    The Torino looks solid from the bottom side. Pontiac, Dodge, AMC and Ford - you don't discriminate. If it burns gas and makes noise, the more the merrier!

    JD is so blessed to have his dad and granddad to learn from, 3 generations just awesome. I know it was avout the Torino, but the GT37 kept me distracted. Thanks for the video.

    Damn! Haven't seen a Torino since the late '70's and they were scarce even at that time. Pretty solid car for being sitting in a field basically. The Magnums really suit that car.
    Kudos to JD for getting right in there lending a hand in the wrenching dept.
    Damn cool to see him givin er alongside Pops and Grandpa!!

    I am more of a GM or MOPAR guy but... The 70 Torino GT has always been one of my favorite body Style. Its just

    One of my favorite cars. I have a built 429 that I've spent two years on and a 5 speed just waiting til I can find a decent Torino. They're such underrated muscle cars.

    I'm kinda psyched to see what comes of the Rolled Runner.... I'm wondering if the tortion bar suspension is like a super main issue with that.... I had trouble with the 2 Mopar cars I've worked on. Might wanna just get some old tubes moly pipe. And make a front frame on it. .in the long run

    A friend of mine had one of those when we were growing up, yellow with a red lazer stripe '70 GT. There were several of them in the parking lot when I was in high school. My ex brother in law had a green and black '71 Torino Cobra. Beautiful cars!

    We had a 71 Torino 500 when I was a kid. In less than 4 years the floorboards were rusted out......pull up the carpet there's the road. 😂😂😂
    Ours had the spoiler in the back also. Those are more rare than the ones without.

    I remember my friend wanting to mount the axle under the spring for more height. Rather than swapping axles or welding on new perches, he wanted to flip it. I said "so you wanna go really fast in reverse?", I got that blank Homer Simpson look.

    That rear leaf spring setup looks just like a 64 and older full size Ford. They went to coil spring on the full size cars in 65 but it looks like the smaller cars didn't change much. Really like how the leaf spring bushings just push in by hand.

    My dad has a 1970 Torino sitting in his driveway. Im hoping to get it drivable for him even though I don't know a thing about fixing up cars! Its been his dream to get it working and he ended up getting cancer a few months back, so now im gonna try and make his dream a reality!

    haha, reminds me of one time working at the neighbors. saw a big ugly old box truck drive by sitting kinda cockeyed, on the way home i stopped and there was 7-8 chunks of leaves sitting on the road. guy went over the railroad tracks and his leaf spring shattered.

    Check the drivers side front subframe right by the power steering ram… they love to rot out there. I’ve had a couple of those.

    The grille is 1971. 1970 Torino GT had 3 “gills “ on the dogleg of the rear quarter.

      Yes the grill has been changed, it's probably bumped something in the last 52 years. Also, it's not a real GT
