What shards should I put on this build? got some saved up and ready to slot on my gara prime
It suck tbh, you did not provide build link, and you constantly mouseover mods ingame so it hard to pause in right moment just to read mod composition.
Been grinding up for this build, starting to get close. However, with the next update pretty much killing shieldgating, how would you change the build for more survivability?
Gara is like Zephyr.
Both are powerful Warframes that, for some ungodly reason, no one even bothers to try.

Zephyr is wild honestly. I’m more into weapons platform frames, personally, but I tried her out for a while when I first crafted her and was really impressed considering her pick rate.
Because DE is too lazy to write detail about abilities, and as limited source player I cant try everything.
Let them be underused, DE won't nerf them
I'm still in the process off obtaining Zephyr Prime as i've seen so many good videos on her, i love trying out different frames and playstyles.
Also, underrated Weapons, Frames, builds etc is just the best.
The amount of times I’ve seen Gara wipe out an entire tile set by pressing 2 buttons
What I love about Warframe is how unique the abilities are, and how they often synergize pretty well with the others. Like Limbo, he might seem pretty simple, but the mechanics of the Rift do offer some complexity.
My only personal issue with Limbo is that it's slightly difficult to see which enemies are in the rift or not. Rifted enemies having a glowing outline around their body based on your energy color would be great. Aside from that, yeah Limbo is fun to play.
I’m an old player, been slowing catching up on all the primes I’ve missed. Your guides have been invaluable in getting back up to speed.
Blocking is the most underrated mechanic in the whole game. You block all incoming damage. For those long SP runs or just to get a quick breather in high levels, it essential to know how to block.
These videos are awesome. And genuinely teach me so much as a MR9 who's just getting into SP.
Gara is one of those frames that doesn't vibe with my playstyle. I see her damage and have the want to replicate it but the frame doesn't hit my niche vibes the way I want.
Gara is my first Prime but I missed out on Tennocon so I had to build her the old way. I appreciate the breakdown

I really love Gara, had no idea though that ceramic dagger interacted with her kit like that. Only thing I'm missing for this build is the Grendel subsumed ability. So time to farm that :D

Ceramic is the best IMO because of the combo stuff, atleast for Gara as she doesnt build combo with Lash

i personally prefer Nami Solo as a statstick, as it gives both crit and status chance, which allows her 1st ability not only crit, but also apply bleed, and it's incarnon form gives it +3m range, so it's easier to build combo, and i found new Kullervo's shotgun very good for getting meele combo fast
Actually working ont his build now its alot of fun still missing a few mods though, though trying t manage the energy is tough

My problem with Gara was the constant recasting. Brozime did a comfort Gara build with nourish but was more duration based. add in the archon shards for duration for me turned her into something nice to play once in a while into a walking monster, her "I love you!!! Come give me a hug!!!!" for me became an easier way to play her when your timers are 56 seconds for splinter storm and 64 for nourish. She just became that lets run around and spread the love while everything dies. 😂
I guess I understand that but casting Nourish every 30 seconds with this build is really no different than 56 seconds in the long run.
You also will be constantly spamming Mass Vitrify as it refreshes Storm and is both how you get MORE damage and shield gate.
I find going super high on duration to be a waste
@@kyaii No it is the duration on splinter storm that I was talking about. When I first got Gara, her splinter storm lasted like 15 or so seconds which if you was not watching it you could loose your accumulated damage. Plus back then she had horrible energy economy. She was just not my cup of tea.
Fast forward to a few months ago when we got the new reworked Grendel and nourish and the archon shards, Gara went from having to watch her timers to oh I have time and do not need to worry. With higher duration on her splinter storm, Gara goes from this frantic caster and horrible energy economy to a chill kill everything frame.
Is my Gara perfect? No, there is always room for improvement. But with the higher duration I am not feeling like I have to micromanage everything.

Man, i really wanna use wrathful revenant and have vitrify. I had to subsume over it since, with no nourish, the only way to keep my energy up was using spectrorage with grouping tools. But seeing this makes me realize how amazing mass vitrify is for a shattered lash build. I need to further experiment.
Oh btw, i recommend using weeping wounds on your stat stick, seems to get me way more bleeds with the help of the high initial combo

With this combo, sometimes enemies will take multiple slash procs

had over 1000 hours on gara back in 2018 or 2019 i think got back into the game after a few years and picked her back up. Do you use any archon shards in the build?

Cool video. Any thoughts on a variant using Wrathful Advance instead of Nourish? Viral primer, Zenurik, and Energize instead of Avenger.
I believe this build scales way better.
You already get mostly reds on this build at 12x combo so why devote an entire helminth to JUST that when you get all these other insane benefits from nourish
@@kyaii That's my gut feeling too. But I'm also to the point where builds are starting to get bonus credit for _not_ using Nourish. :P
She didnt show up as one of the drops for me so closed the stream. Turns out i just had to wait/come back later
i only use gara for splinter storm (i like running into enemies and they just die)- using fragor prime as the stat stick, I can get about 40k-45k a stack when breaking mass viltrify. Im gonna try this build even though it doesnt seem like it builds stacks as quickly as fragor does
Learned the weapon used for stat stick doesn't really matter anymore like it used to. Now it is just the mods on your melee. So go for a melee with 5 disposition so you can get better stats for the riven

Any melee works. The ability stats only get increased by the mods. Daggers incarnon just have some stats that count as mod stats. But better riven disposition weapons work good cause you can get higher stats on the riven. I'm going for a cassowar build rn, just need a better riven than my zaw
Sentinel is really gud on gara, you can stack 2 splinter storm damage instances at once, better than a panzer imo
Eclipse also really gud, can easily stack 800k+ splinter storm damage per 4+1 rotation
I would love to see an Atlas and Baruuk + ceramic dagger build guide. I think a lot of people including me kinda need it 😂
Atlas would quite literally be the same build except with impact mods

Is shattered storm really useful? A rolling guard or some other utility sounds a lot more useful.
It just helps with getting even more damage. Not only does it provide some level of crowd control but it just means you can 1 shot those higher level enemies just that much easier.
Feel free to swap it out if youd rather not use it though as its not neccesary

What i don't like about Gara is that you have to cast her 4 to refresh the duration on her 2. If i were a dev i would make it a channeling ability. I would also remove being able to cast it on others, since no one does that, for a radius around Gara for allies, for example. I'm going to post that on the forums now that i think about it.

Magistar is a good choice and possibly better then ceramic since it gives 1x crit multiplier meaning garas 1st has at base 2x cd

You could also replace arcane fury for arcane blade charger (arcane blade charger gives 300 percent mellee damage)
Yes but u have to get kill with primary and arcane fury is really just more consistent
The rauta is also à good choice since it increase your mele combo by one for evry bullette that hit an enemy, so full multishot
Problem is you need a good gun for the 100 kills on ceramic

Gara is great but her nuke requires so much aggressive attention to work and you can't really do anything else while using it without killing the build up.
She is amazing as hell, don't get me wrong, but she is not nearly as easy to use nor as wide spread in capabilities as some other frames. Similar problem to octavia but not brain melting and with slightly less blatently broken stuff.
I just keep running out of energy 😅
I chose to not use the added range mods as gara already has insane range. The main thing it affects is the first ability and instead I went with duration so I don't have to cast my fourth ability as often. You could also possibly go efficiency with this. Also, it's important to be able to kill with your primary. This also helps with energy usage so you don't have to spam the first as much.
She'll always be special to me because she was my first prime. I'll never forget the time I hit 100k dmg with her shards for the first time in a survival and felt unstoppable

Don't use the augment. It doesn't scale with his 2. It only deals the base damage.

@@kyaii Yes i'm sorry. This augment is hard to understand. I had to go to read the wiki a few times too. Do you feel like the damage vulnerability is helping you killing the enemies? When i use it i feel like i'm wasting a slot somehow. I don't feel the difference. And a lot of people doesn't seem to like it too.
I went to test it again, in the simulacrum this time, and i can notice a bit more damage with my weapons, but definetly not with the abilities. It doesn't convince me.
For base enemies no.
It's mainly heavier units are higher level stuff later in missions where additional multipliers are arguably the most useful you can get

She still has that high pitched shrill sounds. Very fitting but i just cant stand it, simiar to when overguard breaks on Kullervo. I like the concept and power behind her, but that awful sound...
I enjoy running around and just killing enemies by touching them.

This is quite easy.
Get 100 kills with Torid.
Cast 2 and 3
Cast 4 and break with 1
Repeat last step infinitely and recast 3 when needed

@@crisis514 you can give splinter storm to your companion, kubrow or kavat not ideal to make this trick cuz they keep running around, but sentinel always be with you when you shattered lash it will increase splinter storm dmg to your sentinel. That the mostly Gara main do to run high end map. If you stack 1M dmg that mean your sentinel also have 1M dmg make sure you give them buff after you buff yourself to know how much both of you have dmg. That's mean double the dmg to the enemy who come closer to you. And also it refresh splinter storm on sentinel when you refresh also.
Nourish is good and all, but I refuse to put an ability that has that noise on a female frame lol

strong, yes. But a bit too repetetive, almost bordering on boring. Also pseudo exalted weapons are clunky and confusing for newer players

U can also use bo incarnon for status chance with kullervo helmith to red crit and bleed with ur 1 plus bo incarnon can build combo via blocking
Honestly i dont think shattered storm is good like i guess some cc and debuff but like an epitaph can do that
Storm is just easier to apply and I like having my melee out to stay topped off with combo blocking

Meele stat stick info wrong. Your gonna confuse newer players by saying in the begining it doesnt matter then later mention incarnon. Seriously it takes 10 seconds to say. Also nourish is so pointless on gara, theres literally 0 need for it.

Clearly the beginning of this video was focused towards newer players. Vets dont need the basic ability functions explained to them.
Furthermore, once I get to the Ceramic Dagger part, it is purposefully written as an "Aha! We can do something unique to get around this limitation!"
As for Nourish...
Gara's energy consumption is INSANE. Nourish solves that.
The added viral damage massively boosts the stat stick, contributing to a faster build up of Splinter Storm and easier killing with Lash itself.
The retaliation wave is not only crowd control as it stuns affected enemies, but it also boosts Lash's damage, Splinter Storm's damage, repeat viral wave damage, and Mass Vitrify's explosion damage.

@Muthy none of that is needed still. I run terrify as a helminth to armor strip and I still can spam without ever using energize or nourish. Also panzer is a thing for viral.
All this convoluted bs just to kill level 130 enemies lol... bruh
