Thanks for sharing! I can tell you because I use the Forever Dark Transfer paper regularly that the Teflon is where you're going wrong. You need to have enough heat get through to the transfer & the Teflon is blocking it. Also, with the glossiness, if you press it again (under paper) it will take the glossiness away :) The reason your paper stuck was because you peeled the vinyl off of the transfer medium and then pressed it again. Hopefully I have explained this well enough 💖
Looked like wax paper?
Your explanation is the most clear and concise I have seen.
I love that your crafting community blesses you and sends you stuff 💓 all these products lol I can’t keep up! So glad you and other crafters are doing it for the rest of us ❤️ only 200 or so away from 20K! So excited for you!
Thank you, Brandi! OMG! I can't believe 20K is no longer in the far distance. I'm humbled, thankful & overwhelmed. 😳 I appreciate your support and motivation. 💕
That is so kind that they gifted it to you!
Hey Shayna! Yep! She works at my feeder school.
Excellent review. I love that you tried your best to like this vinyl and gave your honest opinion.
💙💜❣💙💜❣💙💜❣💙💜❣
Thanks so much!
Thank you for trying this out for us:) It really helps us decide what to spend our money on and what not to spend our money on.
That’s what makes it worth trying! 💕 Thanks for watching!
Really Nice review what a blessing of a gift. New to YT you were in The Bestuni live today. So Glad she mentioned your channel. Great Video keep up the GOOD WORK
Welcome to YT! Thank you so much for watching! 💕
Thank you for this review. I was thinking that there had to be some kind of work around to sublimate on darker colors. I admire your patience with it!
Thank you, Barb! 💕
I use this product quite often. It’s important to let it cool down before removing the carrier sheet. On the black shirt, the use of the parchment paper is where you went wrong. You could have used the butcher paper and it would have released just fine. The purpose of the 10 sheets is to give direct pressure in the area of the image.
Thanks for the tips...At the end, I used butcher paper and it worked fine. I totally understand about adding pressure to the area. However, it's too many steps for large orders. Thanks for watching.
Heyyy y’all Thank you so much for this. You are better then me cause I gave up lol 😂 the one I printed is on my craft table lol I’m going to try it tonight thanks to you.
Hey sis ! Nice video I’m glad you are doing a video about this transfer.
Hey Alain!
@@CraftableThings hi sis! I just got my hats press I’ve order and mugs as well so I will be doing some work and post a little.
Thanks for the review. Definitely looks like "slip and fall" but the colors look good!
Tracey
Tracey!!! Thank you so much for watching until the end 💕😂😂 It really does feel like a slip and fall waiting to happen.
I’ve been trying to decide which to use for cotton T-shirt’s. And this came right on time. I’m only concern is the washing after look and feel. I like sublimation cause I work with many colors on one print. So layering with vinyl is “no bueno.”
Thanks so much for the mistake that you kept in the review. Nice that you redid it to show the actual final results. That’s dedication. I’ll keep searching for best way to print on cotton.
Weeding & layering vinyl...NO BUENO!!! Thank you for watching!
Ooooo love how many blanks you have!! Let us know if you need anymore :) Great video!
Thank you so much! Will do!
Thank you so much for this video. I see we belong to the same club: I had a bypass this past January. I've been trying to cover up my scar, but my husband says to wear it proudly, that I'm a survivor. Thanks for the fine example.
Oh, be proud!!! You survived and that, along with the scar is beyond beautiful! Thank you for reminding me to be thankful today...thankful that I'm still here to share and thankful that somehow on this day, you saw a video where I didn't cover up. You got this! God bless you!
@@CraftableThings I call this a God Wink moment, a point in time where He brings people together to remind them that He is in control! God has blessed us with each moment we awaken. Bless you!
Lol you acre hilarious Patrice-you were very ginger in your feedback. You have more patience than me- In my head I was like oh no not the butcher paper lol.
Oops meant are
Kimber!!! Most people don't get my humor! Thank you!
A great do's and don't video. Thx.
Thank you for watching!
I need to get a silhouette product to be able tob print n cut. Do you recommend the criket or cameo? Not sure what the difference is.
Thanks for sharing this!!! Was looking at glitter vinyl but sometimes don't want glitter, so this is great.
Love how thorough you are.
I prefer Cricut. However, Cameo cuts larger print then cut images.
1st time here! 💖
Welcome!!! I’m glad that you’re here! 💕
I purchased the sheets from Pro World. The video said the 10 sheets of copy paper is for pressure. I only used it once because I didn't think it adhered to the shirt well. Will try again.
Thanks for sharing, Marquita!
Heyyyyy girl! ♡♡
Hey sis!!! I miss you! I pray all is well 💕💕💕
what cricut cut setting did you use?
Great video
Thank you!
Just a thought. If the first press is for the purpose of laying down the vinyl maybe you should use the vinyl process, e.g. lower temp. Then increase the temp to 400 for the second pressing. Don' t know if this would work or not. Too bad it is so expensive or I would try to test my theory.
I'll definitely try that, Carmen! Thanks for the suggestion.
Thank I will be trying it wish me luck
Please let us know how it works for you!
I will await for them or another distributor to do a better or method product.
Understandable
❤️
Is their a benefit of sublimating onto dark cotton using a medium, versus dark transfer paper and stock inkjet ink??
Based on experience, by the third wash, the transfer paper begins to crack and fade. I haven't found one that lasts much longer than that. These types of products lasts longer and the sublimation ink is permanent and rarely ever fade.
Mrs. Hey yo looks so funny
I can't get my to work properly. It won't stick to clothing :(
Would you share the information where you purchased the vinyl paper from.
She purchased them from a local vendor in South Florida. Some sellers on Amazon have them. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079V3ZW72?pf_rd_r=2JVWKYANYB0851MK89T4&pf_rd_p=5ae2c7f8-e0c6-4f35-9071-dc3240e894a8&pd_rd_r=669ead6c-a449-43d6-bfe6-f487a1464ca3&pd_rd_w=tODL9&pd_rd_wg=Aa6Qj&ref_=pd_gw_unk
Hey y’all 🥰
💕💕
Always love how you do your videos. Definitely too many steps for me. It seems like nothing different than what can be done simply with heat transfer paper. Speaking of, how did you print and cut that large of an image with your Cricut? It looks larger than the 9.25" x 6.75" limitation Cricut has.
Thank you, Roosevelt! It's 9.25 x 6.75. I'm hoping that they update that one day.
Thank you
Hi Mikki!!!
I like that
Thanks, girl! 🥰
Hi. How long do you wait after printing, to cut with the plotter?
24 hours
Of you don’t cut it will it transfer the white box around it?
Yes, it will.
IM NOT neccessarily new to subbing I been subbing for about 6 months at least. Long story short I bought $80 worth of forever subli and the forever no cut and I had the worse luck ever. Followed all instructions to a tea and mine was not peeling at all. I even let it cool and nothing. So im going to watch this video several times to see what I did wrong. But everything you did I did at first and still got bad results. I ordered my subli from proworld. But I have been watching your videos for sometime BUT i finally subscribed.... LETS GET CRAFTYY
Thank you for subscribing! Yeah, I'm not a fan of this product. I just watched the video since I posted & it was not a good experience. Eventually, I will try it again. However, getting it to peel was a mission.
@@CraftableThings i bought somemore and maybe i can send you a picture of how it does this time but my printer was smearing the ink and etc so i will try the settings you provided in the video and i will definitely let you know if it works.
Mine says peel hot 🤷🏻♀️
Good video thanks takes too much time
Hated this product...I had exactly the same issues with it not removing correctly and I was diligent about each step. The hand has a very heavy feel in addition it washed “horribly,” wrinkled up and stuck to itself on a delicate cycle.
OMG! I haven't even attempted to wash it. I was going to give it another shot. I don't know if I have the energy for it. Thanks for sharing.
is pink considered a light or dark color
Pink could be like or dark depending on the shade.
I checked amazon and the product is too costly to purchase for mistakes.
Familiar with the fancier studio heat press and this forever flex paper. Matter of fact using some right now. Be aware that at times the heat plate on some of these presses does not heat evenly causing issues with the paper peeling properly. You may experience some issues at times with forever flex subli light papers with this model heat press as well .
Thank you so much for the feedback. I appreciate the guidance. I might give it another shot.
does this last in wash
I don’t even know where this shirt is. I have not tried this method again.
Hey hey.
Hey lady!
Has anyone used this product with a Cricut heat press? I’ve not had much luck.
I think pressure with the Cricut Heat press is the main issue.
I appreciate the video but you had clear and concise instructions written down for you and you were unprepared and decided to do you own thing. You made it complicated and somewhat confusing.
I guess others are having the same issue with following the clear and concise directions. Being that so many people have expressed their confusion prior to this video. In fact, I only did this video because a subscriber asked me to as they were having issues with it. I used a silicone based paper per the instructions and it got stuck. So, yeah...I would use the terms complicated and confusing when referring to the product. Nonetheless, I appreciate your appreciation for the video. If you have a video using this product, please drop the link. I'd be happy to share.
This stuff is garbage. I’ve had the exact same issues you had I hate it
You said what I wanted to say 😂. Thank you.
just show us the product without all the damn ramble that is useless to me. Its very annoying. Its not only you its all other youtubers that like to talk so damn much about the history and story about the product. Just show us so i can get off the damn channel
how about you just don't come on MY channel. Thank you!
I will be glad to@@CraftableThings
