    Hi Richard, I've seen in other reviews that it seems like telemetry mode, 7-channels mode, and Super Response mode are all mutually exclusive. Do you confirm that?
    Thank you!

    • @adhsvray1754
      @adhsvray1754 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Telemetry works with the T_FHSS mode (not T-FHSS SR, S-FHSS, or FASST). So you do lose SR. The manual has a footnote: "The analog servo mode of the S-FHSS system can use up to 7 channels. When using 5 or more channels, R2008SB and R2006GS can be used." Having said that, I don't know if this excludes the possibility of connecting 7 servos via SBUS 2 if using the FHSS modes.

  • @tacticalmattfoley

    The only concern I would have is with the durability of the touch screen. On my 4px, I got nitro fuel on my hands and even after cleaning my hands as well as possible in the pits, the nitro fuel corroded the lettering off my transmitter. So, if a user were touching the screen with chemical residue on his/her hands, would it damage the touch screen. I guess time and experience will tell.

    Hello sir. I want to ask dan make sure for this futaba 7px and the newest 7pxr, is it screen so frail.
    My friend using this radio and had experienced defect on the screen after using several times. There was a vertical line on the right side of the screen, even though it never fell or bumped.
    At this time I used Sanwa M17, MT44 and Flysky Noble NB4 and planning to have Futaba 7PXR, seeing that many people have screen defects, so I was a little hesitant to try Futaba 7pxr.
    Maybe Futaba 4PM safer, enough / better as an alternative ?
    Please advise. Thank you very much.

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I haven't had any issues with my screen on the 7PX and I've had it since before it was launched - still heavily using it to this day. I'm not sure where you're based, but Futaba does have regional distributors that take care of any warranties.....like in the US, we have one based in Tennessee, I believe. The main advantage of the touch screen is that it's so much easier to get into menus versus hitting several buttons and cursor buttons to get there.

Can this be done?

    • @TheRCNetwork

  • @dylanchadderton1

    That touch screen looks iffy to me, it appears (and i may be wrong), that it is more like the very old first touch screen phones that were resistive touch screen that you actually had to use pressure to engage the screen unlike the capacitive touchscreens of modern phones where no pressure is needed and just engages from the lightest touch.

    • @LtZerge
      @LtZerge 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The sensitivity is adjustable so I imagine it is resistive. However that does mean any solid object can be used to operate, it doesn't need to be a conductive surface. If you're outside with it, it won't be effected by dust or moisture, or you wearing gloves etc. Tradeoffs.

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is adjustable....and I did still have the screen protective sheet on the screen (my OCD)

    I pre ordered this radio for my Dbxl-e I just bought. After watching other review videos of people that have been using this radio I'm kind of second guessing. They all say in the best modes, or fastest modes you only get a max of 3 channels. If you want to use telemetry you only get 3 or 4 channels. You only get 7 channels on some basic mode with no telemetry, and no fast modes. :/

    • @LtZerge
      @LtZerge 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      DX6R's gimmicks work a little better, many will prefer their screen setup and it being android based, giving it more memory and horse-power. Futaba always works better as a radio though, more reliable longer ranged signals in my experience. If you have more than 50 vehicles with different presets the Spektrum will be the go-to option, lol

    • @TheRCNetwork
      @TheRCNetwork  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Pat nailed the response....Futaba just works better as a radio system than Spektrum. I am surprised at how well the touch screen is on the 7PX though....haven't tried a DX6r, but I'm not a fan of Android either
