    Hello everyone! This is my bike.
    I want to first and foremost thank Chris, Miss Emerald and everyone in Moore Mafia team for hosting us and letting my 4yr old run absolutely wild on their showroom getting on top of every single quad, ATV, and motorcycle that he could put his hands on. You guys have left a lasting mark in his heart and he would not stop talking about you guys.
    As far as the bike is concerned it was worth every single penny to drive from Buffalo New York and back to have it tuned by one of the best.
    If anyone has any question please let me know.

      @@jakemiller4693 engine braking is still there but the harsh nose dive is gone if that makes any sense. The other way I would describe it is the harsh nose dive that used to exist before flashing only has about 25% remaining. For me that's a good thing as I opted for it. I live in a mountainous region and I drive almost exclusively in backcountry mountainous twisty roads so I ask Chris to have little bit of engine braking and I am happy with what I got.

    I have this bike and I bought this exhaust. Just a heads up to you guys out there are essentially three different variations of this exact there's one for the Tracer 9 one for the empty 09 and one for the xsr 900. The headers and the muffler are the same between all three what differs is the mounting hardware and the exhaust tip. Both the Tracer 9 and the xsr 900 on Leo Vinci's website have the curved exhaust that does not have the carbon fiber heat shield but possibly fits the extended swing arm of the Tracer and the xsr 900 better.. because of the center stand on the Tracer 900 the mounting hardware for it differs from that of the mt09 and xsr900 the mt09/ xsr seem to have different brackets as well one being black and one aluminum on the mt-09 and xsr 900 respectively. Two note it does say on the Leo Vinci website that it is possible due to Old Stock that you will receive improper mounting hardware which is honestly kind of ridiculous... however in this video it looks like they got a mt-09 pipe to fit well on a xsr900 I have seen videos of the same pipe but it does not seem to fit nearly as close to the swing arm not sure if I prefer the carbon fiber heat shield and straighter tip or the curved tip.

    Love a good triple. Really want to see some aftermarket cams or at least re-grind options for these and a bit of head work. 130-140whp and shifting the entire powerband and redline up by about 2k RPM would make these perfect. After that, just give it an FZ1-style chin and top fairing, keep the mostly upright position, and slap on a bolt-on stretch in the "short" position and it's the GOAT.

    • @Turbotuberx3
      @Turbotuberx3 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This. I get that they made the bike a torque bike.. but its still 900cc at 120WHP ish tuned versus the mt10 which is only 100cc more and makes like 30 more whp stock. Adding this to my stable that contains a 2016 r1 has been sort of weak sauce. The XSR compared to the mt10.: weight and fuel consumption of the mt10, not to mention the 4k difference in money made it more favorable. Buit it is kinda slow compared the cp4 bikes.

    • @wetwea33
      @wetwea33 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@Turbotuberx3 you are ignoring the fact that it has 1 less cylinder, has a much longer stroke (which means a much lower rev limiter), and lower compression. This is all going to result in lower power but a much broader tq band. I would bet up to 100 this bike keeps up if not beats the mt10.

    • @Turbotuberx3
      @Turbotuberx3 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    • @Drunken_Hamster
      @Drunken_Hamster 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@wetwea33 The theoretical safe rev limit of the CP3's roughly 60mm stroke is 12,000 for a near bulletproof engine and 13,500 for something closer to track spec but still reliable/durable. That's 24 meters per second and 27 meters per second piston speed, respectively.
      As I said, if you took the powerband and rev limit of the CP3 and moved it all up by 2000 RPM, it'd be the perfect engine. 2x HP to torque ratio and a 12k RPM redline. Bulletproof, ridable, doesn't choke on the top, doesn't hesitate in the bottom, still has an insane midrange, just a little more top-biased.
      Leave the 13.5k+ RPM shit to the 4-cyl bikes with ~50mm stroke lengths. I'll take one less cylinder, a narrower chassis, and a more useful powerband any day.

      that's goes to most new motorcycles., all 2020's are faster than the 2021-2023 same models of motorcycles. New models are E5 emissions restrictions. My Ducati supersport has 5-7 more HP than the new one, same for the new Hayabusa, has less HP and gas tank is smaller than the previous generations. Some manufactures there were able to continue making same models others just got discontinue like the Yamaha R6. New models came with less HP but with a little more torque to compensate, others increase the CC's with more torque because that's the only way to make E5 emissions their motorcycles example of that is the Moto Guzzi V7 it went from 700cc 2020 model to 850cc new models with more torque. The new Ducati supersport has less HP but their increase the Torque.

    I thought it had a new frame, not the same as an MT 09, shorter travel suspension too.

    • @exothermal.sprocket
      @exothermal.sprocket ปีที่แล้ว

      Assuming 11,000 rpm can be reached in 6th, a theoretical 165 mph. Add in all the air drag, tire drag, rider drag, and the fact it would require more horsepower with that much wind speed/drag to achieve that speed, you get the idea.

    Isn't it dangerous to not be on the bike during runs? What if you hear an off sound and you can't pull in the clutch or slow down the back wheel to stop it detonating itself.

  • @mjb2093
    @mjb2093 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Yea, obviously that one was pretty well tuned from the factory........exhaust and tune quite a price to pay for relatively low gains for the average rider. You can tell Yamaha was going for the vintage look of the Seca with this one.........

    The final tone...... not my choice of system. But it seems to be designed well enough to restore most all the power.
    Funny, Yamaha must have merely given the 890cc more torque and left the peak power where the 847cc was, if not slightly less honestly. Most everyone who knows the CP3 engine knows it made an average of 115 whp or more in the last version.

      More than likely. Add 43cc and reduce power. Even though it's pretty much an entirely new engine, architecturally it's very similar. Probably cams are making it milder.

    Great video but honestly, running any exhaust without a baffle is gonna sound loud without spending a thousand bucks on one but i personally got a bit lost with your figures as you were quoting numbers with reference to what the numbers were ??
    You said you had got it from 111 to 112 ?? Is that BHP , NM or mph , I'm sure this particular bike is better than 112 mph ??
    And is quoted at 117bhp , so I'm guessing your 112 figure is torque?? NM ??

    • @tlalexander3
      @tlalexander3 19 วันที่ผ่านมา

      stock I believe it will hit about 130. That's about the fastest I've rode my 18. But it gets a wobble around 120 and that is common for these bikes. You really need to change the suspension and a little geometry to safely get to a higher speed. I bought mine for the acceleration and handling though, not high speeds

      Drive train loss. Factory HP ratings are done at the engine.. all the things between the engine and the tire create loss. This bike has about 10% loss.
