@@smooneychad well... your videos HAVE been getting WAYY more views recently... You just have to keep posting quality content, you get more views, get more people watching, and then exponentially increase (that's the dream!)
My plan for the ksp1 aircraft only "sequel" is to have some plane contract/mission mods installed so we can do more interesting stuff with planes on kerbin's surface, one of the mods even has water rescues and stuff, very fun.
If I had to guess, knowing this game, something tells me that the lil chonker mission requires your launch vehicle to be that weight, not whatever ends up on the surface.
I'd bet money you're right on that, I tested with the same base but pre built in the VAB then teleported to minmus and it completed the mission just fine, but that's obviously not the case with the orbitally built one. I'm just gonna need to send a no-frills huge spaceplane over to Minmus and end this lil chonker mission once and for all lol
I'll definitely do some spacex-ish rockets eventually (made a crappy starship replica in another save recently) just not in this series since they're rockets after all
btw i just binge watch most of the space plane series....awesom work would love a bit of a more detailed walk though tried to copy the gilly ssto and did not come out half as good my uhh..compressed hydrogen... added a ton of weight think maybe an update killed that? or i suck...i might suck me and sstos have had a rocky time together lol my vtol ssto uhh...had some issues lol
Glad you like them, I'm gonna be doing a detailed walkthroughs of how I make SSTOs gradually working up to the more complex ones so stay tuned, I'll probably dedicate a video to just the long range SSTOs like the nuclear ones! In the mean time, you could have just added too many tanks so maybe take some off, also make sure they're all connected end to end with a nose cone on both ends of the stack, to minimize kraken attacks and drag. If the trouble is in getting to orbit itself make sure to stay as prograde as possible on the way up since although they're hidden all those hydrogen tanks still have an immense amount of drag when at any sort of angle to the wind-stream (this is where pre-angling your wings really helps) I hope some of that helps lmk! :D
I'll definitely do some more laid back stuff if people would like that! :) In the meantime, I edit my videos the way I'd personally enjoy watching them, especially since I have very little free time for watching videos myself (unfortunately) and that usually comes out as pretty fast paced (I blame the caffeine) But it's definitely not due to an abundance of effort in the editing department! lol
i just dont understand why the youtube algorithm hates you, you deserve way, way more!!
Maybe one day it'll hate me slightly less, in the mean time I'm happy posting these for all of you guys that are already here! :D
@@smooneychad i hope you keep on posting!! keep it up

@@smooneychadhey, your audio(enunciation) could use a bit more work :) good video tho.
Losing your sanity only to make series about KSP2 without rockets? FUCK YEAH !
-Smooneychad be liek
It's a fair trade if you ask me lol
@@smooneychad xd
Yes early!
Love your videos by the way, hope everyone have a nice day!
Dude you're the one of the most underrated KSP creators that I've ever seen keep on making content and never give up
Many thanks! Gonna keep pushing on and making videos as long as I’m still kickin’!
Love your SSTO designs
Glad you like them!! This one is definitely up there with my personal favorite designs, weird, dual fuselage, asymmetric, and functions well to boot!
@@smooneychad Now I just need to get KSP2 and then learn to play
YAY
finally we got a new one
Banger like every othe video...what is your idee for the next series?
I got an Idee. Play the Game but when you die in an Mission you cant go Back. You need to do IT again. And IT need to be realistic.

Minmus or bust 🗣️🗣️🗣️
You have the grid fins, why shouldn’t you do a falcon catch?

For every like this comment get il do 1 pushup. BTW LOVE YOUR VIDEOS SMOONY!!!!!
Thank You!!! :D and good luck with the pushups! (7 at the time of writing this)
Try to break an world record or play a 2player world with another youtuber
I wonder what WR I could do?... also there'll definitely be some multiplayer shenanigans as soon as it comes to ksp2! :D
i was in the first 200 subs
Seriously!? Thanks so much for sticking around all this time, I know my content has certainly changed a lot!
Such a shame how buggy KSP2 still is; over the course of this video you've run into over a dozen
The bugs definitely scale with the size and part count of missions, the eventually Jool 5 we do is going to be especially "interesting"
Try to make movies
You are overediting it, trust me i was there once too, Keep it simple and no need to be in rush, its good to do fast paced videos but not rushed ones.
