My top 5 primaries for steel path are: 1. Incarnon Guns: I'm including both Phenmor and Felarx in one slot, they're both super OP. 2. Cedo/Bubonico: These both self prime and have multiplicative gunCO scaling making them very similar and EXTREMELY capable of scaling to level cap 3. Trumna: Shreds through mobs like there's no tomorrow and can 1 tap acolytes with the alt fire. Can even be used to level cap 4. Aeolak: Multiplicative gunCO scaling is really hard to beat. Raw viral build with full strip melts everything with truly absurd DPS 5. Kuva Bramma: If you just wanna spam kill ads, this is the gun for you...makes survival so easy. Top 5 Secondary weapons would be: 1. Laetum: Just nutty damage and so much build versatility 2. Epitaph: the best demo primer as Nukor has innate radiation which doesn't work against demos 3. Tenet Cycron: The king of heat inherit. 4. Catchmoon: Multiplicative gunCO scaling enables dumb things like demo 1 shots 5. Spectra Vandal: A Pocket Slash MONSTER. Get a -Punc riven and it gets even nicer Finally, my top 5 melees are: 1. Praedos: Best melee in game with the best melee stance in game. 2. Slaytra: increased slash duration paired with Expedite Suffering and status duration mods makes this thing a level cap MONSTER 3. Tenet Livia: Combo pausing, 12x heavy slash monster, trivializes level cap when using an Expedite Suffering loadout 4. Vastilok: PERMANENT armor strip of any enemy...very hard to find a better utility melee 5. Innodem: Basically Verdilac's meth head cousin...also just has crazy damage output
Oooh I love the cedo too, I didn’t include that one in my list but it’s definitely one of my favorites! I used to use Bubonico a decent amount too but it’s so ugly I can’t stand to look at it 😂 hopefully they make a cool arm cannon skin in the future.

Convectrix surprised me as a pick, may want to try that. My current favorite is the QUASSUS. Not very strong in the normal damage, but with a crit/combo build you can DELETE acolytes with massive damage and forced slash procs.
Convetrix is the slash king. Nothing gets close to it (as noted in the video). Doesn't kill acolytes due to its reliance on applies hundreds of slash procs in seconds but everything else will get absolutely melted by it
if you don't want to shell out for Nikana Prime, a Nikana zaw with Crit can do just as better, hitting a little higher crit values so you don't need to build as much combo
My favorite for SP is a Kitgun primary Chamber: Vermisplicer Loader: Macro Thymoid (this loader is a must due to its longer range, more ammo, decent crit, status chance base 28%) Grip: Tremor Gun needs a Riven to truly shine but works well as a primer without (can get one for 50 p) Galvanized Chamber, Riven (critchance and 2 elements -status dur. is my current), Vital Sense, Critical Delay, Galavanized Aptitude, Hellfire, Hammer Shot, Vile Acceleration, Sinister Reach. Primed Merciless and Pax Charge Reason I love it is because it isn't splash so no knockback still got a large AOE once you hit a target and its a kit gun so infinite ammo. Its a fun gun great for adds it does have a slow first kill but after that it just wrecks.

Nikana Prime. Daikyu [Amalgam Daikyu Target Acquired]. Naramon. Nidus, Nekros, or any other frame you crank the survivability to 11. Go out and murder the star chart while being utterly invincible. Also Slash procs are fine, but I also recommend + Viral because it's just too good.
This might be late but at the point you get to around jupiter or saturn on the base star chart, I would recommend getting a zaw weapon and start farming ostrons until about R3 since it's not to difficult if you don't do bounties to farm standing and you're gonna need to anyways later, as for what you're gonna want, most people use a fast swinging high crit zaw of any weapon type.
I would have to say exodia contagion zaw build is the best melee and outperforms all all of my guns in warframe. I think its a close tie between glave weapons and exodia contagion. I like exodia contagion better however.
Currently I'm taking my exodia contagion plague kripath zaw to everything I can, buffed with 4x +25% melee crit damage crimson archon shards and one +37.5% tauforged crimson shard with riven getting to 150% cc and 9.6x crit multiplier, +300~% shock trooper and +650~% eclipse thrown through volt shield. Hundreds of millions of crit, 1 shot all acolytes and steel path void angels
What other two parts did you pair with the Plague Kripath? If I knew what it was at the time I would have bought more but I have one of each piece from the Narberus event last year and I have found alot of conflicting information on how to build it for Exodia Contagion. Luckily I did purchase enough of those to max it out.
About convectrix: you also have an alt shot which is pretty much the reverse beam, starting in the middle. Just spam the alt shot to prevent beams to go wide
I can run a lot of stuf in Steel Path, but In no particular order my top 10 non-modular weapons would be: 1. Reaper Prime (Heavy Attack + Toxic) 2. Kuva Chakkhurr (with Deadhead) 3. Sepulcrum (Viral+Heat good anti-grineer) 4. Laetum (Only Incarnon Weapon I like using) 5. Nataruk 6. Kuva Nukor (with Cascadia Flare) 7.Cedo 8: Baza Prime (rolled an incredible riven for it) 9: Tenet Detron 10. Kuva Hind (Crit/Stat Auto mode)
@@schem515 you should definitely try it - it has shorter range but wider projectile with punch through making it insane for crowds and the damage is ridiculous - the advantage being that the damage can hit as many enemies as you want it to provided they're within range. Doesn't even need a Riven. Perhaps redeemer prime can do more single target damage but that's rarely preferable imo
on epitaph can run arcane secondary encumber for 24% chance to apply a random status on a status effect aka more statuses making it an even better primer..
If you don't wanna spend plat on nikana prime, get a sepfahn nikana zaw and add exotic hunt, it's like nikana prime but with a slightly weaker ensnare built in.
got Laetum, cant evolve 5th time because i need to do a mission solo while having all 3 types of incarnon weapons equipped and i dont like any of the melees + farming lanthorns is pain :/ very nice
8:40 I have a dexterity arcane on my epitaph because I always use it so when I use baruuk or a melee that needs combo I always have extra time, and if you max the buff out you can 1 shot low level enemies easily
My top 5: 1. Corinth / Corinth Prime. Sounds of gun porn. Still only proper Pump action Shotgun family in the game. 2. Kuva Chakkhurr. Imagine headshotting with huge ass rife. 3. Zymos. Who doesnt want to headshot with burrowing spores. 4. Artemis Bow with Concentrated Arrow augment. Gold standard how to balance AoE. Do you want to clear whole room with giant explosion? Just headshot with floppy arrow. 5. Glaxion Vandal. Its like Ignis Wraith but way cooler. Special mention to weapons with Unreal Tournament skins (Staltha, Dragoon and Ogris). Look and sound awesome.
How does Xoris match up to Cerata? I just built it and it works amazingly but does Cerata excel at killing all types more than the former? (I know if definitely works better against Corpus ofc)
glaive prime cerata and xoris are the top 3 glaives glaive prime is the best one id say since the explosion has forced slash procs great againt armor and u can jsut put a toxin to take care of corpus aswell cerata is a corpus destroyer with its toxin dmg it can also be made into the toxin elemental combos xoris is kinda in the middle ground the biggest aoe of all glaives infinite combo duration and its also free just from a quest
8:20 i rlly wouldnt recommend using amalgam barrel diffusion, as the dodge speed makes the time window in where you dodge shorter, giving you less damage reduction frames. Altough it ends up being personal preference i suppose. Also why are we running a damage mod?

I know none of you care but I’m still gonna say it The reason I don’t use bane mods is because it just straight up feels like a cheat code, it’s not fun (for me) to deal big pp dmg to one faction then use the same mod spec and deal lesser dmg to the other

Atleast CC/CD with maybe Melee Damage/More Toxin/initial combo + neg. A riven with initial combo lets u drop corrupt charge but if not you just replace glad might
Everything look so great until that Nikana build. Combo based melees are THE one thing that is just pretty much the same across any weapon. CO instead of Pressure and no need to over stack on CC, BR and GM is enough for guaranteed oranges and some reds. Instead use Primed Reach as all combo melees need to have range on them. And if it is meant just for entry level steel path and not using a primer, then raw corrosive build should do the trick. Thats when you use Pressure and Steel, along side on the two mods making corrosive.
I WILL CHANGE YOUR MIND. Hear me out i know cerata is best for toxin and glaive prime is best for slash but every other element in the game gets outdone by xoris, not only does it have the largest blast radius it has default electricity making for an easy corrosive viral slash build i hit over 4 mil all the time in endgame try xoris its underrated

my best loadout is Phenmor + DPS tenet cycron / Epitaph + Glaive prime / Zaw Nikana with Exodia Triumph and im very good at making primer weapons into monster DPS weapons so i also have a DPS kuva nukor and DPS Epitah LOL
1. Felarx 2. Kuva nukor 3. Exodia Contagion 4. Epitaph I don't use anything else To note, for priming secondaries, if you have heat on the primer and/or on the main weapons it can stack Cascadia flare which will boost the damage of the main killing weapon

I have condition overload on my ninkana, I don’t know what else atm but I use my kuva nukor to prime and and the steel path I probably only have to slash enemies one or twice
Glavie prime was my favorite until I made the Balla zaw with the Exodia Contagion arcane. Using this with Wisp or Saryrn is absolutely disgusting. Just my opinion.
Primary for me:vermisplicer. Secondary:cycron/nukor although i have a fear DE might completely kill aoe in 2023 i have a good tenet detron with punch through ready. Also for primary i have a tenet flux rifle ready with prime shred since they might nerf vermisplicer at some point. For acolytes i have cerata. With toxin build and unairu armor strip they die usually to 1 heavy attack and if im unlucky they die to 2 🤣

This weapon might be the coolest thing that’s ever happened to warframe 2. This is gonna be your new fav weapon So basically the harmony basically cashes out DPS so if you have 59 stacks of heat on someone and you heavy attack them with the harmony they take all the damage they would of from that 59 stacks in 1 hit so you kinda just done all that overtime damage instantly So the idea is You armor strip with ash You prime with epitaph You kill with harmony This build> level 9999 enemies
Praedos is OBJECTIVELY the best melee to bring for like 90% of the startchart, and it still performs extremly well in the last 10%. It shreds and it gives 30% parkour speed just by the virtue of being equipped. There is absolutely not reason playing without it if you have it except for meming sadly. On primaries, secondaries there are more things to debate over, but it's tough justifying playin with something that doesn't do AoE sadly. I have few weapons that are not AoE and some have even Riven, for instance at some points in the game I used Kuvar Quartakk a lot with a riven because it was dealing obscene single target damage from afar on status resistant things like liches, murex, etc with the alt fire(freaking long distant shotgun blast that has always been dramatically underrated). Primers are highly overrated, most of the time you really don't need to bother with those even in moderately long SP Mot runs where having something to blow up bubbles is generally better at first place.
Honestly praedos is good only for baruuk statstick i use it in the baruuk build and for every other build just put on a zaw or glaive or stropha or whatever but never the praedos
Or just use the vastilok. If you want a utility weapon this is it, armor stripping that's the best in the game, healing return nets you hundreds of health per attack and if you prime them or otherwise put out status it doesn't matter how much hp you have. Dispatch overdrive as well is more speed than praedos could hope to give, and it's not like it needs the slot. Pure utility: vastilok. Damage: Glaives or Stropha
Wasn't the nikana from Cetus alot better cause it procted impact and with conditional overload still multiplies 1,8^(status effect) should be the strongest still.

So I have my phantasma prime set up with the exact same mods as you, but I'm not getting viral. I have no idea why. Do the mods physically have to be placed in the same exact order and forma as you have in the video?

Galv savvy isn't multiplicative to cedo anymore. Run a bane instead for better damage.
What about glaive prime? even without a riven I can easily kill enemies in steel path without armour strip.
If you're using an epitaph for priming just use secondary dexterity for your arcane

What specs? I have a riven but from what I've seen, it's not that good for endurance runs.

the new secondary arcane is really useful on the epitaph, for every 4 status effects it applies it can apply 1 extra

Just go invisible with ash and use the quassas heavy with the guaranteed bleed proc and 1shot the Alco 😃

I recommend you use a primer rather than putting viral on the nikana, it's faster and you get 2 more mod slots on your nikana

5:40 The shotgun barrage mod isn't needed for the Phantasma, all it does is make it so your ammo burns out quicker.
You should try a crit epitaph build using its charged shot only! It can 1 tap level cap enemies on steel path with the amount of slash DoT it can deal

I love using nami skyla with Ash. So many slash procs with the stance that gives multiple hits

got Laetum, cant evolve 5th time because i need to do a mission solo while having all 3 types of incarnon weapons equipped and i dont like any of the melees + farming lanthorns is pain :/ very nice

8:40 I have a dexterity arcane on my epitaph because I always use it so when I use baruuk or a melee that needs combo I always have extra time, and if you max the buff out you can 1 shot low level enemies easily
for those on console , you hold your melee button to throw , at least on my experience
My top 5:
1. Corinth / Corinth Prime. Sounds of gun porn. Still only proper Pump action Shotgun family in the game.
2. Kuva Chakkhurr. Imagine headshotting with huge ass rife.
3. Zymos. Who doesnt want to headshot with burrowing spores.
4. Artemis Bow with Concentrated Arrow augment. Gold standard how to balance AoE. Do you want to clear whole room with giant explosion? Just headshot with floppy arrow.
5. Glaxion Vandal. Its like Ignis Wraith but way cooler.
Special mention to weapons with Unreal Tournament skins (Staltha, Dragoon and Ogris). Look and sound awesome.
How does Xoris match up to Cerata? I just built it and it works amazingly but does Cerata excel at killing all types more than the former? (I know if definitely works better against Corpus ofc)
glaive prime cerata and xoris are the top 3 glaives
glaive prime is the best one id say since the explosion has forced slash procs great againt armor and u can jsut put a toxin to take care of corpus aswell
cerata is a corpus destroyer with its toxin dmg it can also be made into the toxin elemental combos
xoris is kinda in the middle ground the biggest aoe of all glaives infinite combo duration and its also free just from a quest
8:20 i rlly wouldnt recommend using amalgam barrel diffusion, as the dodge speed makes the time window in where you dodge shorter, giving you less damage reduction frames. Altough it ends up being personal preference i suppose. Also why are we running a damage mod?
nobody uses rolls for dr and theres no damage mod
@@777valikaze everyone uses the roll to evade damage, thats the main purpose of a movement ability. making that movement ability worse by making it shorter just seems bad to ms

The reason I don’t use bane mods is because it just straight up feels like a cheat code, it’s not fun (for me) to deal big pp dmg to one faction then use the same mod spec and deal lesser dmg to the other

I decided to pick up cerata because of your preachings and im loving it.. what stats would a you recommend on a Riven for it and which mod out of the build would you replace with said stats?
Atleast CC/CD with maybe Melee Damage/More Toxin/initial combo + neg. A riven with initial combo lets u drop corrupt charge but if not you just replace glad might
just toxin on glaive makes slash tick to health on corpus as soon as both proc on an enemy which will be all the time

Everything look so great until that Nikana build. Combo based melees are THE one thing that is just pretty much the same across any weapon. CO instead of Pressure and no need to over stack on CC, BR and GM is enough for guaranteed oranges and some reds. Instead use Primed Reach as all combo melees need to have range on them. And if it is meant just for entry level steel path and not using a primer, then raw corrosive build should do the trick. Thats when you use Pressure and Steel, along side on the two mods making corrosive.

literally the only 2 weapons i use are ignis wraith (main) and nataruk for various assassination missions

Hear me out i know cerata is best for toxin and glaive prime is best for slash but every other element in the game gets outdone by xoris, not only does it have the largest blast radius it has default electricity making for an easy corrosive viral slash build i hit over 4 mil all the time in endgame try xoris its underrated

I love the cedo, I use it to prime for my laetum but it does plenty damage to work on its own

only rank 10 atm , but i love to use the soma prime and the Broken War for melee , secondary i barely use but i would go for them that miragi uses if you buy the package, akzani i think its called ? Sure gonna try and build all them waepons you mentioned if my rank is acquired
personally I run glaive prime with toxin, it does the job well enough for corpus
my best loadout is Phenmor + DPS tenet cycron / Epitaph + Glaive prime / Zaw Nikana with Exodia Triumph and im very good at making primer weapons into monster DPS weapons so i also have a DPS kuva nukor and DPS Epitah LOL
What about exodia contagion zaw?? Definitely outperforms most weapons for speedrunning

To note, for priming secondaries, if you have heat on the primer and/or on the main weapons it can stack Cascadia flare which will boost the damage of the main killing weapon
well only the secondary will ge tthe dmg boost

unfortunately its ass to play, but it synergizes well with zephyr
i use a crit corrosive rabvhe zaw build with exodia contagion with mirage's eclipse and do anywhere from 1 to 18 million damage

Trumna is in my opinion the best gun in game.Its basicly archgun with galvenized mods.

Wish i could afford Glaive Prime for that easy to use melee when I'm not using melee weapons usually - but people like to call it a crutch

I farmed max standing for zariman and little duck for 8 days, sold two r5 arcanes for 330p and bought glaive prime for 220p.
@@V4Vroom xoris cerata and glaive all are good glaive good for big dmg against armored enemys cus bleeds cerata for corpus and xoris is a good dps and melee primer weapon with its infinite combo duration

I have condition overload on my ninkana, I don’t know what else atm but I use my kuva nukor to prime and and the steel path I probably only have to slash enemies one or twice

How can you run a utility weapon without the arcane? Primary dexterity is a must in all melee builds.
Glavie prime was my favorite until I made the Balla zaw with the Exodia Contagion arcane.
Using this with Wisp or Saryrn is absolutely disgusting. Just my opinion.
Primary for me:vermisplicer.
Secondary:cycron/nukor although i have a fear DE might completely kill aoe in 2023 i have a good tenet detron with punch through ready. Also for primary i have a tenet flux rifle ready with prime shred since they might nerf vermisplicer at some point. For acolytes i have cerata. With toxin build and unairu armor strip they die usually to 1 heavy attack and if im unlucky they die to 2 🤣
i have a zaw with the same stats as a nikana prime. which allows me to use exodia contagion

Next you need the newer weapon HARMONY
1. This weapon might be the coolest thing that’s ever happened to warframe
2. This is gonna be your new fav weapon
So basically the harmony basically cashes out DPS so if you have 59 stacks of heat on someone and you heavy attack them with the harmony they take all the damage they would of from that 59 stacks in 1 hit so you kinda just done all that overtime damage instantly
So the idea is
You armor strip with ash
You prime with epitaph
You kill with harmony
This build> level 9999 enemies

Praedos is OBJECTIVELY the best melee to bring for like 90% of the startchart, and it still performs extremly well in the last 10%. It shreds and it gives 30% parkour speed just by the virtue of being equipped. There is absolutely not reason playing without it if you have it except for meming sadly.
On primaries, secondaries there are more things to debate over, but it's tough justifying playin with something that doesn't do AoE sadly. I have few weapons that are not AoE and some have even Riven, for instance at some points in the game I used Kuvar Quartakk a lot with a riven because it was dealing obscene single target damage from afar on status resistant things like liches, murex, etc with the alt fire(freaking long distant shotgun blast that has always been dramatically underrated).
Primers are highly overrated, most of the time you really don't need to bother with those even in moderately long SP Mot runs where having something to blow up bubbles is generally better at first place.

Honestly praedos is good only for baruuk statstick i use it in the baruuk build and for every other build just put on a zaw or glaive or stropha or whatever but never the praedos
Glaives will out damage praedos as does contagion although the latter requires a riven to completely outpace
Or just use the vastilok. If you want a utility weapon this is it, armor stripping that's the best in the game, healing return nets you hundreds of health per attack and if you prime them or otherwise put out status it doesn't matter how much hp you have.
Dispatch overdrive as well is more speed than praedos could hope to give, and it's not like it needs the slot. Pure utility: vastilok. Damage: Glaives or Stropha

Wasn't the nikana from Cetus alot better cause it procted impact and with conditional overload still multiplies 1,8^(status effect) should be the strongest still.
I got the sporelacer but the grip and loader the components looks very hard to get

So I have my phantasma prime set up with the exact same mods as you, but I'm not getting viral. I have no idea why. Do the mods physically have to be placed in the same exact order and forma as you have in the video?
Do you see viral as a dmg on the modding screen
@Noah Edenborg so I figured out what I was doing wrong. And you're right, viral wasn't appearing bc I had my mods placed incorrectly. It's fixed now and doing wonderful damage!
