    Without even watching what you said...after only sitting on that bike i felt great from that sitting position. It's much more preferred comparing to MT09. More pressure on front wheel and more agile. Didn't ride it yet but I just wish they made 09 more pressed front like 07 and 10.

    OC: It's the MT09 SP for me. Being a MT09 SP owner, I'm a lil basis. I got to test ride the XSR900 then the MT09 SP the same day. I liked the performance of the XSR900, but the tail wasn't doing it for me. Then riding the MT09 SP. I fell in love with the ride and had to buy it.

    How does the Yamaha triple engine caricature compare to the Triumph street triple 765 engine ? do they have any after market seats and windscreens for the XSR ? the only thing that I'm not sure I like with the XSR is the seat looks and comfort. and the plastic between the seat and the tank. as someone who is usually sitting up against the tank it seems like I would be sitting on plastic. but you rarely hear people talk about it in videos on the bike.

    Interesting. I’ve had four Yamaha triples since ‘14, and have simply modified and adapted. I prefer the first gen bikes, but appreciate the evolution of the brand. I don’t consider the newer bikes to be anything but completely new takes on previous models, which is not a bad thing. I may love to argue about which I prefer, but it’s not important. Yamaha kept pushing forward with their triples, something you have to applaud. Same thing triumph has been doing. Like it or not, it’s not boring. 👍

    This bike is so good. It's not perfect but honestly it's just what most people need. I wish there is sp suspension and just charge 1000 more as its aim for more matured riders or people with more years under their helmets to utilize full of this bike. But is this price there is no fault . It's not fast but plenty fast enough. It could keep up with 600 on twisties . Might not corner as sharp but u be right at their tail after corner exist with its massive torque.

    The New 2023/4 Triumph Street Triple R (Similar Cost to XSR9). certainly giving the XSR9 a run. More HP, 125 less CC. How'd they do this? The XSR9 has a few more Ft/Lbs of Torque though. Not sure which is faster.. Torque is usually the Boner Maker.. We need a new Review of the XSR9 VS the New Street Triple R.

    • @dimsunny9725
      @dimsunny9725 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The Street Triple has better suspension, handling & brakes, so will be faster to ride 7 also providing a more "planted" & racier feel. Also, the more forward position of the Triumph puts your upper body lower than on the XSR900. The 3ple needs to be rev' ed much higher than the Yammie which has better torque lower down, so it really depends on your riding style.

    It's funny how they put CP in all the marketing for the inline 3s. There's nothing special about the 3 like there can be about the CP4 and CP2. Those are legitimately crossplane bikes or odd firing interval. The I3 has only one way you can layout the crank and still have a balanced-ish engine. So all the crossplane marketing is kinda goofy and just to match the Yamaha design ethos

    Crossplane inspired 3 cylinder? There's nothing crossplane about it. It's just an ordinary 3 cylinder bike.

      all 120° 3 cylinders are naturally "cross plane" in that the planes of the crank pins cross each other.

    This bike is decades late. I'm still shaking my head about buying the FZ6 in 2006. The North American models sucked.

    The gap between the seat and the tank is still what turns me off with this stupidly ugly bike.
