The Czech ration looked very good. You did a great job reviewing this ration. Everything flowed very well. 2 thumbs up! Glad to see your knife was sharp.
+MadGeorge88 That can actually be an issue sometimes when the first two numbers in a date are both different but both less than 12 (if you don't know the date format you won't know for sure what the date is). I don't know why dates in the US are Month/Day/Year and the international date standard is Day/Month/Year.
Fixy Clary on US MRE cases and food packet survival general purpose, the date code is YR/DAY. So 07047 is the 47th day of 2007. 7047 is the 47th day of 2017. It's a pain for us but for them they are constantly rotating stock so 4 digit codes seem to work for them. Some cases also have the standard 07/07/2017 that we all use. No format is perfect really. The Julian calendar is really strange!
Tip my Dad used to do for the drink powders ... put a shot of the hot water in the glass and swirl it around and let the hot water melt the powder then add the cold water ... almost never get a floaty that way ... keep up the good vids ... thanks
I just love the fact that you read the honey like M.E.D. like its some kind of brand or specification :D It is actually just the word for honey i czech... med :D
I like the fact the new BDP contractor puts a contents list right on the box. Its a nice touch. Its also nice to able to get rations like this right here in the states from ForeignMRE and the other sites. It took me well over 2 years to acquire a BDP and a Meal4Real from Bush Master. Cheers
Price with rations is all relative. My BDP was purchased in eastern europe for about 40 bucks then economy shipping of another 30 or so and I had to wait for a month or so. At least with ForeignMRE its already in the states which covers all that hassle and you get it a couple of days. Seems worth it if its on your ration bucket list as RC Gusto calls it. Cheers!
Brilliant Nathan. Fantastic review, and I don't know what settings you had on your camera but the picture quality was amazing! I can see why you think it may be the best one so far. Looked really appetizing and all of the contents made sense.
Thank you for watching, and to my subscribers check this guys videos out., and the camera was shooting 2.7k at 60fps, then uploaded at 1080 at 30fps, darkened it up a lot in imove and slightly moved the color slider up hope this helps
Nice a Czech 24 hour ration. The 2 mains look good as far as them being cold. I used to be able to buy the crisp breads in the store here but I can't find them any more I loved those. Wow the mains looks really really good, I would eat them and I would eat the veggies too, just not heated. Awesome review again as always thanks. Hey anyone want to send a poor person one of these? I would greatly appreciate one. It would feed me for a few days.
Nice review, Nathan. Med is the Czech word for honey. That pork in brine looks like a terrine or galantine, which are basically pork forcemeat using a rougher grind of meat than a pâté. She me have an aspic jelly around it, and some have vegetables mixed in with the meat. Interesting the tinned veggies don’t have brine in there as a preservative. Not happy with a lot of Europeans for not putting creamer in with the coffee, as they usually drink coffee black and without sugar. Still, lots of sugar for the tea. The beans in the Devil’s meat look like lentils, which make for a- IMHO- better source of complex carbs as well as some plant protein. That and the sausage main are interesting.
Thanks for the review! I had this ration with date of 2016 and I had the same feelings about devils meat. The whole ration is really good. Maybe it can be used in war propaganda against enemies "Our soldiers are fed with devils meat" :)
Hey Nathan great video sir that was a heck load of contents in that box they really know how to pack a ration box well over there we have that corn and pepper in a tin to you can eat it cold or warm it up which I prefer have you noticed the ration boxs/packs always have dark chocolate in them and not milk other than our uk boxs I think it lasts longer and takes longer to melt or something I really enjoyed that video well done buddy top notch
Very cool review and ration! All items looked great. I do admit, devils meat, is an interesting name for An entrée, LOL. Despite the name, best looking entrée in the ration. Sausages looked delicious also. Vegetables looked very fresh, no discoloration. The pork meat and brine surprised me. Your perspective made it seem like something other than processed pork. Here in Kentucky, we define Jelly, as without seeds, jam, with seeds. Their nomenclature might be different? As long as it and honey tasted good, who cares.? I agree with that tea and honey concept. Tried it with the first Lithuanian tea, I ever had. Thank you Old smokey, And Steve1989 for the care package. Again, Nathan , Great review, Peace, John
Everyone, should know that the color of the holds a high level of presevatives. A less canned food is not I´ts definitely less chemical. Sorry to write over the translator.
I'm aways disappointed if don't see fuel tabs with esbit type emergency stove, I'm always hopping someone won't read instructions & burn their food cutter. Sorry Kiwi, just have to give you a hard time😁
Its not very surprising that Czech food smells like German food, if we are neighbours and our couisines are very simmilar and many dishes are absolutely the same. Expecialy Bavarian (German) and Bohemian (Czech) ;)
I sometimes get angry at mre reviewers because I want them to try the main on something like a cracker or I want them to mix something together and they don’t do it so I start yelling at them through my phone
DaddyO's Ink I have been binge watching ration reviews with my daughter's. We are totally enthralled but we have noticed the same thing. American MREs seem like nothing but carbs and shelf stable sugar where as so many foreign MREs have so much variety.
Dice onions, stew them in lard untill golden brown, add beef seasoned with black pepper and salt, add garlic and hot pepper of your choice, add beef broth and stew untill the meat is tender.
Hello, i am from Czech Republic...here we usualy call "devils" most of dishes they are spicy. so you can have spicy saussage called devils saussage or devils sauce etc. so in most of cases devils equals spicy
the Czech Republic is the only real country in western Europe that supports the idea of self defense. Even Switzerland isnt too keen on people shooting someone for self defense. For that its one of the few countries id be willing to live outside the USA.
Gren Moyo i think you'll find most of us have police AND gendarmes , here in France they are actually a branch of the military and unlike your national guard , are constantly on patrol and private citizens can call them in direct. It's reassuring when the regular army patrols also, and they do, we even called back the Légion when the terroriste nonsense started, we are serious about self défense, our air force patrols our borders too and everyone my age has done M.S. we are also keen hunters . Oddly we have négligeable gun crime like Swiss
Sorry to dissapoint you, but i am Czech Republic citizen and i have to tell you that our law about self defence is very simmilar to other EU countries, and definately not like in US. For defense we use police and army and you can´t carry a weapon without special permission which we call "gun passport" and you can´t get that permission that easy, you have to have reason for that.
Glad you liked it, but this is pretty much just a junk food. You should try to eat some genuine czech food, because if you like this crap, you would love the real deal.
The Czech ration looked very good. You did a great job reviewing this ration. Everything flowed very well. 2 thumbs up! Glad to see your knife was sharp.
Thank you
apart from telling us our dates are back to front.

A good ration but not a cheap ration to buy, seems like sometimes they are available and sometimes you won't see them for months
Price with rations is all relative. My BDP was purchased in eastern europe for about 40 bucks then economy shipping of another 30 or so and I had to wait for a month or so. This one came from eBay, as of this minute foreignmre don't have any but after Art sees this video that might change lol
Gundoggie!!!!!!
Great review. I'm amazed on how so many countries feed their troops better than ours.
It's similar with healthcare as well. :)
Brilliant Nathan. Fantastic review, and I don't know what settings you had on your camera but the picture quality was amazing!

Nathan's MRE Thank you so much mate. Looked amazing on there & really appreciate the support.
I love your videos brother! I watch them all, even the old ones.

Thanks for watching , the meal was really good
In the uk the sweet corn/peas tin would also be in a liquid. But not always to the top.
Nice review, Nathan.

Very nice video Nathan, I'm Czech myself so this means a lot to me, cool, keep up making good MRE vids!
Thanks for the review! I had this ration with date of 2016 and I had the same feelings about devils meat. The whole ration is really good. Maybe it can be used in war propaganda against enemies "Our soldiers are fed with devils meat" :)
Thank you for watching, and to my subscribers check this guys videos out.
I had other idea for propaganda when you wrote it. "Leave your army and join ours. We will feed you." No offence. ;) :D
i like to see this display you talk about nathan :D
Plus this ration is dope af, keep up the good work
Thanks for watching , I might put a pic on Facebook soon
Your ceiling fan is making the packages sealed in silver plastic look psychedelic. Time stamp 7:48
Really like your channel man, awesome find!
thank you
Wow that MRE looks like it was on point.
Looks Clean as fuck.
Thanks Pauly I appreciate that
can you please post some pics of your collection?
Excellent video! As always, keep it up!
Thanks for watching
I can't understand why the military doesn't just sell these direct to the public themselves.
that opening was epic
Why don't you take the lids off of the cans before you cut your pinksters off?

Btw some people drink tea with rum here in the czech republic. ...or with "slivovica" (plum spirit). That is some stronger drink. ;) :D
"Aaaand we haaave" another video from Nathan. :)
Good ration. I'd be really happy with that.
My brother served in the marine corps during the gulf war. He told me that the gum could he chewed or used as a laxative. I laughed at that lol
Interesting
Nathan's MRE yea what I told him
swgaguy7710 It, actually, can. Dental gum contains, one or more, so called "alcohol sugars". Swallowed, in large quantities, it can promote diarrhea.
Everyone, should know that the color of the holds a high level of presevatives. A less canned food is not I´ts definitely less chemical. Sorry to write over the translator.
Not very camouflaged with the shiny foil packs!
That is one way to save on food research. Buy COTS food and feed it to them. Excellent review of commercial foods served to their troops.
Seems like it worked out pretty good
Nathan Mre survives on MRE's on a daily basis, doesn't he?
put it on display where?
I'm aways disappointed if don't see fuel tabs with esbit type emergency stove, I'm always hopping someone won't read instructions & burn their food cutter. Sorry Kiwi, just have to give you a hard time😁
Federico Peña lol I bet kiwi would love that. Btw he been kinda awol
very unique ration find
Thanks for watching
Actually that snackbread is corn bread. Lol
i dont use paypal but it seems the only places i can find will only take paypal....WHY!?
You can get PayPal for free and link it to your debit card , if you use eBay a lot you pretty much have to have PayPal
Gren Moyo contact me directly. I accept other forms of payment. mremountain@hotmail.com

Nice

That's a fresh Looking MRE
I sometimes get angry at mre reviewers because I want them to try the main on something like a cracker or I want them to mix something together and they don’t do it so I start yelling at them through my phone
Why do all the foreign MREs look so much tastier than the USA ones?
Because they are made out of food. Ours are not.
Very cool intro like it a lot!
Greetings from Germany my friend
24:15 deviled ham?
European MREs seem to be mostly meat and fruit products where the US ones are mostly carbs and chemicals.....
DaddyO's Ink I have been binge watching ration reviews with my daughter's. We are totally enthralled but we have noticed the same thing. American MREs seem like nothing but carbs and shelf stable sugar where as so many foreign MREs have so much variety.
Allison Lewis there is definitely a difference. I have never had the occasion to eat a European ration, but I am thinking about ordering some.
My country has outstanding MRE , brit MRE ? that crap's horrid. French
michel G I am Irish but living in the US. I haven't seen many Irish MREs.
Very cool and nice looking ration
Thank you for watching, and to my subscribers check this guys videos out.
thanks for the shout out mate
Probably has English on it due to NATO or the EU.
As I've never had it, I'd rather like to know the ingredients of the so called "Devil's meat". 'Could be tasty :) !
Usualy in europe if we call some food as "devil´s" it just simply means hot or spicy. So any misterious ingrediences. ;)
Dice onions, stew them in lard untill golden brown, add beef seasoned with black pepper and salt, add garlic and hot pepper of your choice, add beef broth and stew untill the meat is tender.
@@VRGamercz Sounds good!
Try an 1979 British army one man 24 HR artic ration pack.......it's pitiful!!, And I know as I spent 3 years in HM forces.
Thanks for watching I have a 2017 British ration video coming up soon, stay tuned
Nathan's MRE , I will!!, Let's see if they still put in dried peas, lol

Thank you

+1 Sub! :D
Glad you liked it, but this is pretty much just a junk food. You should try to eat some genuine czech food, because if you like this crap, you would love the real deal.
The bread looks like cardboard.

Czech people like not Russia. The Russia song (national anthem)on the end is bad , really, very bad.Bye
