Shotokan Ryu Kase Ha - Chinte - 珍手

I can't emphasise enough how much this is my favourite kata. The rooting, the breathing, the depth, the flow, the bunkai options. There are so many things I love about this kata, and it feels like it suits me, moulded with it, I suppose.
This kata is very unique, in the sense that it includes techniques not seen in many other kata. The attitude of the kata is that of calmness, building into chaos, then back to calmness, almost like waves of the ocean crashing.
Many high-level Japanese sensei believed the kata to be very technical and sophisticated.
