The streambar clashes with Roku TVs, maybe that's why remote doesn't work, may run into an issue with adding wireless speakers as well

The remote was DOA. The second remote I received paired pretty easily. Because of how they pair there's little chance, if any, of clashing.

Question is a eARC the same as a ARC ?

eARC will work with ARC as ARC just not enhanced audio.
