Hey Everyone, please note that Pro World Inc’s website states “recommended for sawgrass printers.” It’s a recommendation because the ICC color profiles for this media is integrated in the Sawgrass Print Manager and Sawgrass Exchange Print Mate. It’s just a recommendation and not a requirement. Epson printers can certainly be used as long as your print settings allow for LOTS of ink saturation as mentioned in the video. This media has been around for over 5 years and many epson users has had lots of success with this media! FOREVER, the actual manufacturer advise that any dye sublimation printer and inks can be use with their sublimation transfer papers as long as your print settings are accurate! Trust me 💗

Thanks so much for the info! Love the tutorial! We bought the paper, but we are having an issue where sometimes the ink pulls up back onto the paper and doesn’t go all the way down on the garment and certain areas. Do you have any insights on whether that’s a heat issue or too long or too little time? Thanks so much!
You’re welcome! I had that same issue as well! For me it was the pressure. I needed to use firm pressure. It can be a number of contributing factors. I’d suggest testing your temp, pressure and also consider your artwork as well. My happy medium was 375 with very firm pressure. Hey Nae Nae, this media has been around for years! I’m pretty confident that Pro World hasn’t had a chance to update their description because Sawgrass Virtuoso is an older version of their line of printers. Sawgrass released new printers since then SG 400, 800, 500, & 1000 with a new design program and new features. The website states the sawgrass being a recommendation because the sawgrass printers has the media ICC color profiles integrated in their software. Hey!! These are all Bella Canvas shirts I purchased from Michaels. The crew neck was a gift to me but it’s also Bella canvas I think from its fleece collection
Hi! That’s a great question! Correct, the excess glitter media will not transfer onto the garment because there’s no ink on it to absorb or bond to anything. With dye sublimation, there’s no white/ink so if there’s no ink on the solid white excess media, nothing with transfer. You can certainly trim off the excess to use for a different project but I wanted to show how this media work in its entirety :) Did I answer your question?
Great question! I actually printed an image and let it sit for48 hours. I pressed it on a tote bag with no issues. I have to wash it to see if that changes the washability but no issues at all. I'm not sure about the realigning part. Sorry.
There are a few options for dark garments: Siser EasySubli, Subli Tex, Subli Flex 202, Subli Dark Glitter No Cut. Some people use HTV sublimation adhesive for dark as well. I hope that helps :)
