Khan Academy has a section under the "test prep" (under the MCAT) section that has a whole area focused on this kind of thinking. You read a passage and answer questions about it. Very useful.
Super helpful video dude, thanks! I find S1 comes quite naturally to me and I consistently get mid-high 60's in practice tests (which will be more than enough for me), would you still recommend this strategy and try to max out on this section (and S2 to a lesser degree) or really put the time into S3? I have a Science degree so I have no doubt I have the knowledge but I get quite intimidated by S3 questions 🤔
Usually students have 2 sections they are going hard for and 1 of them depends on the day. I would recommend studying for all 3 sections, don't put all your eggs in the one basket. Section 3 is high yield as some medical schools double weight it. The only thing I would say is, don't fall into the trap of thinking S3 will be easy due to your science background - it truly is not a knowledge test but a logic based one.
I just did my first practise test paper 1 and I got 32/75 under timed conditions. I feel so upset considering I did two past papers and I’m a social science grad 😭 I’m ashamed
What kind of resources or mediums did you use to read shorter texts of difference types? For example, I found my weak points were mainly prose and Non-fiction philosophical or history texts.
Medical school is completely different to the GAMSAT. Instead of learning about reasoning skills, the focus is more clinical. We essentially go through each body system and learn about it's anatomy, physiology, pathology and management. Much better than the GAMSAT don't worry 😅
@@ZunKabir the gamsat is really pushing me, and I'm getting quite disheartened as i figure how will i be able to cope in medical school if this is the kind of content we are to expect

Any good books to pass GAMSAT? I'm an engineering graduate
Thanks may I ask you to give advice for section 2please?
Hey there, i actually made a video talking through section 2 here: th-cam.com/video/46IOgls5ncE/w-d-xo.html
how does the gamsat compare to medical school in terms of difficulty?
