  • In today's episode, we attach a Roku Streambar to an already-mounted TV. To do this, we needed to add a couple of brackets so the soundbar would look all nice and neat. After all the hardware is attached, we go through the setup to make sure audio is pumping through the new soundbar and NOT the TV speakers.

Sadly... roku tv and roku streambar setup seems more confusing than just using streambar as roku on a OFFBrand tv. My Westinghouse roku tv didn't get that unutial setup screen, I had to manually fool around for half hour. And don't try to setup using optical, cuz u can't see roku bar on screen to put in internet info. The roku wireless speakers and subwoofer hook right up tho no problem

If you had actually read the instructions instead of tossing them aside like you knew what you were doing, Mounting Dreams tells you to mount the bottom brackets to the back of the Roku Streambar Pro first (using the single hole in the bottom of the bracket), then line up the upper brackets with the holes under the TV mounting brackets. With spacers, you don't even need to use two mounting holes for each bracket, just one will do. Mounting Dream actually has their own video to show how to use this mounting bracket: th-cam.com/video/oYpUeQ4uj34/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=MountingDreamOfficial.
I bought this same bracket and mounted my Roku Streambar Pro with no bracket sticking out because I followed the instructions.
You should just delete this video as it's completely wrong...
