Just tried these and it was great. Didn't have almond butter but I made my own, added almond and coconut oil in my bullet to make it. Didn’t have dates so I used crab raisins, added a little honey and boom I don’t need to buy chocolate no more. Thanks a million

These are absolutely amazing, sticky and chewy like a raw brownie. I've been feeding them to my boyfriend on the go or when we have early morning meetings and it has the same effect energy-wise as a cup of coffee. On a blind taste test you wouldn't know you were eating something healthy! I never dared eat dates before I saw your videos. Thanks Ella!

Made these with 50/50 of walnuts and pecans bc I didn’t have any almonds on hand. Toasted them beforehand and let them cool.
Also used 60 grams of crunchy peanut butter instead of almond butter and coconut oil.
Rolled a few of them in tocos powder to bump them up to “Beautifying Balls” 😂
Tried one before putting them in the refrigerator and they are amazing! 🤤 ❤
Was able to make 24 servings ❤
    Thank you! ❤

Thanks for this yummy recipe! For those who have hard dates just like I had, my tip for you would be to soak them in hot water for like 30mins before mixing with everything else. Then instead of putting cacao powder in the recipe, you can try rolling the completed balls in the powder so they're not sticky from the soaked dates. That's what I did and they were yum :)

The dates would add a LOT of carbs to these, if you're not aware.
I'm looking at the recipe and wondering how to 1) eliminate the dates and 2) bump up the protein. A protein powder/collagen powder may work, but will be drying. So the dates need to be replaced with something sticky and low-calorue sweet. I think I've seen a syrup by NuNaturaks--chocolate woukd work since there's cacao; but they have an unflavored and a vanilla, I think.
It's an interesting recipe, but the dates are an issue for those watching carbs.

OK...my bad. This is the first time I have ever bought or used dates. Followed the steps. And while making the balls...found there were PITS in the dates. I did not know, have never been a date girl. So! Glad I found this before serving to the fam. They are really yummy!! OK just rewatched...you do say add pitted dates...missed that. First time for everything! lol
