Thanks so much for stopping by and watching this video! I'm currently taking on a limited number of students for tutoring for section 1 & 2 for the March 2022 GAMSAT. If you're interested in working with me, feel free to visit www.thetessfiles.com/gamsattutoring and send me an enquiry ✨

Thanks for the video everyone! These tips are coming out just in time for September 😬
It's really great hearing from such a range of backgrounds and experiences with the gamsat and in general leading up to starting med. Sometimes it can really feel like there's one path and if you aren't doing it the way others are around you you're somehow failing, which is definitely something I've struggled with. Hope exam season treated all of you well and best of luck for the rest of the year 👍

Thanks so much for your comment Luke, I'm so glad to hear that this channel is helping to show all the different pathways and backgrounds people take to get into a medical degree. I feel like no two people I've met have done it the same way! Good-luck with the September GAMSAT if you're sitting it :)

It's good to hear experiences of people who have a non science background.

It's my first time on your channel and I'm loving it after just 2mins. I am nurse in the UK hoping to move over in to medicine. Is the GAMSAT the best entry exam to take?

    Hello Tess,
Could I ask you this? You mentioned the Des O'neil books for GAMSAT, so you bought them online? Do you know where to buy them and is there any latest version for next year 2020? Thanks ^^

Hie the Tes, can a degree GPA of less than 5.0 be accepted at gemsas before combining with your GAMSAT score?

Generally universities (AUS) have a 5.0 GPA requirement to apply for a Med course so if its lower than 5.0 it most likely will not be accepted as an application as it has not fulfilled the entry requirements. It also depends on the university you're applying for so make sure to double check their requirements.
