    Outstanding to hear Phil speaking up! Considering that you started a year ago with only saying ah ha and yep, now you are speaking up and can be clearly heard. Nathan great review until you hit the vomlet #2. There are some things you should just edit out and that pre-digested sausage could have been one. Could have used the excuse it was left over from High School LOL. great Job as always guys. Have a good weekend

    Eith the amount of brown and orange, it looks like a menu from the 70's! Not the best representation of Czech cooking - but not the worst either :)

    Those scrambled eggs were way different than the eggs I know. I think I would be hungry at the end of the day. Thanks for sharing.

      Except it's not scrambled eggs, it's lecho, like a very very eggy traditional ratatouille.

    Sounds like A decent meal. Some items do look, ahem, interesting? You both survived, and tried some interesting food. Still A win. I am glad you enjoyed some components. Great job. Glad you survived. Peace, John.

    You can get Euro chocolate in the US - as well as craft chocolate from the US that has the same general taste. :) Its just not as cheap here.

    Crumble 1 or 2 crackers in the sausage slop, add half a salt packet or more, mix in a sugar packet...enjoy. Break off a bit of chocolate add to coffee. Just eat the jellys last by themselves. Get creative. 👍

    Of course tuna's bland, it's why it's an ingredient in stuff rather than something you eat on its own, unless it's something freshly caught that day and served up almost as soon as it's off the boat, it'll be dry boring protein in a can... :P

    Do you ever read the instructions or ingrediants list? Tip the water out of the tuna. Use the seasoning provided if you need it (European foods tend not to be prepared overseasoned like the US); as for the egg+sausage; well, that was a very bad example of the dish (though it is not even my favourite when it's home cooked). It is not cooked eggs like omelette or scrambled, the eggs are added to the sauce or broth while cooking - the eggs are an ingrediant rather than a dish on their own....just a way of cooking you are not used to.......but still...that looked bad :)

    You should strain or drain the water out first. I, personally drink the water. Funnily enough, tonight I am having tuna sandwiches NOT tuna fish! Everyone knows that Tuna is a fish so quit saying something redundant, oh not you, but one of my pet peeves. Keep your channel rocking Nathan!

      It´s lečo, basically peppers, tomatoes, sausage with eggs mixed in. There´s no way to translate the meal´s name to English other than just listing ingredients. And yes, it usually looks like someone´s vomit. Pretty tasty though.

  • @armaggedon390
    @armaggedon390 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    That tuna looked worse than the cheapest I can find at my local store. It looked pretty bad. The devil meat with beans at least looked good and the mixed vegetables looked exactly like mixed vegetables should look.
    Now, that egg thing? That looked the opposite of appetizing. There's no better way to say it, it looked like vomit. Glad to know it tasted better than it looked.
    Gotta say, judging by food and nothing else, I would not want to be a Czech soldier.

  • @Likosak

    Those heaters are really bad. Winter - temperature around -8 °C. Could not get them running for 15 minutes straight. You can't relly on them. That tuna is supposed to be mixed with the vegetables. It also goes over my head why they can't put some of these hints on the box. There are like 14 menus which you can get and in my opinion you whipped out the worst one of them all. Tuna in brie in general is bad. But the one in oil is a different story. Other than that's the food is not so bad. When you are hungry then it gets the job done. Usually people shit bricks after these rations so that can mess you up a little. Could not figure out why. It's better then having a diarrhea but still - on longer marches it can get your ass teared up nicely.
