ItsYeBoiKj No, I have only been completely blind for 10 years. However I have never seen anything in my right eye, and only a small amount in my left since I was three. I have only had enough vision in my past to see shapes, colors, and movements within a couple of feet. And don’t worry about asking me questions about this, I don’t consider it rude, just curious. Love educating and bring awareness so feel free to ask more.
awws, I'm happy you get to keep her as a pet! most people don't get to as they can't afford to keep a pet & working dog. But it's awesome she gets to stay with her family, even if she isn't guiding you. She'll be getting a new sibling too! :) BTW is she retiring from being too old or is there a max limit of years you can keep a dog working?
I know, I can’t believe she is gone either and it’s been almost one year. I wish I could see her beautiful face in these videos. I have her etched in my memories through the way I used to see her with my hands. I know she is watching over me from heaven, helping mommy and my new guiding angel Arabella travel through this world safely.

I know Antonia has crossed the rainbow bridge for a little while now, but the part where you give her the puppicino and thank her for her service really made me bawl. Animals are so important in my life, and losing one really takes a toll on my physical health as I am not in the best of health. I know the love they give is special, especially when they are a service and/or therapy dog. What a beautiful tribute you gave to her, thank you for sharing this personal video.

Thank you so much my first baby had to be euthanized from cancer... he had zero energy. But his last car ride he had the energy to attempt to raise his head out the window for his little wind bath. He ultimately could not do it on his own the whole way but I helped him out with that. This is heartbreaking.
You are the best human being ever! You are so so happy despite the fact that you can't see. I have been so ungrateful my entire life for my height(which is short). You are such a source of motivation and I have happy tears in my eyes. If I could, I wouldnt mind giving my eyes to you because you deserve them way more than I do.

This made me cry! Your love for her is beautiful and although I am not blind, I know the love. I have a 5 month old pup in training to hopefully become my future service dog. He is amazing at all of his training and makes me so proud. The pride you feel for them and the trust you put into them. Knowing that they make you life so much more fulfilled and accessable is amazing. My dog is only 5 months old and has not even gone through all his training, and I already almost had to retire him because the vet thought he had a liver problem. Turns out it was a false alarm, but those weeks of not knowing and fearing the worst, hurt in ways I didnt understand. Knowing that he has SO much potential, knowing that he truely LOVES working.. then thinking it may be cut short.. it killed me. Heres hoping for a good long 10+ year run for my little guy. And heres to your awsome retired pup!

dang eye sweat. I have a friend who has been through several Guide Dogs, it's hard on him and it is hard on the dogs when they have to retire. Keeping the retired dog as a pet is the only humane choice. Dogs are special, they are the only animal on the planet that has made an alliance with us. We cry when they come into our lives, we cry when they leave us. But we never regret having them. Glad I found this channel. I don't subscribe to many, but I'll make an exception for this one.

dang eye sweat. I have a friend who has been through several Guide Dogs, it's hard on him and it is hard on the dogs when they have to retire. Keeping the retired dog as a pet is the only humane choice. Dogs are special, they are the only animal on the planet that has made an alliance with us. We cry when they come into our lives, we cry when they leave us. But we never regret having them.
