I would prefer pure core exercises. Planks workout my shoulders far more than my abs.
Maybe do on knees to ease pressure/weight and be able on holding core upwards as much as can
Try to squeze abs and controll movement, planks are great for deep muscle strenghtening and stabilization. Try less seconds and progress slowlly.
Good thing there are plenty of other workouts to choose from 👍 shoulder workouts are good too!
