In this video Mac talks about her tips for success from a science background, while Winsome and I talk about the differences when coming from non-science and physio backgrounds.

So interesting that so many of your tips are about techniques in the exam, and not so much revision/ learning techniques.
That's a great observation Linda, I hadn't really thought about that! But you're right, I think so much of being successful in the gamsat comes down to exam technique and not so much knowing the theory.

Hey, How important is knowing Theory/Background science for the GAMSAT? I keep getting the feeling from your video that everything you need is on the paper and it's all about logic/pattern recognition. Thanks
Hey guys, firstly, cheers for the great tips! So this is my second time doing the GAMSAT. I also fell into the trap of intensively learning the theory. This time, i plan to concentrate on doing the questions, how did you guys tackle doing the questions? did you repeat the ACER papers, or did y'all use papers from alternative companies? I just fear that i will eventually memorise the Acer answers, and thus won't get the full benefit from doing them. Any advice would be much appreciated!
