I love watching his video's as I study, watch, learn and practice the techniques he shows. I have personally tested his techniques in my training and they have all worked. I'm so glad there is English dubbed voice on these videos. I have also shared the knowledge learned from these video's with other practitioners with me to help them get better as well.
Ai should be awesome but let's hope conservatives don't get enough power to block universal basic income cause they'd still block it even when doctors and lawyers couldn't get jobs cause they were taken by robots and AI!
Yes front kick is awesome, and this is good, especially his description of how to conceal the movement, and the support foot orientation is important, this guy is good but you need to practice so much that you never have to think about anything, just hit the target
Excellent explanation of how to kick Mae-gari effectively. The best Mae-gari I witnessed in kumite was by Barry Edelman. He was so fast that I sometimes felt his kick before I realized he had moved. The absence of push off with the kicking foot is crucial.
Excelente
Since I learned it in Karate at 16, it's become my signature move for defense. I learned that you only take your legs from the ground when to be effective. It's a great technique.
Thank you thank you so much you know I'm taking shuttle camp for years I haven't been practicing I admit it and I like to go back again but you explained it so well on posture and center of gravity thank you thank you thank you again os
When I did karate in the early 70s for about 8 years .I often missed the target with mae geri .But I sort of developed a hop mae geri which most guys found hard to block .I would sort of hop / step in with my right foot ,and simultaneously kick with my left .I used to gain about a foot of extra space doing that ,and my toes were protected from the block .I learnt it off another guy in competition after I fractured my big toe when he blocked my kick . 😅
Thank you Naka sensei for all this interesting and important notes and advices you give to the community. I´m be searching for an dojo teaching this skills in your way in my near. I stay in the south-west of germany near freiburg. Maybe you or someone in the community has an adress for me.
With all respects, as by Goju-ryu the short distance kick is made in a slightly rearward angle of the hip, using the legs only. THe farthr we kick the more forward push to the rear hip forward is applied. Were our teachers mistaken?Paul,69, former Goju-ryu practitioner.
see Lyoto Machida, Stephen Thompson, Michael Venom Page, Robert Whittaker and Katsunori Kikuno, all of them are MMA champions with a very strong background in karate, what's more, karate offers great distance control, variety of kicks and counter attacks for MMA, that's why 40% of fighters (both male and female) in the UFC have an influence on karate and others just incorporate some techniques of the art into their training
This is nothing compared to what he can do. Most karate is just movements especially western. He teaches how to get strength and deliver damage from correct techniques and he always shows how to use them in real fighting. You can’t kick his legs because he catches the leg with his legs and you fall you would l Dislocate your knee if he attacked you

Hi, this is great to have the VoiceOver in English, very much appreciated! Excellent explanation and demonstration by Naka Sensei.

Ok, this AI generated English doubling with Sensei Naka's voice is pretty awesome.
Ai should be awesome but let's hope conservatives don't get enough power to block universal basic income cause they'd still block it even when doctors and lawyers couldn't get jobs cause they were taken by robots and AI!
Thanks to sensei Naka, Shoto-kan karate is getting healthy again. Softer, quicker, more powerful. And wise.👍🙏🖐️
Yes front kick is awesome, and this is good, especially his description of how to conceal the movement, and the support foot orientation is important, this guy is good but you need to practice so much that you never have to think about anything, just hit the target

Ouch! Being an assistant must be very painful. 😊 I love watching his karate videos.
Very helpful. I'll incorporate this in training
Muy buena explicación técnica. Muchas gracias.

This is a very good video and guide for mae geri.

These tips are the secrets to master maegeri. Thanks for the english dubs! 💯 ❤
Our old school Taekwondo was greatly influenced by shotokan, we use a number of "ancestral" forms - Chulgi, Batsai, Rohai, Kusanku
I also play karate but I hope to be your student one day🙋♂️🥷
Thxs Maester 👍💭

No. It's dubbed by an AI.
Breathing is crucial

The english sub voice is A.I. generated from Naka sensei's voices?
Yep
Hi Sensei, where do you get your gi from?
Perhaps you should explain to potential viewers that this is AI-generated dubbing. Shihan's Naka English is in reality very poor. Anyways, good job!
Is thid Ryotaro from abroad in japan??
Master uerishiba would have corrected you
🙂
fastest kick on earth. Near all martial arts ww know.

Hhhhhh hhhhh

Bending the knee to reach farther? He actually slide his advance foot near to his opponent to reach him.
Laughable. This is why there is no karate in MMA.
