This video was mostly made before the layoffs at Intercept Games. Still not much is known about what is really going on, and the future of KSP 2. I'll definitely update you guys when we actually know the fate of the game and if it will continue development or not. In the mean time, I'm gonna probably start up our modded KSP 1 Aircraft Only series and work on few other projects (TLW) while KSP 2's fate is figured out. This series *will* be seen all the way through to completion though regardless! Just gonna give it some time since I'm honestly really frustrated with the situation like many others, and posting videos of the game during this just doesn't quite feel right.
I'm finding watching KSP2 overstimulating. I have problems with overstimulation in many situations, but let's just say your newest video, Smoonychad, the start of the KSP1 airplane series, is a lot more relaxing for me to watch.
Same, and I'd rather get the updates incredibly slowly, or half broken than never get them at all. I really hope they at least hand the development over to *someone* rather than flat out abandoning it. The wait to see continues! :/
@@Tupolev.114 If it somehow became a community project that'd be awesome, complete transparency and features that the players actually want, like props and robotics! (in a perfect world ofc lol)
If anyone is having trouble with sticky landed states on craft with tires, I found that taking it off a jump is guaranteed way to get the game to register "Low Orbit", It is a lot harder to to with big craft but if you have a small lander that might be easier then modifying save game files.
I will definitely try this! I just had something really similar happen in the first game. I was recording the first episode of the KSP1 version of this series and ran into an issue where the first contract to "launch a craft", wasn't completing when I launched. Turns out something about taking off like a plane caused it to completely not register the contract, taking off more vertically completely fixed it! I wonder if it's the same sort of thing going on with both games
Could be automatic switching being enabled on the engines doing that. Switching it off in the part manager, on all engines separately, should fix it. It's really dumb that they even have automatic switching for reverse thrust to begin with though lol

Whether you continue this series on ksp 1 or 2 I'll keep watching it so please do continue!
Really sad about ksp2(
You are a extremely underrated TH-camr

KSP1 has been much more relaxing to record on my end so far, so I'm glad the viewing experience is the same! :D
Really hope they at least add the interstellar update and fix the numerous bugs if it gets cancelled. Really a shame

@@smooneychad Yeah or maybe they could hand it over to the modding community

@@smooneychad Still doubt such a thing would happen though, knowing must studios

@@smooneychad nice!
When they add interstelar you can do a Star Wars themed ssto or spaceplane
I'd really like to do that sometime interstellar or not! There's sooo many designs I could do from Stars Wars
@@smooneychad Btw I specified interstelar because (I think so) every Star Wars ships can travel whit lightspeed/ can go interstelar.
i hope they continue fixing the bugs atleast
Same, the next few patches were set to fix most if not all the problems I ran into in this vid
I wish my jets engines didn't randomly reverse thrust at takeoff so I could fly too :/

@@smooneychad Good advice ty
Does this mark the end of
Not quite, I still want to unlock the last few nodes in the tech tree and visit Dres and Eeloo as well as a few other ideas I've had floating around
No need to warn about spoilers if the game would never be released. 😂
the game is about to die but at least smooneychad can milk the last bit of good content this game has to offer
It ain't much but it's honest work! 🤠
