I'd be pissed if I paid that much money and only got 2 hp at the top but lost 2hp in the midrange where you spend most of your time. Call it ugly, but the factory pipe is good.
If you're dumb enough to think just throwing a full exhaust on a modern bike with no tune is a good idea that will get you performance gains, then you deserve to be pissed lol
Personally the bike with its stock flash is very sluggish at the bottom of second there is no power …it’s not so much the hp gain it’s the improved torque curve ! Makes the bike a lot more enjoyable to ride !
New sub here! Great video man! Thinking about buying an XSR900 soon and always like to look into this sort of stuff before committing to a purchase. Thanks for this!
Kudos for doing a base line run first and showing it. I get tired of seeing dyno videos only showing the modified bike, without a baseline it means nothing.
I be disappointed with the new exhaust being nearly as heavy as stock considering the price of an akrapovic exhaust system Enjoyed the video doe I'm sure the customer is very happy overall
Yeah he's enjoying the bike. This will be either the 2nd or 3rd bike I've tuned for him. He rides them up on the tail of the dragon often. Very nice guy and good customer 🤙
fz , mt and the xsr are the same engine and my fz makes 120 hp with a full exhaust KOlightning pipe from ebay $234.00 and with mr12 fuel 125 hp Et. 9.62 1/4 mile. On this bike you have to modify the airbox for best result
The 2021+ mt & 2022+ XSR are similar but not the same, the newer ones are 890cc with different cams for slightly more torque & slightly less top end HP

Watch the entire video, it 13 hp

Thank you! Bought me a XSR900 on Black Friday.
Is the US version of xsr900 restricted in some way? The EU version comes with ~120bhp and over 90Nm 👀
Euros have lower testosterone so they need to fudge their numbers to compensate

Yessir 🤙 that's why we do it 💪

@@jfro5867 we try to be as transparent as possible! 🤙 thank you for the comment!
Interesting that it would be rich from the factory if they are trying to prioritize emissions from factory.
@@agooddadandadirtbike7149 we are very surprised as well. Definitely did not expect those results!
I’m surprised the bike was running rich with the pipe with no tune.
We noticed Yamaha has been like this lately. Very surprising!
@@provenpowercycles I left you a voicemail yesterday regarding prices on a tune for my 2024 mt07 👍
For reliability, lean is bad

that's a great gain for that little Yammy you'll definitely notice that riding it.
❤ from Philippines 👍😊

I'd pass on the Akra
That's bad numbers
Nice. Tell Seth he’s too pretty to be behind the camera.
😅😅 I will
You know what else is a great way to increase power? Sell that thing and buy an actual liter bike 😂
Definitely not worth the cost,
