That is really a jackal? They look like the foxes we have in MN. We had a family of foxes living in our woods. I have Newfies & the 15 lb Momma would stand her ground against my 202 lb male newfy it was the craziest thing I ever seen.

Its because they are an emotional wreck. They are not supposed to be locked up. They are searching for something that is never met in that environment. They just do not know what it is. But it is not there. Not saying that they are mistreated or anything, but people are the only outlet for their needs.

Hey, there!.. South African, here.. I am watching your video and I am smiling at the scheer joy these animals are showing when you arrived home.. Its so sweet!.. You know - the jackal and fox are very common, especially in north-western South Africa and throughout Namibia.. When we drive up north from Cape Town, one will be able to see them next to the road, especially during the nights when its cooler.. The howling of jackals are very common when you for example camp out in the open and you lay in your tent next to your campfire, underneath the stars.. (Mind the lions, though!).. Its the most beautiful sound, and when your jackal tilted it's head backwards and howled, it brought a big smile to my face.. 😊

they're so cute! this is why i love wildlife so much, because even if they're still wild but cared for or handled by humans once in a non abusive relationship with said human, the animal would form a bond with the person, thus creating a bond similar to you and your foxes.

I'm so sorry for all of us! Losing someone furry is so devastating! The bonded connection and closeness sometimes surpasses the loss of a human. 💔 Especially rough when you have others around you that don't get it.

Hey, there!.. South African, here.. I am watching your video and I am smiling at the scheer joy these animals are showing when you arrived home.. Its so sweet!.. You know - the jackal and fox are very common, especially in north-western South Africa and throughout Namibia.. When we drive up north from Cape Town, one will be able to see them next to the road, especially during the nights when its cooler.. The howling of jackals are very common when you for example camp out in the open and you lay in your tent next to your campfire, underneath the stars.. (Mind the lions, though!).. Its the most beautiful sound, and when your jackal tilted it's head backwards and howled, it brought a big smile to my face.. 😊
You are very lucky people to be surrounded with so many lovable snuggly animals.
That type of sincere LOVE coming from pets is PRICELESS...

Well you're certainly never left wondering if they're excited or not. Always wondered how soft foxes are, figured a bit more rough than most dogs but never got to pet one.
No they're super soft, that's why they're farmed for fur, unfortunately 😢

they're so cute! this is why i love wildlife so much, because even if they're still wild but cared for or handled by humans once in a non abusive relationship with said human, the animal would form a bond with the person, thus creating a bond similar to you and your foxes.
Anubis is so cute, especially having his bottle. Rolling in his own pee, maybe not so much.
I love animals...but not hugging the ones who peed in my house and rolled in it love animals. We had a dog like that growing up who my parents took to, "go live on a farm".

I agree 100% with you that man is the monster. Look at all the inhumane stuff done to our fur friends. Most all of it is based on wrong information, old folk lore and just fear.
