I've had the pleasure of seeing these fine gentlemen three times in concert. Had tickets to see them a fourth time in 2020 but the pandemic ruined that plan. Absolutely love these guys. Madness fan for life!
Love Madness, and loving the older stuff. Such a shame that Chas wasn't part of these celebrations, especially during the last HOF Weekender where they played a good mixture of old stuff that is rarely heard. Hope he comes back in time for the next album.
Churrr.. been a fan since 1980 but never seen them live. Madness were a formative band for me and Woody inspired me to take up the drums. I eventually fronted my own bands and our originals all had a ska influence to them. Please come to New Zealand.
I've seen them in NL, BE, and soon in 2022 DE !!!!!!! The band of my youth is great on stage and I can only recommend it anyone wishing to enjoy a nice evening of good vibes
I watched a previous video regarding madness, they mentioned the floors moving above them, but ive seen them at 2 festivals and 2 arenas, the floor has always bounced, great fun bud scary in a concrete arena.
8 times (relatively few) times seen them live, travelled the length of britain 3 times ;) Best gig had to be the round house and all the old back album, brilliant. I wont ever forget that night listening to the stuff they rarely play live :) A lot of the less known tracks are their best. Close second was House of Common. Never made the HOF gigs. Just had a rather large M tatt done (late life crisis!). Best band to grace the planet running close with Blondie!

I grow up in Hampstead and went to Haverstock and was expelled in 1969 , Haverstock introduced me to the Hypocrisy of socialism, half the school rough working class kids the other half the children of Hampstead’s champagne socialist who were slumming it to distort the exam results and improve the profile of the school; the Miliband brother being the most high profile students, the Conservatives called Haverstock Labours Eton
sorry, I fail to see your point. It's the same old cliche with some interesting period detail. Of course poor socialists are just scroungers who want everything for free, while rich socialists are 'hypocrites' because, er, they're rich or something and don't understand the working man (and if they ever do mix it's cos they're "slumming it").One day do you think the actual permissable yearly wage for socialists will be revealed? We're essentially a one party state anyway but you old coots still never stop complaining. I mean, can anyone imagine the sheer hell it must have been to live in 1960s Hampstead- no wonder you had to get yourself expelled? Hope you're enjoying Brexit Britain. Lovely steroid injected beef coming all the way from Australia, and duty free to boot so it'll undercut British farmers. How many years will it be till you realise you've been conned (not hard) so no more than a couple of hundred men could get rich betting against the pound? How many millions has Rees-Mogg made so far? Laughable. The average IQ in this country barely scrapes 3 figures and fuck me it shows.
Pete Waterman (DJ, Coventry's Locarno club) said of Terry Hall, 'he can't sing', but Jerry Dammers said 'he's in, his voice is recognisable'. Same applies for Suggsy

Nice to see them playing some of their less well-known songs of old for a change, much as I still love their oft-repeated hits.

Thank you so much for this! I live in the US, and had no way to watch it. Thanks again!
Pure magic, I have some wicked memories from all these tunes.
They were having fun so you knew you were gonna have fun.Thank you lads. x
'In the rain' such an underrated Madness track, love the earlier stuff..
Marks bass on "in the rain" Always loved that bass line 👌

Thanks for the share ... I was introduced to "Absolutely" by my older brother in my very early teens and been hooked ever since!
Cheers for posting. Me & a mate wore Madness badges in our primary 6 (10/11 years old, 1982/3) as a sign of what rebels we (thought) we were ;0)

Bloody awesome as always...Thank you chaps.....
Thanks for the upload !
great band, the best,
I wish I was there in 1979 to see Madness, The Specials, The Selecter and The Beat play before their huge success.
40 years of brilliantness 👏😎
Great in concert
Great way how they did the change from then to now. My mates and me went Sunday, this is not Sunday as Lee was wearing a fez that night. 😁
Saw that 2tone tour back then great buzz still
Nutty as ever 👍🍻🦘
I grew up in Camden. Often used to see the boys around. Went through a phase of playing tennis with a few of them during the late 80s. 🎾
Lucky you were
Great show from the Mads, shame there was no Mr. Bosh...
