Hell yeah Im still learning also but patience comes first 😁 thanks I appreciate it I Will be buying something New for the channel for this rc race this summer
Easy peeezy with the last jato. Your low needle lean it 1 or 2 hours. Let it wake up a bit more on the low needle. 👊😎 That sound your hearing that sounds like fuel pounding in the pipe at low revs needs to be cleaned up just a bit. 👍👍
@@RedsWay-hz6np The low needle is flush stock. What is your settings set to and needle gap. I set my idle gap at .7 or smaller. As small as I can get it and the low needle is 1 and 1/4 out from closed. My high needle is 5 ish turns out. The clutch I use is the bidirectional version via Hotracing. The clutch needs stronger springs. Because it drags a bit. But my low speed will roost the wheels instantly like crazy fast. I set them this way so the engines heat up fast and Rip Super hard. Watch Woogie Nitro. Watch how his jato performs and you’ll see the snap he can find out of a 3.3. The sound blows me away. I still have a hard time tuning a car like he does but dang I can get them to their full potential. Just keep leaning the low. Let the idles raise up You’ll know when you’ve went to far the car will roost like crazy and instantly die. That’s if you go to far. Just remember these engines like to scream through both low and high speeds ☺️👍
@@RedsWay-hz6np Most people have the high speed to lean to help the low speed have some impact. So the low has some torque But the high speed can be set super crazy rich and there still be a snappy low speed If the high speed is to leaned out then the low needle won’t be able to be set to its potential because the high sucks the low speed dry and causes it to be set crazy rich so the needles balance themselves. I’m a nut shell you’re almost balanced. I’d say rich the high a bit but only after you get the low speed snapping with power.
@rcsendandblast1579 ok I'll check u out I'm at work at the moment I just need sum weather tonight back out in I need new filters and fuel lines I think
I'm trying to get it to that point but it's taking too long and killing my gas bottle sometimes I'll just make big turns to Lean it just cause I get impatient
Aite Broski's I Will 😁 take engines off and lube degreaser stuff order 2 new carbs and maybe air filters but Will have to cutt plastics working on savage rite now also amazon bringing new spur gear today and order a new motor mount be here on Friday e needing maintenance bad how do u do your maintenance
Take it slow bro rc is most definitely is supposed to be a release hobby so just put that energy into your rcs maybe wrenching a lil bit and do a couple test before u run so when u do pull it out it's where it needs to be so that u can enjoy it when ever u decide to run..stay at it folks💪🏿
Yo what up so u right I was just saying I need to start maintenance on them like Im supposed to I always run hard and never do anything after just put back makes sense to test before so I'll have a good run I be moving to fast.. y'all interested in even seeing me wrench?? One question what's a good rc maintenance job I need to order sum new stuff probably
@@RedsWay-hz6np can't tell u too much about the traxxas but all nitro engines run off the same principle..keep u some after run oil if u don't got none a drop or too every time u run is the way ..get u some good rc tools when u can and buy parts in advance thats gone help u the most . Focus on one at a time . I'd work on your jato first ..u believe u got 2? Just get them to the point they all was ready to go nothing broke or missing..get to where u want or where u see it ..keep good gas and fresh plugs ..have more then one glow igniter if u can the dynamite one is the shit ..I'll do a lil video on what I'm saying here
@allaspectsrc4178 ok bro I understand now guess I better get my credit card out today but I do have after run oil may need another bottle but got enough for a minute these things are high maintenance lol but its cool keeps me busy from the most part, trying to fix savage 2 just ordered sum stuff the other day but like U said 1 at a time.... Good looking out 👊🏿
@MichaelGray-ct6hb right 😂 I e got a boat also its brushless 3s pretty fast bought it for the channel but did more nitro... Clyde won't lean seems like he has a long way to get Lean trying to decide if I need new carbs or just more leaning out Ls needle is flush right now and seems like it's Rich Ls also dont no what's going on
Vp racing maybe the nitro percentage may be different I'm usually using 25 percent in have 20 this Time I'm about to buy 2 new carbs these may be old and wore out
Nice rip. Nitro has taught me to have patience. Hang in there, patience brother, patience…. I tell myself this every time. Lol, I’m still learning.

Didn't mean to put that up there 😂
The orange jato still seems a little rich on top
@michaelgraham2943 I think so too trying to Lean it but seems like it's stuck on rich
Haha! Love the thumbnail!
Bonnie went flying 😂😂😂😂 tried hitting brakes that I didn't have she's ok and in one piece
Haha I know how that is. I go from running my trucks to running my boat and be looking for the brakes lol. Sounds like Clyde runnin a little rich

Did you use the same fuel in all the cars? If so it might be a fuel issue.

@@RedsWay-hz6np a good carburetor makes a world of a difference!
@user-gp1sx7mr3e what is a good one or just buy another Traxxas jato carb stock one
One with no factory defaults
@user-gp1sx7mr3e carburator?
Wait, ain't you supposed to get airborne???
Not with the JATOs they won't hold up I save that for the savage 😭😭😭 but if it happens it happens 😁
