I used to live in Venice Beach, California. There is a taco shop near the end of Washington Blvd that I frequented (still do when I visit LA). Once, Johnny came in - and I instantly recognized him. I was hoping he would sit at the counter and eat, but he ordered take away and soon left (he lived in area).

To be fair, lots of cities in the UK have changed over nearly 20 yrs. I moved to the Isle of Man in 2002. My kids were under 5 and a job came up, so my wife and I thought, why not.
