    Arrma is the best rc company for bashing in my opinion. i have had so much fun bashing my outcast and my friend bashing his kraton. arrma vehicles are so tough, once I was at the beach and full sped drove my outcast off a 3 foot drop, it flipped 5 feet in the air and had no damage.

      Captain Slow that's not true! It is not the best because I see it fail once a week! But it's way better then Traxxas! TLR Truggys are way more durable from what we see every week! At a Bash Park in Long Island

    Great video, Rich. Cannot wait to see this monster in action. With the newly redesigned body and wing it looks evil. And i agree with you on the new wheel design. For a speed truggy i would have opted for a conventional, solid-dish design for less drag and more stability. But, time will tell.

    Really diggin the shock cap "protectors" imo a smart design.. For me the shocks were a problem area with my Kraton along with the servo mount (of course) so I'm really happy to see the "beefed up" shocks&servo mount.. thx for the overview Rich! Always appreciate u bro

    Nice truggy, wish I had access to have one on a ressonable price. I want to have a arrma vehicle since the first generation, but here in Brasil they don't exist and importing one is out of option ( about 3k) but what can I do right?! I've never understood 'speed claims' like the 70+mph. What good does it do to go that fast? I don't know that I could control any RC at that kind of speed. The running video on the Talion is pretty cool.

      Unfortunately, I no longer have the Talion. Honestly, most Arrma's are set up pretty nice on day one for newbies. I'd run 4s initially to get used to it before running 6s.

    As a Tamiya Boy I was about to pre order a Traxxas E-Revo 2.0 as my first bashing truck, but after I read about the patent lawsuits by Traxxas I decided not to by any Traxxas item ever. So my money is on the all new Talion 2018.

    Might be a little late but would the Kraton be best for like an all round basher? I know the Typhon is more 'race type' but I enjoy bashing more than going on a track.

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep, Kraton or the Outcast/Notorious. The Kraton has the longer wheel base and is more stable, where the O/N is shorter and can be more controllable in the air

    Hi, I have been comparing the arrma talion with the traxxas e revo 1/10, I live in Spain and the shipping costs make the pieces expensive. The Ring Gear Differential / Pinion Differential of the traxxas e revo is worth 22 euros, and the same pieces in the arrma talion are worth 52 euros, my question is, ¿are those pieces are more resistant in the arrma talion than in the traxxas and revo? Thank you

    I got the new 2019 version but there are some differences such as the transmitter that comes with the Talion is no longer Tactic it’s Spektrum which means they swapped out the battery connectors from the Beefy XT-90 to a new style that Spektrum made called
    IC-5 they are orange which is also compatible with
    EC-5 Connectors no problem there but Still a major inconvenience because Arrma doesn’t provide you with a spare pair to solder on your batteries like they did with the XT-90 connectors
    So you got to go looking for a Pair of EC-5 conn. Or you could by Spektrum batteries with their stupid connectors which is gonna cost a bloody fortune.

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, each version of the Arrma line up comes slightly improved. Connector wise, pick one and stick with it for everything. I use XT90 for all 3s and 4s packs and XT60 for 2s. Simply learn to solder and replace the connectors - however, be VERY careful when replacing connectors on Lipos. It can be very dangerous if you don't know what you're doing

    EVERYONE raves how Arrma is so strong ( and better then Traxxas).
    EVERY video ( literally 1000s) is a broken new Arrma. ALWAYS needs servos all new diffs, and other parts.
    500$ new and it needs 500-1000$ of parts when brand new to be decent.
    I dont get how Arrma is so good and so tough.

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Must explain why Traxxas has the most aftermarket support than any other vendors....and Arrma has next to none. Simply put, Traxxas makes plastic vehicles - Example - Traxxas Slash 4x4 (base vxl model) plastic chassis, plastic f/r drives, plastic shocks, etc. 90% of stock servos are junk - I'm simply stating the facts, which is just my opinion. As for diffs, they're pretty robust in the Arrma's in comparison....but they are pushing around 9-10lbs under extreme electronics pushing 6s power.

Truck belongs to daughter, she is afraid to run it because it cost her to much to repair. Very fun car and has had use from other family members. But expensive to keep running at times. Those are the things Arrma needs to improve to keep users wanting to buy there products. Users need honest and fair review to know what they can safely invest there hard earned hobby $$ in.
