’d stick to 1-2 servings of it a week!
OH my God,Your Videos Never Ever Disappointed, Very Healthy Receipe and Very Helpful people Whole The World 🌎,God Bless You and Your Family 👏
Kimchee rules! Lmnt does too. Great video. Thanks for sharing. My fav was the variety plate at the end. 👚 ⬅️put it on a shirt 😂
So glad ur channel came across my feed! Fixing to be 48 and have a hard time hitting my protein!
