Great video, easy to follow along. Well explained, steady camera, good lighting. You guys really make the job look easy. Wasn't looking forward to tackling my 06 F150. But I have more confidence now. Thank You!
Perfect, just perfect. Thanks for the steady camera work, and bright lighting....the bain of most TH-cam how-to videos. Excellent work guys, just excellent. And I have very high standards.
"You can't see it, but it's definitely down there behind this cross member. Anyways we're not going to actually replace the part, just show roughly where it is and oops I dropped my phone"
Great video nice how detail about the jod evey nut an bolt thats what im talking about, just one thing what color is the radiator fluid used? Keep up the awesome work
I just have a small coolant seep, but I'm just gonna do a whole new water pump, fan clutch, cooling fan blade, radiator drain plug, and thermostat, and new upper and lower radiator hose and new coolant reservoir, so it's fixed fixed that's what I would personally do. I might as well do a new Radiator while I'm at it.
Nice video guys. Can you also post video about blue driver live features what numbers mean, what is proper digits and so. I’m kind of lost. Many thanks
Any ideas where these usually break ! ? Iv got a 06 with 155k. Domt want to break down on the side do the highway I did notice some belt squeak last winter that was strange but it’s gone now in summer and after winter. If I go in and do pulleys and belt which I did a few back at 90k I feel like it be the best time to do water pump and fan clutch LOL. Of course
so when the parts places ask whether i need a 30mm pump or a 36mm pump are they meaning the thread size on the pump shaft or are they talking about the wrench size needed to remove the clutch?
Anybody know if I can just take off the fan pulley and water pump all at once by removing the water pump? My fan clutch bolt is completely stuck and it's being a mother to remove.
Quickest way to get the proper part number may be to call a parts department at a dealership and ask what the actually part number is for your year vehicle!
That'll work if you have something that big lying around (36mm), but you may still need something to keep the water pump pulley still depending on how stubborn it is
Great video. Just got myself into a 2005 F150 5.4 V8 186k miles, excited to start the journey to 250k

Another great video. Thank you! (Keep these F150 5.4L videos coming. My 2005 and I appreciate them.)
Thank you very much for this video, it helped me gain the confidence on changing the pump on my 5.4 32v, even though I already knew how to change it.
Sirs thank you for the content, its always better to get a visual lesson and you save the video for future reference.
Good job guys!!
You guys are life savers! Couldn’t have done it without y’all. Excellent video thank you so much
Excellent video guys, my pump hasn't gone yet, but now I'm prepared if it does.

12:35 "rotate...cry...rotate...cry..." lol .... great video.
I think they were saying rotate, pry
I replaced thermostat fan clutch and water pump but my truck still overheats… what else am I missing???
Thinking out of the box, amazing 👍🏻
As much as we love buying tools, it hurts to pay for one you'll only use once
good step by step video, great job... also subscribed to your channel
Thank you for your videos bro 😎 🤜🏼🤛🏼

Side note, I’m an alignment tech, a 36mm wrench is used enough by me to justify a purchase 😂
I got a (2005 f150 4.6L),,,, how much anti freeze does it take if its totally empty of anti freeze,,,,
If you're drained dry the 4.6 takes about 18.6L or 20.7 qt of coolant
@@LemurMonitorswhat about the 5.4L?
@@LemurMonitorsand what type specifically?
Great job!!!
Thank, I need to check my thermostat
Do you guys have a part number for that water pump?
Quickest way to get the proper part number may be to call a parts department at a dealership and ask what the actually part number is for your year vehicle!
Why wouldn't you use a large crescent wrench with a soft blow hammer to break the fan free?
That'll work if you have something that big lying around (36mm), but you may still need something to keep the water pump pulley still depending on how stubborn it is
THANK YOU!
That truck needs a new timing set..or at least some tensioners..that chain rattle is horrible 🤣.
Sadly her days on the road are coming to an end due to terminal canada rust
Way to much time was being concerned about radiator heat hissing from a cold engine. Lol
Fan and water pump a long chisel and a hammer and whack it it comes right off and then the same thing to put it back on just whack it
I wish I had smaller
