Gara has such a low play rate compared to her absolutely insane power. I think most people still believe she is just Frost 2.0 but I will be damned if Frost ever does something as powerful as this.
Nourish is just off the charts, hoping to do a video on it soon discussing why it is SO INSANE.

Would like to note :
*Splinter Storm is affected y Combo multipliers, So having a Fragor/Fragor Prime with Corrupt Charge will start you with 4x combo (+100% damage)
*Enemies inside her Mass Vitrify add to the strength of her wall scaling infinitely. At higher levels in Steel Path, her walls can reach the millions of Strength and keep out very strong enemies effectively CC a large area.
*You can build combo quickly by Blocking with your melee
*Mass Vitrify also debuffs enemies by 50% when enemies are caught inside and vitrified.
*Shatterstorm synergizes with Mending Splinters Augment to keep you healed.
*You can add more damage by running Arcane Rage, Arcane Blade Charger and Arcane Arachne
Since day one she does that, now she doesn't need to leave the ring to get the damage buff, that's nice
Well since nourish got a buff it adds another layer of crazy
I ran a build like a year ago that used guardian derision and reflex guard to make building to 12x combo super easy by just standing in front of a crowd and blocking. Now stuff with the preados probably makes it easier. But you can also run a gunblade to build combo fast too.
I also found that in solo runs, especially when playing a nourish frame, having a styanax spector works great since his 3rd that gives like 3 energy per second can then be multiplied by nourish to be nice passive energy regen, also great when you have to run naramon and not zenerick :)

Finally, I will have a real build for my Gara, and it'll get even better when I get the patience to farm Grendel. Good content as always Kyaii.

I haven't ever subsumed nourish onto any frames, despite having every frame + prime + almost all subsumes (12 missing),
but because of your explanation with gara, i'll make an exception :)

My buddy has been running a build similar to this for a couple years now, always was pretty funny listening to him build it just for a nullifier to come by and ruin it lol good times
True! Just use Klamora or a high fire rate weapon to burst em down though
@kyaii or Miter with its augment.. depends if you want to have a valid weapon or if you prioritise controlling nullifers. I don't think this kind of build needs a weapon to carry it so Miter is great. Also I like to run more range but that's the beauty of it she is so versatile.

Gara has two major play styles, one is the Touch of Death and the other is Mass Vitrify. Most people use the touch of death but Gara has a poor energy economy, one of the main reason I do not play her much now. The quality of life change to her 4 is the best thing ever, you do not have to step outside of her ring to add the damage to her 2, now you just slash or tap and it refreshes her 2. Add to that a high duration and now nourish plus one yellow archon shard for 30% energy at start and she has a much faster play style. Been playing it today and she feels much smoother and fast. Nourish takes care of her energy needs allot better than arcane energize and is more available.
The mass vitrify style is more defensive. Cast her 2 on a target then cast her 4 out to a decent range and then babysit the defense target. Keeping up with timers on the 2 was for me tricky so I always used the death touch method of defense.
Grouping enemies with a cclike Magus Anomaly or Vazarin's 2nd ability makes Gara's wall crazy strong in steel path. Strong enough to keep a demolyst out and debuff enemies.
Use the kullervo wrathful advance and ceramic dagger with the status chance evolution. That lets your 1 red crit with 300% power strength and do slash damage procs.
I love the game, & I was a bit excited to see the new update.
Money isn't really an issue for me either, but i baulked at the price (38 AuD). I just purchased Desynced for about the same price.
To be fair a NewZealand company has higher wage/employee costs than an American dev studio, but still.
He found a way to make gara stronger and faster. Very impressive but I have two umbra forma on my gara prime so I can't make the full build

She's op and cheap to buy or easy gathering her parts, many new player doesn't know how Gara skill work..she is defensive and high offensive frame with just one config, she can clear start chart also steel path with no prob without spent much bullet. And also she energy hunger. But with a lil tweak energy efficiency she's goddess. With helminth she's broken class.
Actually elemental damage types do indeed transfer over to Shattered Lash. However Shattered Lash damage types do not transfer over to Mass Vitrify. They are just converted into Mass Vitrify's damage types. (Unless of course it got changed with the new tweak to Gara)
You can test this out with Nightwave daily missions "Kill X enemies with [type] damage". This of course won't be very useful until we get a mechanic in the game that can add status to Shattered Lash (like Arcane Avenger can add crit to it).
They do and I should've mentioned that they don't show up because it has 0 status chance but i meant it more so as your not gonna be hitting enemies for viral with it or something

you know i forgot splinter storm makes enemys take more dmg tho imagine if the augment scaled to your own splinter storm insteadof the base ability
jaw sword, skana, dual cleavers and mire have damage boost mod
The only thing about the new augment is that the splinterstorm damage is only based on the base damage so you don't spread the million damage to the enemies around it however it still affects with the vulnerability and multiplier damage so you can still do more damage to them but yeah that was unfortunate because I had hoped it would be able to spread the splinterstorm damage at what it's totaled at not with total base value which obviously is only like 328 or something
Jaw sword is also good because it in addition to the truth mod, has a 5/5 dispo for rivens. My riven is -heavy attack efficiency but has +110% to heat, electric, and cold.
Yea true but I am only using it spread the damage multiplier anyways. And yea the Jaw Sword is great!
Mending Splinters augment makes every enemy with Splinterstorm a totem of heal for Gara ! Also, all enemies with Splinter Storm take 50% more damage from all areas.

I use reflex guard and eclipse on her so I can build up my splinter strom damage really fast and really big.

@@jameswalsh1634 how would it double dip if they don’t apply any status procs? Using reflex guard and eclipse would allow the damage to be built up way faster
🤔 iv been told eclipse doesn't work on abilities only on weapons, wouldn't roar be a better option
How do you get crit multiplier on your skills? Shattered lash is 1.0 (modified by stat stick mods) and I presume Splinter Storm is also 1.0.
Forgot to add that you should now use crit mods on shattered lash!

I think that puncture version of shatter lash is better because it doesn't lock you in animation
the puncture is single target compared to a massive AOE
@@kyaii fair enough, maybe it's just me that I don't even use it on enemies that much and go "unga bunga need more glass on my 2" mindset, and for that puncture is way better
How do you stack stat stick combo with this build my stat stick is awfully slow with this build should ,I change it for another weapon ?
If it's a non riven build then use the praedos, fast attack speed and mobility bonuses
Wait Im a little confused how do you build combo in the first place? since the abilities doesn't effect combo count

how are you doing any crit damage? i know arcane avenger and cat's eye give you crit chance, but lash still doesn't have any crit damage. even if you have 100% chance to crit, a 1x crit multiplier isn't adding any damage.
I forgot to show that you do infact replace two mods on lash with CD mods
I keep running out of mana, what can i change to fix that? I don't have helmith yet ( getting it atm) and i got arcane energize, still struggling. Any tips?
Using this build requires helminth as nourish gives an energy multiplier increasing energy gains. If your still struggling try spectrosiphon

I was thinking about fractured slash on gara with her augment spectrosiphon with ALL strenght mods and arcane.
Am tired of her 3 build its just so overused by everyone.

I take it you're recouping the health lost from Combat Discipline with the Hunter mod on your pet?
There's that and also that killing enemies by being close to them pretty much garuntees you pick up the health orb and with equilibrium you also get made health. Besides that Magus Elevate is an easy top off
@@kyaii Yeah it was the passive health return I was trying to figure out from the Mot footage. Enemies were dying too far away for pickups but you still didn't seem to be taking any damage, and then I remembered how OP panzers are lmao

But what about critical damage?

I swear there weren't CD mods on the stat stick, maybe I looked at the wrong scene. I will look again and rectify the original comment if I was mistaken.
@kyaii Just watched the video again, and the stat stick doesn't have Critical Damage mods, you also haven't mentioned using them at any point. I know the build is plenty strong as is, but I would really appreciate it if you could check if they worked on this setup before I tried it. I have all the mods and tools here, but my forma is kind of low right now. I want to know if I can use the same riven I am using on my Khora Stat Stick, or if I should consider investing in another more convenient weapon.
Forget I asked this, I checked online and there is no reason why CD wouldn't work, that's a stupid question. 🙄

@@abysswalker7712 Yeah CD mods work. I was confused as well. I think he missed putting in the footage for the alterative stat stick. The extra crit damage isn't transferred to Mass Vitrify though, and thus not to Splinter Storm.

Steel Charge, although combat discipline is pretty much necessary for the crit build and for nourish
So, shattered storm augment ONLY counts base damage of the skill, not the accumulated damage, so it's useless.
Nope, it's used for its damage multiplier to give splinter storm a 7x damage multiplier when stacked with viral
@@kyaii there's a lot of contradictory information about this augment right now, some people are doing showcases showing it doesn't give a real dmg benefit and then there are other's like you that say it works, I think this needs a deeper explanations and could work for a future video.
It applies splinter storm to all enemies and does base damage BUT does apply the damage multiplier
@@kyaii okay thanks for clarifying, that explains why their showcases on simulacrum were showing the base dmg but then when you stack it further you get more dmg, thanks again.

@@kyaii The Damage of the Augmented Storm is the Base DMG of Splinterstorm only so very low dmg, test it plz
It isn't used to damage enemies here as I go over in the video. It is used for its damage multipliers which increases our own Splinter Storm damage and synergizes with the viral proc to again multiply damage. Test it plz

The shattered storm augment is kinda useless and takes a mod space for nothing as the storm on enemy does not stack with gara's stacked shattered storm so it tickles them
It applies a damage multiplier as I stated in the video.
@@kyaii yes but that damage multiplier is useless since the stacked storm on gara will already one shot everything. I guess it would help out the team but for gara herself she doesnt need that multiplier for a mod slot in my opinion
I disagree, allows you to kill much easier at higher steel path and what else could be used there?
@@kyaii In damage you're already fine as gara so id go for survivability with primed sure footed or rolling guard. Or for more damage Blind rage

Gara is honestly one of the best-in-class Warframes in the game. She can deal ludicrous damage with her Stat Stick-boosted Shattered Lash (not counting its aug because holy cow), get energy for free from her Spectrosiphon augment for Spectrorage, and her Mass Vitrify, enough said.
Will I use her a lot? ...no. I can't put my finger on it, but its the same as Nidus or Baruuk; great Warframes, but I can't bring myself to play them enough. Oh well, I'll just dump more hours on Zephyr (poor girl is exhausted, she does all the work!).
